Hi! My name is Karen, and I’m a recent nursing school graduate living in Maryland. I’m a proud pet parent to three dogs, two parrots, and several cats—animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’d love the opportunity to care for yours! I have experience with feeding, playtime, administering medications, and making sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I primarily care for pets in my home. I work a couple of days a week, but my husband works from home full-time and helps care for the pets while I’m out—so your pets are never left alone. We have a large, secure backyard that’s perfect for outdoor play and exercise. Your pets will have space to run, explore, or just relax in the fresh air. For cats, I also offer a quiet, designated room if they prefer their own space. I’m loving, reliable, and passionate about animal care. I take pride in being honest, hardworking, and outgoing. Karen and her husband took great care of our dog Rocky. He is a senior dog that needs a bit of help navigating new spaces and we felt he was in great hands. They were very responsive, kind and flexible. We will definitely have them care for Rocky again!
Karen took great care of Bailee as always.
Karen was very welcoming, and was great with an older dog. Winston had a wonderful stay, and will be having a sleepover at her house next time we travel!

Programa
I have a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for and spend quality time with your pets during the day. I’m home most of the week, and on the couple of days I’m at work, my husband—who works from home—is here to help. Your pets will never be left alone—there’s always someone here to give them attention, love, and care so they feel safe and happy.

I have a big fenced yard and my friendly dogs to keep you fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if need it (Please bring the crate that your dogs usually uses if you request the dog to be crated). Includes playing, outdoor exercise, clean-up, feeding (please bring the food that you prefer), and a lot of extra attention. I will be sending pictures to you during the booking.

A typical day with me is relaxed, fun, and centered around your pet’s comfort. We spend lots of time in the house or out in our spacious backyard, which has plenty of room to run, play, and explore. I love tossing the ball for a good game of fetch, and we have a variety of toys to keep your pups entertained indoors too. For cats, I have lots of toys to keep them active and engaged, plus 2 designated quiet areas in the house where they can relax. If they’re curious and comfortable, they’re welcome to hang out with the dogs around the house—but only if they want to. I always make sure each pet feels safe, happy, and at home. On warm days, we bring out our medium-sized dog pool for some splash fun time. We sometimes even add ice to the yard to help them cool down—it’s always a favorite! If it gets too hot, we move the fun inside where it’s nice and cool, with lots of playtime, cuddles, and rest.
