Purple is super sweet and Boba had an awesome time. We only did 4 hours just to try it out and we were provided ample photos and video of Boba and his new friends! Over the past 7 years, I’ve also volunteered with rescue organizations, fostering puppies as young as 1–2 weeks old. We live on 2 acres of land with plenty of open space for safe exploration and exercise, along with an 11,000 sq. ft. home that provides ample room for your pet to relax and feel comfortable.

There's no place like home but if you can't be there, your pets should be here. I take the responsibility of providing great care and protecting pets here very seriously during their stay. Whether you’re going on vacation, buisness trip or just need a hand, I'm around and available to provide great care. Most pets have unique routines and behavior. I'll try to customize a schedule that suits each one best. Pets are never left alone and unattended in the yard. My top priorities are the exact same as yours; the safety, comfort and happiness of your pet during their stay, Just let me know if there are activities they especially enjoy...walks, playing catch, afternoon naps etc...and I'll take care of the rest. Most pets seem endlessly entertained by all of the action at the park directly across the street. They'll sit at the front window watching everything that passes by, If your dog happens to be an exteme jumper, let me know and I'll focus on long walks and other activities instead so they aren't left alone at all in the yard at all so there are no escapes. There's no need for your pet to be crate or cage trained here. I prefer not to use them unless instructed by you. One of the absolute great features here are the ramps we have leading inside and outside for pets that are older or have mobility issues. I've had dogs, cats and other pets at all different energy and age levels throughout my life including beagles, pitbulls, poodles, cats and many others. Sometimes a little attention and exercise is all they desire. I definitely enjoy caring for all animals and do understand that most pets have their patterns of behavior that give them character and make them who they are. I'll care for your pet like they were my own making sure they receive the attention they deserve. They'll be allowed to hang out pretty much all over the house, including sitting on the couch if you allow it and will not be left alone. If your pup loves walks, parks, creeks, playing catch and fenced yards, this is the place for them! A stay is more like going to camp for them. I currently don’t have any pets of my own and I’d love to care for yours in the meantime. I appreciate how much a great friend means to someone. If you’re trying to find genuine, loving care for your pet, you have found the right place. I'm always available for a meet and greet visit and it's best to reserve a spot early if possible, especially close to holidays. I do my best to remain flexible and accommodate most schedules. You never have to worry about being early or late with drop offs and pick ups, we can always arrange to keep everything convenient as possible. There's nothing better than spending time away without worrying about your pet’s safety and happiness. Here, I take precautions to ensure that everything goes well with no incidents. They have a fenced yard to explore and play in, a park right across the street where we take long walks, extended trails with a creek area to explore, and more right across the street and around the corner! If your dog occasionally acts uncomfortable or anxious around other dogs or people, I'll walk them in isolated-unpopulated areas. I've had more than one dog just like this so I know and understand how to work with these situations. I always keep things safe as a first priority. If pets don't seem to get along that well, they remain separated as necessary. There's plenty of room here and I make sure everything is dog proof, including making sure there's nothing they can get into on the counters or floors.( I know some dogs are like magicians and are very good at reaching things anywhere) If you have any questions or would like any other information please let me know anytime. About: Hi!! I’m Michele and I live in a townhouse community in North Potomac/Gaithersburg, adjacent to the Kentlands. I have owned rescue dogs for 30 years, and I have always chosen dogs that are “hard to adopt” due to having a traumatic history, having accompanying anxiety or other behavioral challenges, and/or being a wrongly stigmatized breed. All of my dogs have been mixed breeds — a Doberman mix, a Shepherd mix, a Rottweiler mix, a Pitbull mix, a Mini Pin mix, and a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I have also been helping my daughter over the past two years with her growing petsitting business. I have spent much of my career as a consulting writer and communications specialist in the global health and international development field, and have mostly worked from home. Due to recent changes in the federal government, most U.S.-based professionals in this field lost employment in 2025, and I am taking the opportunity to branch into more entrepreneurial paths that speak to my other personal passions. I always make sure my dogs (and yours!) have plenty of exercise, water, and hugs! And of course food and any medications according to your exact instructions. When I walk dogs, I am conscious of allowing them to have ample time to sniff and explore, as this gives them the mental exercise they need and tires them out for good naps during the day. I also love to give dogs play time in fenced yard/areas with any balls/toys they enjoy. I am available for walks at any time of the day, as well as housesitting in your home (or my home if you prefer!) when you are away! I am also happy to care for cats and any other pets. The work paths that I am building will all be mostly work-from-home. I will provide long and short walks, additional exercise in fenced areas, water, food, and medications! I am forever a dog-on-the-furniture/bed person but will happily respect your wishes if you prefer not to allow that. I will also provide crate training if desired! I currently do not have dogs living with me full time, but my daughter has two dogs and can bring them to my house anytime if you would like some social time built in.

About: Family love!! We now own a Bugg (boston terrier/pug mix) named Moxie who is 4 and previously owned a rescue pug named Rosie who lived to be 15. We have a single family home and large fully fenced in yard and love pet sitting all our neighbors' pets! We also have three boys (ages 5, 9, 12) who are comfortable around pets and love to play with them. My husband and I both telework so someone is home every day of the week. Either my husband or I am home every day. We typically walk our Bugg, Moxie, 3 times a day and also have a large fully fenced yard for her to play. Our current dog, Moxie, is free to roam our house all day and she sleeps in our son's room at night in her doggie bed. We don't mind dogs on our furniture or in any room, but can also provide separation or crating if desired.

As a remote worker, I have the flexibility to tailor my schedule to your pet's routine and unique needs, ensuring personalized care and attention throughout their stay. I strive to create a comfortable and safe environment for pets under my care, whether I'm caring for them in my own home or providing a drop-in visit at your home. For services whereby your pet is staying with me, I offer in-home doggy daycare for up to 8-hour stays and boarding services for extended to overnight care. All pups will have freedom to run around the house with plenty of exericse and playtime breaks throughout the day. To create a peaceful and stress-free mealtime for all pups, I feed them separately or in a designated space. In terms of supervision, there is always someone home as I live with four other family members who work remotely as well and are comfortable with providing supplemental care and attention as needed. Throughout the day, I like to share regular updates and photos to the owners, so they can see how their pets are doing while they're away. When caring for pets in a client's home, I'll work with you to confirm care instructions, your pet's routine and any additional needs your pet requires during my visit.

“Huey took such great care of my pupper Winky, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Winky can be super shy at first, so I always get nervous leaving him with someone new, but he got comfortable with Huey so quickly it was amazing! She has two super friendly dogs of her own(a little bichon and a corgi), and they got along so well with Winky which is awesome. She also sent me updates and photos during the stay and it looked like he was completely relaxed and having the best time. I also added on grooming during his stay, since she’s also a home based groomer and did such an amazing job(she told me she has 20 years of grooming experience!!) Winky came home looking so clean and adorable with the cutest haircut! You can really tell she has a ton of experience with dogs and genuinely cares about them. I’d absolutely book with Huey again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, experienced, and caring for their pup!”

“Shadid is amazing! It was my first time using Rover and I was nervous about leaving my puppy, Rudy, with someone else. From the moment we met Shadid, she was great with Rudy. I was concerned about Rudy getting anxious and being difficult to manage. I realized quickly that I had nothing to worry about with Shadid. Rudy was immediately comfortable with her. I don’t think he even noticed me leave because he was so excited to hang out with Shadid & Pebbles all day. Throughout the day, I received pictures of Rudy at the park and playing. It felt great knowing that Rudy was in good hands and having an amazing day. When I picked Rudy up, he was sad to leave! Rudy can be challenging and usually takes a while to warm up to people, so I was extremely impressed by Shadid’s ability to care for dogs. I would absolutely be comfortable leaving Rudy with Shadid again and am so grateful that I found her. If you love your dog and don’t know which sitter will be best, contact Shadid!! Your dog will have the best day and you’ll feel great knowing he/she is in good hands! From a professional standpoint, Shadid is excellent. I’m in medical school and was taking an exam during Rudy’s stay, so it was important to me that the sitter be professional. Shadid was perfect. She responds quickly and is completely reliable.
