Pet care is a flexible and fulfilling part of my daily routine throughout the summer. I currently have open mornings and evenings, with limited availability between 9-4pm.

I don’t offer boarding in my home, but I’m happy to care for pets in their own homes, where they feel most comfortable. When staying with a pet, I follow all care instructions closely whether that includes feeding schedules, medication, walks, playtime, or just keeping pets company. I always aim to maintain their normal routine and keep them happy and relaxed. I also make sure to keep your home tidy and provide regular updates, so you have peace of mind while you're away. I am currently not accepting any house sitting bookings, but would be more than happy to help with drop-in visits.

A typical day
I love keeping pets engaged and happy, so I always try to tailor the type and length of activities to their personality and energy level. For dogs, I like taking them on walks, playing fetch, or even practicing simple tricks if they’re up for it. For cats, I make time to play with their favorite toys like feather wands or laser pointers, and give lots of affection if they enjoy it.

Pet care experience
While I’ve never had a dog of my own, I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and energy levels. Family and friends have trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their dogs while they’re away, and I regularly join a friend on her dog-walking routines. I have only been using Rover for 2 summers now, but I love working with so many different pets while I am home from college! I’m comfortable with dogs of all energy levels, temperaments, and breeds -- I would love to care for your dog next :)

Alexandra is excellent! She is quick to respond and clearly communicates. Most importantly she is sweet and calm with my super energetic Golden. 10/10 would recommend.
Alexandra did a great job watching my cat who has pica! She was timely and followed the provided care instructions and shared pictures and updates every visit. She also let us know about the power outage and gave us updates so we could be sure our cat was doing okay during it. Nahla clearly enjoyed spending time with Alexandra, we will definitely hire her again in the future.
Alexandra is terrific. She walks my dog 3 mornings a week. She’s been prompt and has a positive attitude. My dog wags his tail when greeting her and comes back from his walk happy. Thank you, Alexandra!
