You can tell that Ivan and his family truly love animals. My dog has issues with being left alone, and it was so nice at Ivan’s as his family all works from home and help to take care of your pet. In this case, it worked out so well as Maxy was never left alone once. They have a nice fenced in area and a dog door for easy in/out access. My top priorities are the exact same as yours: the safety, comfort and happiness of your friends during their stay, When they're here, they're family. I have extra dog beds, bowls and plenty of toys around for them. When we're out walking, I pay special attention to the surroundings to watch out for other dogs that are off of their leashes roaming, bike riders etc... You can let me know if there are activities they especially enjoy...walks, playing catch, afternoon naps etc...and I'll take care of the rest. If your pet has some reactivity issues during walking or other activities, I'll keep an eye out for it so there are no problems. Many pets who visit are endlessly entertained by all of the action at the park directly across the street. They'll spend time sitting at the front window watching everything that passes by, There's no need for your pup to be crate or cage trained but it's fine if they are. One of the absolute great features here are the various ramps we have leading inside and outside for pets that are older or have mobility issues. I've had many dogs, cats and others at all different energy and age levels throughout my life including beagles, pitbulls, poodles, cats and many others. I'll care for yours the same as if they were my own, giving them the attention they deserve so they don't experience any anxiety. They'll be allowed to hang out pretty much all over the house, including sitting on the couch if you allow it. About: Hi!! I’m Michele and I live in a townhouse community in North Potomac/Gaithersburg, adjacent to the Kentlands. I have owned rescue dogs for 30 years, and I have always chosen dogs that are “hard to adopt” due to having a traumatic history, having accompanying anxiety or other behavioral challenges, and/or being a wrongly stigmatized breed. All of my dogs have been mixed breeds — a Doberman mix, a Shepherd mix, a Rottweiler mix, a Pitbull mix, a Mini Pin mix, and a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I have also been helping my daughter over the past two years with her growing petsitting business. I have spent much of my career as a consulting writer and communications specialist in the global health and international development field, and have mostly worked from home. Due to recent changes in the federal government, most U.S.-based professionals in this field lost employment in 2025, and I am taking the opportunity to branch into more entrepreneurial paths that speak to my other personal passions. I always make sure my dogs (and yours!) have plenty of exercise, water, and hugs! And of course food and any medications according to your exact instructions. When I walk dogs, I am conscious of allowing them to have ample time to sniff and explore, as this gives them the mental exercise they need and tires them out for good naps during the day. I also love to give dogs play time in fenced yard/areas with any balls/toys they enjoy. About: Family love!! We now own a Bugg (boston terrier/pug mix) named Moxie who is 4 and previously owned a rescue pug named Rosie who lived to be 15. We have a single family home and large fully fenced in yard and love pet sitting all our neighbors' pets! We also have three boys (ages 5, 9, 12) who are comfortable around pets and love to play with them. My husband and I both telework so someone is home every day of the week. Either my husband or I am home every day. We typically walk our Bugg, Moxie, 3 times a day and also have a large fully fenced yard for her to play. About: I am currently only accepting hypoallergenic dogs for boarding and doggy daycare! These include but are not limited to: Bichon, Poodles (or any doodle), Yorkies, Maltese, and Schnauzer. I own two dogs, one is a young Miniature Goldendoodle that I have had since she was a couple of months old, and the other is a senior Toy Poodle that I have had since she was 5 years old. I have 10 years of experience caring for animals and always research how to best care for the animal in question. I have 2 years of experience with professional pet sitting. I am currently a student living at home, so I have plenty of time to care for pets, especially since I care for my own. I am available most of the week, every week. My yard is unfenced; however, we do have a chicken-wire fence in the backyard for my own dog, who has plenty of space to run around and play. We have lots of toys for your fur baby, and a kind and playful dog to keep your fur baby company. I can crate small dogs, but do not have large enough crates for large or medium dogs. If caring for your pet at your home, I can ensure your fur baby gets lots of playtime and walks.

I also keep my bookings intentionally limited so each cat receives steady, thoughtful care. Whether your cat needs quiet companionship, playtime, or medication, I make sure every visit feels consistent and reassuring for both you and your cat. My primary service is caring for cats in their own home, where many feel safest and most relaxed. I follow your instructions closely, from feeding and medication to doors, windows, lights, and entry routines. I know how much trust it takes to leave your cat and home in someone else’s care, so I treat both with great respect and attention. Each visit is tailored to your cat’s personality and your preferences. Some cats want play and affection, while others prefer quiet company and space. I pay close attention to food, water, litter box habits, and any small changes in behavior. After every visit, I send thoughtful updates with photos, videos, and a clear report, so you can feel informed and at ease while you’re away. If I ever care for a cat in my home, I would focus on slow introductions, separated food, close monitoring, and a calm, clean environment. My five resident cats are all up to date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and I always respect each cat’s pace and comfort level.
