About: I have had several dogs but do not currently have any pets. I have had to give medicine to dogs and lots of experience with puppy “accidents”. I’m a teacher, so during summer and breaks I have lots of free time. I have two boys, both of whom love animals. They would love to have a pet visit our home. I can only house-sit when I don’t have my children with me, but can board an animal anytime. Important to note that during the school year my Friday availability is evening only. I have a fenced yard. At my home, I can almost guarantee your dog or cat would get to sleep in a child’s bed and be loved like family. At your home, I would respect any rules you have set.

About: I currently work at a dog rescue. I volunteered as a dog washer at the humane society for a year. I pet sat relatives dogs in their home. I know how to respect dogs boundaries. Right now my schedule is somewhat flexible. I am available weekdays and weekends. I am unavailable on Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 4pm to 730pm. I am respectful of everyone’s home and treat it how I’d want a pet sitter to treat my own. I know the signs to take it slow with dogs and cats.

About: Since I was little I always have had a love for dogs. I used to walk to my neighbors house and ask to walk their dog, because I of how bad I wanted one. Once I got my dog, I feel in love right way. I love and know how to care for dogs of all sizes, and needs! I'm free all days of the week! Right now I am taking a NOVA summer class to get ahead, so I will need to allocate some time to that. But my class will end after the first week of July. I have a fenced backyard, so I let my dog go out when he wants while also watching him. Also my dog is very calm, and doesn't run off. So When he wants to sit in the front yard, I let him off the leash but I stay outside to make sure nothing happens.

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I’m currently a cat mom of two. I have experience working with pets who have medical conditions, including asthma and separation anxiety. I’m a teacher and a coach! I currently have very limited availability. I work from 8-4 so I have availability before and after those hours. I’m also available on weekends (the more notice - the better)! I love coming by and taking your furry friends on walks or staying for some snuggles! ❤️ I have an apartment with two cats who do not enjoy unwelcome guests, so I will not be able to bring guests into my apartment. About: I've been taken care of more than 50 dog breeds with great care and love. I have taken care of dogs all over my neighborhood for 5 years now and they all enjoy how flexible my time is and that I take great care of their dogs by feeding, walking, and washing their pets. I'm currently working a part-time at the airport, I am available to take care of your dog on Tuesday and Fridays. I am usually home most of the time drawing and excercising. So some time spent getting a walk or entertaining your pet can easilly fit in my schedule. I have a clean and spacious home. There is plenty space for your pet to walk around and explore my fenced backyard and open frontyard. Im very gentle and very capable of carrying large dogs. I used to own a small breed but he has passed due to time, so I currently dont own any pets at the moment. Im very active and caring with pets. I enjoy to have them roam free or hang out by my desk. I can run around with them too if they so desire.

About: I’m a teacher who is looking forward to working with pets! I have had my own dog for 10+ years and have taken care of other dogs as well! Neighbors, friends and families have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets! I am also an active dog sitter who lives near Algonkian Park! During the academic school year my availability is a little different, but my summer schedule is very flexible. I love spending time with my own dog and will take her out during various parts of the day if the weather allows. I firmly believe that pets are such important members of the family and giving them all the care and love is priority! When I care for pets, I make sure they are fed, taken outside on their daily walks and have some fun! When going on a walk, I make sure to carry a water, portable water bowl, bags and treats. I also check the temperature and make sure the heat index has not surpassed the recommended temperature for walking dogs. When feeding pets, I make sure to follow their feeding schedule and the amount recommended by their owner. I also check with the dog owner, if the pets have any allergies, medication or other health concerns. I ensure a safe, loving and welcoming space for each pet. My summer days are super flexible. I am also open to do super early walks, or late check-ins for dogs. My schedule during the day is open. I’m also available to housesit during the weekends. I try to update my calendar every two weeks. I treat any pet as my own pet. I ensure that they are comfortable, that they are fed, that they are also having fun and they feel safe. I know changes can sometimes cause pets to become anxious, and I want to ensure that while their human goes on trips, or is away, they are feeling like they are taken care of and feel safe!

About: I have foster dogs over 15 dogs from LCAS and WTAR, i also have more than 15 years of experience since i was a teen I work with autistic children over at loudoun county but since school is about to be over I have alot of flexibility for even lots of short walks! I do have daughters ages 12,10,8 who share the same love for animals as me. We love taking pictures and keeping you updated and rest assured your pet will certainly feel loved and spoiled!

About: Huge lover of dogs and puppies of all sizes and breeds! I grew up with family dogs and fostered dogs throughout college; it was a super rewarding and FUN experience. I’ve dealt with shy dogs, dogs with anxiety and pups as young as 6 weeks. Eventually I adopted my own and I can now say I’ve spent hours on end at dog parks. I am a happy owner of a 8 year old mix named Tucker and 4 year old golden retriever puppy named Skye. My husband and I as a team will both be responsible for your fur babies so you get 2 dog sitters for the price of 1! We would love to meet, care and play with your pup and I'm sure our dogs will too. Just to note: Tucker is weary with humans and will bark his head off the second he sees a PERSON he doesn’t know... but other than that, he has no problems with other dogs and would love to hang out with yours! My work schedule changes weekly based on my team's attendance that week, but typically I am in the office Mon-Thurs. On days I’m in the office, I’m gone from about 9am–4:30pm. We have a pet cam set up for when we are hosting other dogs so that we are able to monitor them sleeping on the couch all day. If your dog is house-trained and/or crate-trained and is comfortable being in a calm environment, they are welcome to come hang out with Tucker and Skye during the day! As soon as me or my husband are home from work, we’re back to playing, going on walks around the neighborhood, or heading to the dog park. On days I work from home, your pup will get tons of attention. There’s lots of playtime with my dogs and walks throughout the day. We live in a super dog-friendly area with plenty of walking paths and parks, so there’s always something to do. When your dog stays with me you can expect: 1. A team of 2 dog sitters for the price of 1! (my husband & I) 2. Lots of play with our two dogs 2. Walks around the neighborhood 3. Photo updates to show that you’re dog is happy, comfy and settling in okay! A couple things to note: 1. We have 2 dogs in the house currently (your dog must get along with other dogs). Both our dogs are typically low-key and just laze around with us, but they are also always ready to walk and play at all times. 2. We have a (small) fenced patio area out back for them to potty and be outside. They will have plenty of space inside and outside to play with each other, however, since we don't have a full yard, your dog(s) will join ours on our neighborhood walks.

About: I have been around pets my entire life. I have been taking care of neighbors and friends pets while they are away since childhood and have been a proud pet owner since adulthood. I would love to provide a positive and fun experience for your pet while you are away! I am a teacher but am preparing to go on summer break. I will have lots of free time to ensure that your pet receives copious amounts of love and attention. I always try to make sure that I follow any guidelines set by the owner. I make sure to give them multiple walks and feedings a day, and plenty of 1 on 1 play time and attention.

Please ask about lower rates for care needed close to my home, or other existing clients. I grew up with many cats (over many years), and a dog. We had several dogs in the neighborhood I would help and visit with, and have experience with horses and other animals of air, land and sea. I’ve been caring for dogs, cats and horses professionally for a little over three decades. I am self-employed and make my own schedule, so I’m busy, but flexible with enough notice or if there is a gap in my schedule. I have a big and friendly dog of my own who would want to stay with me if you require overnight dog or cat sitting, depending on how far you are from our home. My end-unit townhome backs up to the retention pond. I can see the walking trail that backs up to the forest from my deck. My small, fenced-in backyard opens up to a wheelchair accessible paver path. So ideal for older pets who need less/no stairs. I’ve cared for many elderly animals.
