“Really appreciate Collin's flexibility and how well he was able to work with my pup. Was consistent with communication and understanding of any requests made. Will definitely choose Collin again!”

About: I’ve had two dogs and currently my family has a GSD! Additionally, I have fostered two cats. I understand all animals have different personalities and that’s what makes them special. I’m a medical school student so actually owning a pet is a little difficult but I would to help take care of yours from time to time! As a medical school student I would love to fit my time to help between my studies! I believe rover is perfect for that. Thank you! For cats - I can board them ! For dogs - I can take them for walks, I enjoy taking walks myself and if a dog can get some extra air - it’s a win win!
About: I have a few years of experience caring for my own reactive puppy, and I truly understand the love, attention, and exercise every pup needs. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and making sure they feel safe and happy. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll or an energetic adventure, I treat every dog as part of my family. I’m reliable, patient, caring, and committed to providing a relaxing and safe experience for your furry family members. I'm current working part-time so I have plenty of time walking your dogs. I’m available on weekday mornings and afternoons to help make your days a bit easier. When caring for dogs, I focus on making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I always take the time to understand each dog's unique personality and needs. Whether it’s giving them enough exercise, playtime, or quiet companionship, I make sure they get the right balance of fun and care. I pay close attention to their behavior and body language, and I’m patient, gentle, and reliable. My goal is to make every dog feel as happy and relaxed with me.
“Mila LOVED her! Like immediately! Never seen her respond so nicely within seconds to a stranger before. She could clearly sense Leticia’s good energy :) I appreciated that Leticia was available to walk her on such short notice. Mila came back tired (a sign of success) and clearly had a good walk.”

About: I've had cats and dogs my entire life and, for the first time, find myself without any pets. I have an abundance of ear scratches, belly rubs, and snuggles just waiting for pets who are missing their people. My husband and I both work from home with flexible schedules so are available for frequent potty breaks, walks, and playtime. We also have two children, 8 and 11, who both grew up with dogs and cats and are experienced and comfortable with both. Your pet will be the only one in our home, so they will get lots of attention, playtime, and snuggles! We have a big house that pets are free to explore and where they can make themselves at home. We also have an unfenced 3-acre backyard that connects to a path through the woods - your dog can enjoy a daily hike through the forest, smelling the many interesting smells and splashing in the creek if so desired. And we live on a cul-de-sac in a residential area perfect for safe neighborhood walks. “Carolina has been wonderful! She has been able to help us out in a pinch, and sends great pictures from her and Oakley’s walks. Would definitely recommend her services!”

“Very responsive and does a great job with my pup. Listens to any concerns that I may have, and follows through with any requests. Will definitely continue to work with Huan for any walking or sitting needs!”

“I needed someone to come for a drop-in and watch on pretty short notice. Jessica responded very quickly and was willing to come over the very same day for a meet and greet. She was very sweet with our dog and he immediately liked her. On the day of the drop-in she came exactly on time, took Comet for a nice walk and made sure he had a full bowl of water before she left. Very happy with Jessica's service and look forward to booking her again.”

“Sabina is friendly, caring, and energetic! She is great with dogs, and my pup had a fantastic time on his walk. He didn’t even look back as he left the house, was so excited to go with Sabina!”

“Pilar is amazing!! She is so friendly, kind, and positive - she is also a certified dog whisperer because my pup, who is normally very shy around strangers, loved her almost immediately. It was so awesome to see how he was always so happy to see her. I also really appreciated how professional and communicative Pilar was - I knew my pup was in capable hands and having a great walk every time!”

About: I have been dog sitting and walking since I was just a little girl, I had 3 pit-bulls who were all my world growing up . I’ve always had such a strong connection to dogs and will always try my best to bond with each and every one of them that I meet I am currently doing classes online for school during the summer therefore, I have much free time to dedicate it to the dogs I will meet. I recently had a fence built in my backyard for my Chihuahua. This was perfect for her because now she goes through her doggy door as she pleases.

About: I have over 6+ years of pet care experience. I have been consistently in contact with various families over the years, making lists and staying organized in order to ensure the furry friends receive each regulation according to the owners requirements. I have always had a deep love for animals, I ended up adopting my own puppy two years ago, one which I groom, trim his nails, clean his ears, brush his teeth, bathe and dematte. I am very familiar with the process of house sitting and pet sitting along with the general care of a pet. I am able to care for multiple animals and have a space with a fenced-in backyard. I will consistently update the owner, sending texts and photos throughout the job. My main priority is the owners happiness and the consideration for both the owners and animals needs. I am currently taking a year off before I go off to graduate school so I am a server on just a few days of the week (with a flexible schedule). I am available most full days and nights to watch pets. I care for the pet in any way the owner would like me to. I would consider myself highly experienced and responsible and hold myself to a standard of utmost care according to how the owner cares for their own pet. I would like the owner to feel comfortable that I can watch their pet in a manner that they prefer themselves.
“Kristin did a wonderful job taking care of our two girls! She was communicative and kind, and really got along with our girls and their friendly, boisterous personalities. We felt very comfortable having her take care of them, and definitely will be reaching out to have her back when we need someone!”

North Potomac dog parents share their Rover experiences
Monika was great with our senior pup. While Emily loves all people and animals, she is rather particular about her routine. Monika got Emily to go for a walk and take care of business, which can be tough for people Emily doesn't know. Monika was great with communication and I highly recommend her! Will reach out to her the next time we need a walker.

Katie has provided phenomenal care for Paige. She communicates well and is always prompt, reliable, and kind. She has been a godsend, not only with respect to affording me the ability to more easily adjust to new work schedules despite having to leave Paige at home, but also in enabling us to feel secure in knowing Paige is in incredibly competent and compassionate hands. Most importantly, Paige loves Katie. On several occasions, I have had to work from home but did not cancel the walks and observed Paige run to the front door when Katie comes in (she doesn’t even do that with me!). Thanks, Katie!
