“Corinne was great with our boxer pup. She was very communicative and kept us updated with pictures. We felt at ease having to leave our dog for the day. I’ll definitely use her services in the future if needed.”

About: I've been a cat parent all my life, and all-around animal lover. Now, I have two dogs (Damon and Matcha) and two kitties at home, all rescues. About half the time, I also volunteer to foster puppies that need homes, so I'm very experienced with dogs of all ages. Serving the Sterling area; I live across the street from Claude Moore park and love to explore the trails with four-legged friends. Summertime makes for the most gorgeous pictures, and I love capturing your fur babies on camera! I love all breeds, especially if they have good manners, but larger and more playful dogs will have the best time playing with my 3-year-old dog, Matcha. Caring for fur-babies is currently my full-time job, whether that's customers, fosters, or my own brood. I love all size dogs and cats! Most of the time, when I come into your home, your animals will let me know what their routine is! But specific instructions will help me out a lot too and are always appreciated.
“Jillian is wonderful! She communicates with us clearly, arrives on time, and is super friendly. Our Ladybug is not the easiest dog to walk, but Jillian has been incredibly patient with her. Ladybug adores her and gets excited as soon as Jillian arrives. We are very happy with Jillian's service and would definitely book her again :)”

“Marcia does a fantastic job with my dog! He really enjoys his time with her. I love that I get photos from her of his walk and the details of her visit. Marcia has really saved me!”

About: Hi my name is Mackenzie, I would love to provide your fur baby with a comfortable, loving stay. I have one pitbull mix and 3 cats of my own. I have never met a pet that I haven’t gotten along with! I’ve grown up with pets in my home my whole life. I also used to have (he crossed the rainbow bridge) a paralyzed dachshund. I have experience with high energy dogs, strong dogs, temperamental cats - dogs and cats big and small. I understand what it’s like to have someone take care of of your babies, so I am very responsive and would be happy to send you pictures and updates. My dog, Monty loves to play, but also has awareness to know when a dog doesn’t want to interact. I’ve pet sat for tons of family and friends in the past, so I’d be thrilled to add your pet(s) to that list. I work remotely and have a full-time job. Most of my meetings are pre-planned so I have a good sense of my day and when walks can happen. Since I work from home, I’m able to provide love throughout the whole day. I have a small fenced in patio area that has a patch of soil and 2 fake grass pee mats for any urgent potty needs. I will always supervise outside while they are outside. I live in a town home, so I can easily separate my pets from yours if need be, but all of my pets are very friendly. I’m very thorough and take notes to make sure I get your fur baby’s needs exactly as they need them.
“Nic and his wife Carmen were great on their walk with Scuba. He’s a young and mouthy puppy and tries to eat everything during walks. They handled him with care and he seems to have enjoyed his walk. I’d recommend them!”

“Ashley has been walking our dog for several months. She is very communicative, reliable, and great with our dog. He loves her! We would highly recommend her for dog walker.”

About: My dream since I was little was to have a dog, finally me and my brother put aside some money and bought the most handsome young puppy ever and we named him apollo. unfortunately as my brother got older he had to move away for work and didn’t want to be lonely so he took apollo with him. I get to visit here and there but always find myself missing that adorable responsibility. I hope I can help families with anything when it comes time to care for there dogs because when with me, I’ll make them feel at home I work part time and have online classes. I’m usually at home and have time to care for dogs and will dedicate time for them I have a very pet friendly neighborhood as well as a backyard that is fenced and will make sure the dog is always within a close proximity to me
“Amazing dog walker! She was reliable, professional, and took great care of my dogs. They absolutely loved her and were always excited to see her. I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in good hands. I would hire her again anytime and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker!”

“Manasa is amazing with our pups. From weekly walks to overnight care, she continually sees they are well cared for and happy. We completely trust her and she’s amazing with both small and larger dogs ( we have both!)”

“Katherine is incredibly sweet, kind, and dependable. She was able to meet my dog and take her for a walk on very short notice, which I greatly appreciated. She arrived on time, asked thoughtful questions about my dog’s care, and carefully followed all instructions. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the pets she works with. We are very happy to have her as our regular sitter and highly recommend her!”

About: I use Reiki and massage when animals and their humans are accepting of it. My rates are built to service a wider geographical area. Please ask about lower rates for care needed close to my home, or other existing clients. I grew up with many cats (over many years), and a dog. We had several dogs in the neighborhood I would help and visit with, and have experience with horses and other animals of air, land and sea. I’ve been caring for dogs, cats and horses professionally for about 25 years. I am self-employed and make my own schedule, so I’m busy, but flexible with enough notice or if there is a gap in my schedule. I have a big and friendly dog of my own who would want to stay with me if you require overnight dog or cat sitting, depending on how far you are from our home. My end-unit townhome backs up to the retention pond. I can see the walking trail that backs up to the forest from my deck. My small fenced in backyard opens up to a wheelchair accessible paver path. So ideal for older pets who need less/no stairs. I’ve cared for many elderly animals.

Skyler was wonderful with my dog, Cooper! She was very responsive, sent lots of pictures and updates during the visit, and made sure he got his evening medication. I would absolutely book with Skyler again and highly recommend her!

Claire has been wonderful to work with! She came by the day before for a site visit to meet my dog, which I really appreciated. She took the time to ask thoughtful questions, learn about my dog’s routine, and make sure she understood his needs. Communication has been excellent from the start, and she’s been incredibly flexible and accommodating. Her professionalism and attention to detail gave me peace of mind, and I feel confident knowing my dog will be in great hands. I’m looking forward to using her dog walking services and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker. Thanks, Claire! 🐾😊

We never expected to have such a responsible and timely dog walker by the name of Daniel. We had no prior experience in this. From the initial meeting-interview, we felt very comfortable and confident in him. Daniel was very responsible and punctual, gave us detailed, hands-on updates, and most importantly, our dog loved him. We look forward to hiring Daniel every time we go away. We would strongly recommend Daniel to others.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
