About: My name is Laryssa and I am new on the sitter side of Rover. I am extremely reliable, caring and would treat your pets like my own while you are away! From experience, I know how hard it can be to leave your pets and will provide updates so you can ensure your fur babies are in good hands! A little about me I am a longtime dog owner and have had my Norwegian Elkhound mix for 10 years. She is now almost 12, I have experienced the puppy years, the energetic years, and all the little changes that come with caring for a dog as they get older. I also have experience with dogs from other family and friends that I would care for while they were away. I also currently have two tabby cats and I grew up with cats my whole life so I would be comfortable with both cats and dogs. I currently work from home full time so my schedule is flexible. I have animals myself so I am used to breaking up my work day. Unfortunately I am unable to board animals with my dog since she gets jealous of me giving attention to someone outside of her. Summer Hours Update: I am available anytime during the summer! I’m not limited to my school schedule until August 10th, 2026 I’m looking to make some new furry friends! I teach elementary school, so I’m up early and at work by 7am, and out of work by 3:00. I’m available most weekdays for walks and visits 3-10 pm. I also am available most weekends all day! I will take care of your pet as I would my own! I am available to come to your home, and when I am caring for your pets I will give them extra time and attention. My drop-in visits are usually at least an hour, especially if there are more than just one pet. Our cat prefers to be a consistent Only Child, so bringing your pet to my house is unfortunately not an option currently. Isabel is a WONDERFUL human being, and Brody absolutely loved her visit and walk around the neighborhood. Isabel had an early 7am request to walk Brody and she was right on time. From the pictures I could see that Brody's body language was happy and relaxed. Isabel even spent extra time on her walk with Brody and refilled his water and food upon her return. Isabel was very communicative through the Rover app on how Brody was doing while we were away and she provided lots of pictures. Isabel is responsible, dependable, arrives on time, and we felt Brody was in very good hands. We will definitely book Isabel again.
Logan was fantastic with our golden retriever! Walks were long when the weather allowed and otherwise he spent some play time with him inside. He was timely, kept in touch, and administered meds as asked. It was such a wonderful peace of mind having him take care of our pup!
