About: My name is Laryssa and I am new on the sitter side of Rover. I am extremely reliable, caring and would treat your pets like my own while you are away! From experience, I know how hard it can be to leave your pets and will provide updates so you can ensure your fur babies are in good hands! A little about me I am a longtime dog owner and have had my Norwegian Elkhound mix for 10 years. She is now almost 12, I have experienced the puppy years, the energetic years, and all the little changes that come with caring for a dog as they get older. I also have experience with dogs from other family and friends that I would care for while they were away. About: I have been around pets my whole life, I used to dog sit for a friend at a young age. As I got older I then would dog sit for another friend and her aunt who's dogs were 11 and 5. I would walk them, feed them, play with them and spend the night, longest I've sat for in one sitting was a week. I continued to dog sit for the same people on a off for a while. I also help take care of my mother in law's dogs who are 11 and 12. Same thing walking, feeding, I would also change their dippers as they both have bladder issues. I am very good at following any directions given, the 12 year old dog has a very strict diet that I have to follow. I currently work a part time job I am a hairstylist who loves animals. I'm open availablity is Monday through Thursday, hours 8am-6pm. I have two cats that I love, feeding them, playing with them taking them out on our balcony for fresh air. For dogs that I currently sit getting up early to walk and feed them, play with them during the day so they don't get bored walking them consistently throughout the day and taking care of special diets.

About: I took care of my black lab for 8 years, including feeding, giving medications, bathing and walking. I raised my cat from 6 weeks forward, cleaning litter boxes, feeding, giving attention to/playing with, and giving any medicines needed. I currently have a 4 and 5 year old cat. I also regularly volunteered at the cat Cafe in Murfreesboro, TN before I relocated to the area. There I was responsible for playing with the cats, feeding them and cleaning litter boxes. I have worked at an animal hospital where I have gained knowledge about medical situations and some medication giving. I am also a professional toy fixer! Isabel is a WONDERFUL human being, and Brody absolutely loved her visit and walk around the neighborhood. Isabel had an early 7am request to walk Brody and she was right on time. From the pictures I could see that Brody's body language was happy and relaxed. Isabel even spent extra time on her walk with Brody and refilled his water and food upon her return. Isabel was very communicative through the Rover app on how Brody was doing while we were away and she provided lots of pictures. Logan was fantastic with our golden retriever! Walks were long when the weather allowed and otherwise he spent some play time with him inside. He was timely, kept in touch, and administered meds as asked. It was such a wonderful peace of mind having him take care of our pup!

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
