From our first communications and introductory meeting before we left our 11mo Goldendoodle with her, Sriju was welcoming, gentle, extremely responsive, organized, completely accommodating, and loving. This was our first time leaving Benny with someone else (we were away six days) so we were already a bit on edge; Sriju put us at ease immediately. Everyday while we were gone Sriju sent texts and pictures (usually once in AM and once in PM). She took Benny on numerous walks throughout the day as well as to the dog park. She adjusted to his needs, not the other way around, and provided an atmosphere that made Benny completely comfortable, as evidenced by his affection toward her when it was time to pick him up upon our return. I own two dogs, one is a young Miniature Goldendoodle that I have had since she was a couple of months old, and the other is a senior Toy Poodle that I have had since she was 5 years old. I have 10 years of experience caring for animals and always research how to best care for the animal in question. I have 2 years of experience with professional pet sitting. I am currently a student living at home, so I have plenty of time to care for pets, especially since I care for my own. I am available most of the week, every week. My yard is unfenced; however, we do have a chicken-wire fence in the backyard for my own dog, who has plenty of space to run around and play. I have owned rescue dogs for 30 years, and I have always chosen dogs that are “hard to adopt” due to having a traumatic history, having accompanying anxiety or other behavioral challenges, and/or being a wrongly stigmatized breed. All of my dogs have been mixed breeds — a Doberman mix, a Shepherd mix, a Rottweiler mix, a Pitbull mix, a Mini Pin mix, and a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I have also been helping my daughter over the past two years with her growing petsitting business, which has included caring for dogs, cats, and a bearded dragon. I have spent much of my career as a consulting writer and communications specialist in the global health and international development field, and have mostly worked from home. Due to recent changes in the federal government, most U.S.-based professionals in this field lost employment in 2025, and I am taking the opportunity to branch into more entrepreneurial paths that speak to my other personal passions. About: I have taken care of dogs for a few years now and decided I want to help those in need of a dog sitter and some training. About: Back in Maryland for July for Summer Break!I’ve had two dogs (including a GSD!) Additionally, I have fostered two cats. In my current apartment, I have no pets. I understand all animals have different personalities and that’s what makes them special. I’m a medical school student so actually owning a pet is a little difficult but I would to help take care of yours from time to time! About: I’ve grown up with dogs then owned two blue heelers: one hearing and one deaf. Happy to take good care of your sweet doggies and that you can relax while you are away. I work from home and have a super flexible schedule. I have a doggy door and a fenced yard, and nice trail for long walks. Will invite your doggie(s) as part of our routine and happy to walk more than once a day- will give attention and be sure your dog is happy and comfortable

About: I have had pets in my family even before i was born, and ever since then my passion for animals has been nothing but strong. I currently have a dog, two indoor cats, and two outdoor cats. I love spending time with animals, learning their personalities, and forming a bond with them. I am very enthusiastic and can definitely keep your pet occupied, there are lots of pet toys around my home for them to enjoy, and some playmates too! I currently work part time so my availability is pretty open. I am available most days, especially weekdays. I am also more than willing to provide pet care services on Holidays. I have an acre of fenced in backyard, but have no problem leashing your dog if they could hop the fence. My dog is very friendly with other dogs his size, so he will be happy to play! Please be aware, we are not a 100% smoke-free household, however, we do keep smoking restricted to a single ventilated room that our pets (and yours) do not have access to.

Since the passing of our older dog, Dino, Gideon has struggled with being separated from us and can become quite anxious at drop-off. Jill and Sean were incredibly patient, flexible, and comforting when Gideon became upset. They took the time to help him settle in and made him feel safe and cared for. Throughout his 7-hour stay, they sent thoughtful updates and photos that reassured us he was adjusting well and receiving lots of attention. It was clear that they genuinely cared about Gideon’s well-being and understood that every dog has unique needs. Their kindness and compassion gave us tremendous peace of mind. At the meet and greet she was very thorough with her questions about the cat and dog and making sure all their needs were met. It felt like she has an understanding about the types of issues that could arise and how to deal with them. Very organized. Very attentive, warm loving people. I was sent updates and photos throughout my time away. Her yard is crazy big and beautiful and fenced in. My dog LOVED it! She was able to accommodate my daughter’s cat at the same time last minute. I felt so secure knowing they were being well taken care of while I was gone. Cat had her little cat tower and pictures of the cat by the glass door able to look outside and see everything. I am done searching for Rover people… will definitely use Marylee again. Excellent!!”
