“It was a last minute book, i was having an emergency, she was gentle to book and take my 12 years old dog to day care on Sunday, and provide a picture of him. I only can say, Thank you!!”

“Melissa was absolutely amazing with our Goldendoodle, Jasper. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she genuinely loves dogs, and that showed in every part of Jasper’s stay. She and her family treated Jasper with so much love, care, and attention that he truly felt like part of their family. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious that Jasper was happy, comfortable, and having a great time. When we picked him up, he looked so relaxed and happy. it honestly seemed like he wanted to stay there with them. That says everything about the kind of care Melissa provides. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would recommend Melissa to anyone looking for someone who will treat their dog like family. Thank you again for taking such wonderful care of our boy, Jasper.”

“Huan took excellent care of my dog for the time he was with her. I received regular updates with photos and videos, which was very reassuring. My dog came back happy and relaxed—he clearly got lots of attention, great walks, and plenty of belly rubs. She’s kind, personable, and truly attentive. I highly recommend her for boarding and sitting.”

“Rong was fantastic! She communicated regularly and Ralphie came home happy. I can’t ask for much more than that! Her dog, Lucky, is also a sweetheart and made a good companion for my dog.”

“Poh Huey is absolutely amazing. She took great care of our dog Belle recently when we were out of town. She was responsive, courteous, and very professional. Huey was genuinely attentive to Belle, which was greatly appreciated. She provides video/photo updates. Her fenced backyard with artificial turf provides a safety and clean playground for dogs. Her two dogs are super friendly. Huey is the best!!”

“My pup always has a great stay with Wendy! She sends daily photos and updates. She also was helpful and persistent with encouraging my anxious pup to eat. We are so happy to have Wendy as our regular dog sitter!”

“Koda stayed with Dawn for 4 nights and I was at peace. Dawn shared so many pictures and videos. Dawn shared every detail of Koda's stay with me. Dawn has a huge yard for dogs to run. Koda was happy running and playing with the other dogs. She was fed on schedule and pampered. Dawn helped her to feel at home while she was there. I definitely recommend her for your dogs. Mildred E”

“Evvery was wonderful with our dogs. We knew that she would have another dog with her and wanted to test our foster dog in that situation. She met us outside and took all 3 dogs on a walk until they acclimated. We received several videos and pictures of how they were getting along. Other sitters may skip out on that last walk before the dogs are picked up but Everry kept to the schedule. I highly recommend her and will use her in the future.”

“James, Nicolette, and their children took excellent care of our nine month old Portuguese Water Dog puppy. Lizzy was treated as part of their loving family and had plenty of exercise and attention. My wife and I received constant updates and photos. I highly recommend them and would use them again without hesitation in the future.”

“I would like to personally recommend Xiao if you need an outstanding dog sitter. I boarded my baby Skip Marley with her for a week. She kept me informed on how he was doing sending me pictures and videos which helped put me at ease in knowing he was being well cared for. I believe Skip may have been afraid at the beginning and on guard, but by the time I went back to pick him up he was a happy and healthy guy. I am sure she spoiled him rotten. He did not want to leave. She has a big gated back yard where Skip could run around and explore. I will definitely use her again. Thank you so much Xiao for taking care of my baby!”

“Andrea and Michael couldn’t have been sweeter to our little pup. They kept us up to date with pictures and gave our little guy his daily medications. We could tell that he enjoyed his time there immensely. We have used other sitters but have never been happier than we were with Andrea and Michael. We would not hesitate to use them again. Highly recommend.”

“My two French bulldogs made themselves right at home with Piero and his family. They treated my doggos with great care and attention. It was also a huge plus that someone was always home with my girls. Piero was great with sending pictures and keeping me updated. It was super easy and I will be using him again to watch my dogs. 100 percent recommend - a wonderful sitter!”

“We are so grateful to Pam! She treated Mikko incredibly well. And he played with toys for one of the first times (he’s a rescue and an older dog so this was amazing). His food has multiple steps to it and she was very detail oriented regarding this. Thank you again Pam!! 💌”

“John and Viona took great care of Chase. Gave him his meds and let him take it easy with their senior dog. We got photos and videos of our dog during our trip. And communication was a breeze. Would gladly recommend them.”

“Chris is an amazing dog sitter! I had such a great experience with Chris! He is so nice, friendly, and truly cares about the pets he watches. While I was on vacation, he sent me videos and photos of my dog Isabella, which gave me such peace of mind. Chris took excellent care of her, and when I picked her up she looked happy, relaxed, and refreshed. I will definitely use his services again for dog sitting — he’s amazing! Thanks again Chris!”

“This was the first time we left our four month old puppy with anyone, and Robin was the right choice! We got pictures and updates daily and could see our puppy was well cared for and having a great time. If Robin is willing, she’ll be our first choice for boarding in the future.”

“The Wenyan and Purple team are super super amazing! I was so nervous to leave Boba somewhere because sometimes his anxiety gets the best of him. After reading about all the care that the Wenyan and Purple team give to their fellow visitors, we had to see and try them for ourself…and let me tell you!! They were everything they said and more!! Purple is super sweet and Boba had an awesome time. We only did 4 hours just to try it out and we were provided ample photos and video of Boba and his new friends! We will def be bringing him back and thank you for taking care of our baby!!! ❤️❤️”

“Sriju is a very kind person. She is attentive to my dog, Daisy, when she stays for the day. Daisy loves staying with her. I will continue to keep bringing my dog to stay with Sriju🐶🥰”

About: I have over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. Over the past 7 years, I’ve also volunteered with rescue organizations, fostering puppies as young as 1–2 weeks old. This has involved full-time care- feeding, socialization, basic training, and monitoring their health - until they are ready for their forever homes. Because I’ve cared for so many dogs at different stages of life, I’m very attentive to routines, diet needs, medical instructions, and behavior changes. I’m calm, patient, and confident handling shy, energetic, or anxious dogs, and I make sure each pet feels secure and comfortable from the moment they arrive. Safety and communication are extremely important to me. I follow owners’ instructions closely, maintain a clean and structured environment, and provide regular updates so you always know how your dog is doing. Whether it's a puppy, an adult dog, or a senior with special needs, I’m committed to giving every animal the same level of care and consistency I give my own. My wife (a full-time homemaker) and I ensure that your furry family member is never left alone while staying with us. One of us is always home, providing constant supervision, comfort, and companionship throughout their visit. Your dog will enjoy a fully fenced, secure play area and 2–3 walks per day. We live on 2 acres of land with plenty of open space for safe exploration and exercise, along with an 11,000 sq. ft. home that provides ample room for your pet to relax and feel comfortable.
“Olga was the best 😊 Diego clearly enjoyed his time with Olga and her sweet dog! I am so glad that I was able to find someone who gave great care to my dog— will definitely be seeing Olga again, and I would highly recommend her to anyone needing doggy day care! 🐕 😁”

About: Hi!! I’m Michele and I live in a townhouse community in North Potomac/Gaithersburg, adjacent to the Kentlands. I have owned rescue dogs for 30 years, and I have always chosen dogs that are “hard to adopt” due to having a traumatic history, having accompanying anxiety or other behavioral challenges, and/or being a wrongly stigmatized breed. All of my dogs have been mixed breeds — a Doberman mix, a Shepherd mix, a Rottweiler mix, a Pitbull mix, a Mini Pin mix, and a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I have also been helping my daughter over the past two years with her growing petsitting business. I have spent much of my career as a consulting writer and communications specialist in the global health and international development field, and have mostly worked from home. Due to recent changes in the federal government, most U.S.-based professionals in this field lost employment in 2025, and I am taking the opportunity to branch into more entrepreneurial paths that speak to my other personal passions. I always make sure my dogs (and yours!) have plenty of exercise, water, and hugs! And of course food and any medications according to your exact instructions. When I walk dogs, I am conscious of allowing them to have ample time to sniff and explore, as this gives them the mental exercise they need and tires them out for good naps during the day. I also love to give dogs play time in fenced yard/areas with any balls/toys they enjoy. I am available for walks at any time of the day, as well as housesitting in your home (or my home if you prefer!) when you are away! I am also happy to care for cats and any other pets. Thanks so much for considering me, and I hope to meet you and your best friend(s) soon! I’m currently rebuilding my career from scratch and have plenty of time for pet care! The work paths that I am building will all be mostly work-from-home. I will provide long and short walks, additional exercise in fenced areas, water, food, and medications! I am forever a dog-on-the-furniture/bed person but will happily respect your wishes if you prefer not to allow that. I will also provide crate training if desired! I currently do not have dogs living with me full time, but my daughter has two dogs and can bring them to my house anytime if you would like some social time built in.
About: (September 13th-16th..... October 12th-17th... November...December 1-5 and the 14th-31st still open) Please reserve a spot early if you are looking at specific dates. *Coming Soon...Pick-up and Drop-Off Service (within a limited radius). There's no place like home but if you can't be there, your pets should be here. I take the responsibility of providing great care and protecting pets very seriously during their stay. Whether you’re going on vacation, buisness trip or just need a hand, I'm around and available to provide the best available care for whatever kind of pet you have. Since every pet is unique with a different routine and behavior, I'll try to customize a schedule that suits them best. Pets are never left alone and unattended in the yard. My top priorities are the exact same as yours; the safety, comfort and happiness of your pet during their stay, Just let me know if there are activities they especially enjoy...walks, playing catch, afternoon naps etc...and I'll take care of the rest. Most pets seem endlessly entertained by all of the action at the park directly across the street. They'll sit at the front window anxiously looking at everything that passes by, waiting to say hi to their friends. If your dog happens to be an exteme jumper, let me know and I'll focus on long walks and other activities instead so they aren't left alone at all in the yard at all so there are no escapes. There's no need for your pet to be crate or cage trained here. I prefer not to use them unless instructed by you. One of the absolute great features here are the ramps we have leading inside and outside for pets that are older or have mobility issues. I've had dogs, cats and other pets at all different energy and age levels throughout my life including beagles, pitbulls, poodles, cats and many others. Sometimes a little attention and exercise is all they desire. I definitely enjoy caring for all animals and do understand that most pets have their patterns of behavior that give them character and make them who they are. I'll care for your pet like they were my own making sure they receive the attention they deserve. They'll be allowed to hang out pretty much all over the house, including sitting on the couch if you allow it and will not be left alone. If your pup loves walks, parks, creeks, playing catch and fenced yards, this is the place for them! A stay is more like going to camp for them. I currently don’t have any pets of my own and I’d love to care for yours in the meantime. I appreciate how much a great friend means to someone. If you’re trying to find genuine, loving care for your pet, you have found the right place. I'm always available for a meet and greet visit and it's best to reserve a spot early if possible, especially close to holidays. If you have a chance, please check out the photo gallery to see some of our buddies enjoying their time in the parks and surroundings. If you would like any other information, just get in touch anytime. Thank you again for your time and interest. We hope to see you soon. I'm usually at home and available most of the time during the week and weekends to provide the best possible care for your pets. I do my best to remain flexible and accommodate most schedules. You never have to worry about being early or late, we can always keep everything as convenient as possible. There's nothing better than spending time away without worrying about your pet’s safety and happiness. Here, I take precautions to ensure that everything goes well with no incidents. They have a fenced yard to explore and play in, a park right across the street where we take long walks, extended trails with a creek area to explore, and more right across the street and around the corner! If your dog occasionally acts uncomfortable or anxious around other dogs or people, I'll walk them in isolated-unpopulated areas. I've had more than one dog just like this so I know and understand how to work with these situations. I always keep things safe as a first priority. If pets don't seem to get along that well, they remain separated as necessary. There's plenty of room here and I make sure everything is dog proof, including making sure there's nothing they can get into on the counters or floors.( I know some dogs are like magicians and are very good at reaching things anywhere) If you have any questions or would like any other information please let me know anytime. I do my very best to make any stay for pets enjoyable and safe.
“This was my 1st time dropping off Gibbs at Jayendri’s place. We are preparing him for a longer stay. The 1st time went well. Plenty of pictures shared and Gibbs came back happy. Jayendri was good at communicating proactively with me during the stay.”

In terms of supervision, there is always someone home as I live with four other family members who work remotely as well and are comfortable with providing supplemental care and attention as needed. Throughout the day, I like to share regular updates and photos to the owners, so they can see how their pets are doing while they're away. When caring for pets in a client's home, I'll work with you to confirm care instructions, your pet's routine and any additional needs your pet requires during my visit.
About: Family love!! We now own a Bugg (boston terrier/pug mix) named Moxie who is 4 and previously owned a rescue pug named Rosie who lived to be 15. We have a single family home and large fully fenced in yard and love pet sitting all our neighbors' pets! We also have three boys (ages 5, 9, 12) who are comfortable around pets and love to play with them. My husband and I both telework so someone is home every day of the week. Either my husband or I am home every day. We typically walk our Bugg, Moxie, 3 times a day and also have a large fully fenced yard for her to play. Our current dog, Moxie, is free to roam our house all day and she sleeps in our son's room at night in her doggie bed. We don't mind dogs on our furniture or in any room, but can also provide separation or crating if desired.
“Dawn was an incredible sitter! She kept me updated throughout the entire process with great communication, photos, and videos of Scooby. She even gave him three toys- so thoughtful! I’d definitely recommend her.”

“Huey took such great care of my pupper Winky, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Winky can be super shy at first, so I always get nervous leaving him with someone new, but he got comfortable with Huey so quickly it was amazing! She has two super friendly dogs of her own(a little bichon and a corgi), and they got along so well with Winky which is awesome. She also sent me updates and photos during the stay and it looked like he was completely relaxed and having the best time. I also added on grooming during his stay, since she’s also a home based groomer and did such an amazing job(she told me she has 20 years of grooming experience!!) Winky came home looking so clean and adorable with the cutest haircut! You can really tell she has a ton of experience with dogs and genuinely cares about them. I’d absolutely book with Huey again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, experienced, and caring for their pup!”

“Payton did an amazing job walking our sweet Polly, even though Polly was hiding and reluctant to walk at first. We would recommend Payton to anyone looking for a reliable, caring dog walker!”

“Pilar is amazing!! She is so friendly, kind, and positive - she is also a certified dog whisperer because my pup, who is normally very shy around strangers, loved her almost immediately. It was so awesome to see how he was always so happy to see her. I also really appreciated how professional and communicative Pilar was - I knew my pup was in capable hands and having a great walk every time!”

About: Hi, I’m Eileen. I provide gentle, attentive care for small dogs, with a focus on safety, routine, and a calm home environment. My availability is primarily weekends, holidays, and selected weekday evenings, which allows me to give each dog steady, unhurried attention. I tailor care to each pup’s personality, whether that means relaxed walks, light play, quiet companionship, or simply keeping their routine familiar and reassuring. I follow feeding and medication instructions carefully, keep bowls and rest areas clean, and send thoughtful updates with photos so you can feel fully at ease. Because I have resident cats, I’m best suited for cat-savvy small dogs. I approach introductions slowly, supervise carefully, and can keep spaces separate when needed. My style is warm, detail-oriented, and intentionally limited in volume, so each dog receives the same thoughtful care I would want for my own pets. 🕰️ Schedule I work a full-time 9–5 role during weekdays, and I thoughtfully plan my pet care visits around that schedule to ensure each visit is calm, unhurried, and consistent. On weekdays, I offer evening drop-in visits, which tend to be a natural and comforting time for most cats, which is quiet, predictable, and aligned with their evening routines. On weekends and holidays, I’m available between 10am–5pm, with more flexibility to match your cat’s preferred schedule. At home, I care for my own five cats every day, so multi-cat routines, different personalities, and maintaining a clean, peaceful environment are already part of my daily life. When I visit your home, I bring that same level of attentiveness—never rushed, always respectful of your cat’s pace and space. I also keep my bookings intentionally limited so each cat receives steady, thoughtful care. Whether your cat needs quiet companionship, playtime, or medication, I make sure every visit feels consistent and reassuring for both you and your cat. My primary service is caring for cats in their own home, where many feel safest and most relaxed. I follow your instructions closely, from feeding and medication to doors, windows, lights, and entry routines. I know how much trust it takes to leave your cat and home in someone else’s care, so I treat both with great respect and attention. Each visit is tailored to your cat’s personality and your preferences. Some cats want play and affection, while others prefer quiet company and space. I pay close attention to food, water, litter box habits, and any small changes in behavior. After every visit, I send thoughtful updates with photos, videos, and a clear report, so you can feel informed and at ease while you’re away. If I ever care for a cat in my home, I would focus on slow introductions, separated food, close monitoring, and a calm, clean environment. My five resident cats are all up to date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and I always respect each cat’s pace and comfort level.
“We hired Max to walk and handle our dog Gus on our wedding day and he was so great! He was also flexible when we had some last minute changes to the plan. We appreciate his help so much and would definitely recommend him!”

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. I’ve fostered, adopted, and cared for many dogs. Puppies and kittens are my specialty, but senior animals deserve just as much love. I treat every animal like they’re my own. Pet care is already a part of my daily routine. With a flexible schedule, I can give pets the time, attention, and consistency they need. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or plenty of cuddles, I make sure every pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I care for dogs and cats by following their routines, providing meals, fresh water, exercise, playtime, affection, and plenty of patience and attention. My goal is simple: a happy pet is a cared-for pet
About: I have taken care of dogs for a few years now and decided I want to help those in need of a dog sitter and some training. I’m a nurse and work 3 days a week and looking to dog sit or walk on my days off. My schedule is pretty flexible so I can switch my days around if needed. I have an American Bully named Milo who is 10 months old. He loves meeting new dogs and is very friendly. I have a small fenced yard but I will take my puppy on walks at least 2-3 times a day. Because Milo is still a puppy having another dog will also help his energy levels.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs then owned two blue heelers: one hearing and one deaf. Happy to take good care of your sweet doggies and that you can relax while you are away. I work from home and have a super flexible schedule. I have a doggy door and a fenced yard, and nice trail for long walks. Will invite your doggie(s) as part of our routine and happy to walk more than once a day- will give attention and be sure your dog is happy and comfortable
“I only had Doc for a month before I needed a reliable and professional walker who I could trust. Marc is the perfect fit! Doc is skittish at times but he warmed up to Marc almost instantly. He's punctual and always sends a few pictures of the walk. I definitely recommend him!”

About: I have taken care of my own dog since I was young, and since her passing I have routinely dogsit for friends and family. My childhood right-paw-man was a Beagle mix, and so I love to handle hounds who sniff first & think later (as well as distract them with Pupperoni…). I took care of her in her old age, so I have some experience in dropping medicine on the floor and pretending it’s a delectable morsel so dogs devour it! I also have handled plenty of bark-happy dogs, and like to bring treats on all my walks to incentivize more calmer adventures. I am currently in a partly asynchronous grad school program, and I’d love to spend my very flexible time taking healthy (and frequent) breaks from studying to care for your pet! I’m excited to adapt to fur-parents’ homes and needs! I’m comfortable crating pets, supervising outdoor time in fenced yards, and being attentive to your pets’ body language while inside their home.

“Victor is great with my dog Marcie! He made sure to ask about everything he might need to know for her. My cat liked him too. Victor is very kind and conscientious and you can definitely trust him with your pet. He will absolutely go above and beyond to make sure they are well taken care of.”

About: I am a young working professional in Gaithersburg. I have had a dog since 11 years old but fell in love with dogs more recently. After my own pup passed, I began dog sitting for many dogs in my neighborhood. I too like to go on long walks and find dogs to be the perfect companion. If I am trusted with your pup, rest assured that I will spoil them with lots of love, snuggles, walks, and pup cups. I love to take local walking trails in Gaithersburg. I have taken care of small dogs (french bulldog, bichon), and big dogs (poodle, lab) and in between. I also have experience in caring for dogs of all ages, 1 year to 14 years. I have basic training knowledge but am trying to learn more. I currently work in the evening times and am at home during the day during the week until 3pm. I can handle anything from 6am-3pm and 10pm-12am. Anything outside of that schedule can be accommodated upon request. I have some other days off and more flexibility if needed. I live in a walkable neighborhood with lots of greenery to talk your pups out. For boarding, I live in a home with 2 other adults and a 10 year old but no other pets. We prefer to meet any dogs either for a public or home visit before agreeing to boarding. We do not have a fenced in yard nor is it very big, for potty breaks we usually take the dog out on the leash out front.
“I needed someone to come for a drop-in and watch on pretty short notice. Jessica responded very quickly and was willing to come over the very same day for a meet and greet. She was very sweet with our dog and he immediately liked her. On the day of the drop-in she came exactly on time, took Comet for a nice walk and made sure he had a full bowl of water before she left. Very happy with Jessica's service and look forward to booking her again.”

“Jill and her family made sure to keep our dog on his medication schedule and monitor his healing knee injury. It wasn’t an ideal time to go on vacation but Jill reassured me and explained to me that she had experience giving medication and that her home would be a safe environment. I came back to a happy dog that was moving better than when I had dropped him off.”

“Aurora loves hanging out with Camilo and his wife! It’s like the best vacation, with multiple walks and enrichment activities everyday and someone with her at the house all day. Camilo is always my first call when I need to travel, because I know Aurora will be taken care of just as well as (or maybe even better than) if she were with me!”

“Tatyana took such great care of our dog, Archie. She was extremely communicative, shared lots of pictures and we felt that Archie was well taken care of. He seemed so happy, we almost got worried he wouldn't want to come back to us!! She was also well prepared with question about his care and really listened to us regarding what he likes and what he doesnt like. She was really accomodating and I would highly recommend her. She is now our exclusive go-to person for taking care of Archie. I just hope she's available when we need her! :)”

“Todd took great care of Sunny. He has a comfortable home and it was an exiting time for Sunny to meet new human friends and doggie friends. Todd made the effort to take Sunny on long walks in the park. I’m sure that made Sunny happy. I would highly recommend Todd as a sitter!”

“Eve and Sean were great in every respect, flexible when I confused the dates, sending nice pics of my dog while staying with them. Thank you so much, I know Haley loved being with you!”

“I do not know what Katherina could possibly do to make me a happier pet mom. She saved me at the very last minute; she gave the dogs (and cat) exceptional attention; and she is just so dang nice! The most telling thing to me about my dogs is when they are simultaneously happy to have me home, and show signs of not having missed me. Thank you Katherina!”

“Brandon and his whole family were taking great care of Amy, she got loads of cuddling and playing. We got photos regularly showing that she enjoyed her time there. And Amy had a great time with River (great dog company, a good girl). We will definitely book again!”

“Carolina was absolutely fantastic with my pup! I received numerous updates throughout and could see he was having such a fantastic time. Will definitely use again in the future!!”

“Shoham is excellent! She took great care of Bonnie, kept us constantly updated with pictures and videos daily. She has a safe fenced yard and is very understanding.”
