“One couldn’t ask for better care! Erin was so sweet with our older dog and knew just what she needed to keep her spirits up while we were away. Not only was our dog at ease but so were we. Erin provided such wonderful updates and pictures that allowed our family such peace of mind. Not only is she very attentive to the needs of the job but does so with such thought and compassion!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs of all kinds and love being active with them or just giving them some love regardless of if they’re a puppy or a senior!! I work mornings 6am-11am Monday-Friday I don’t work on weekends!! After work during the week I’m completely free during the rest of the day! I have a very friendly golden retriever who loves playing with other dogs! My apartment complex has a large fenced dog park with lots of fun obstacles
“The most thorough and communicative professional dog sitter/walker we’ve ever had. Jenna is detailed, thorough, and maintains clear communication when we can’t be home with our babies. Highly recommended!”

“Kally has been so great with Aurie! She keeps her word, and takes such great care of her. We have been very happy with her services and will definitely use her again.”

“Angels is absolutely amazing with our dogs. Our youngest is a rescue and requires more exercise and socialization and Angela is helping our family so much. She is responsive and her notes from each visit are exactly what we needed to be kept at ease and encouraged by the entire process. It was hard to admit we needed outside help, but we are so thankful we did AND that we found Angela!”

“Heather was amazing with our dog! He looked like the happiest guy in the photo Heather shared and I know that is a direct result of her awesome care. Heather, I truly appreciate you taking care of our little guy! ❤️”

About: Have only had 9 months total of my life without a dog or a pack of them by my side. Your fur baby will be fostered as one of my own; their walk, run, or potty break is all about them! With guidance from you, we will move at their pace. If they want to go for a run... then we run! If they prefer to walk tree to tree and smell every flower, that's fine too! I am available early mornings and mid-days during the week. I also have availability nightly to check on the pups and make sure they're ready for bed. I look forward to meeting the needs of your family, if it be walking or running the dogs, or making sure they are comfortable in your home, just let me know. I am fortunate enough to have a remote role, so my schedule is usually set to my own dog's needs. I am by no means a gym rat or a marathon runner. Yet that doesn't stop me from getting in usually 2-6 miles a day, both walking and running. While my dog is crate trained, it would be great if yours is as well, for those few errands that may take me away for up to 4 hours at a time (a busy week would be 3 half days in the office)
“Nic and his wife Carmen were great on their walk with Scuba. He’s a young and mouthy puppy and tries to eat everything during walks. They handled him with care and he seems to have enjoyed his walk. I’d recommend them!”

About: I grew up around animals all my life. Anything from reptiles to cows and horses. I love them all and treat them like my own. I can be out going and go on long walks or I’m perfectly comfortable having a cuddle buddy inside. Also a pretty good treat giver and belly rubs. I also took a vocational veterinary science class and can recognize illnesses and injuries and treat if able to. Have no issues staying overnight making sure animals get what they need wether it be potty breaks at midnight or just keeping them company. I will treat each animal like they were my own. I’m good at keeping owners in the loop and I will gladly give updates if needed through the day. I work as a PRN in healthcare so I work my schedule around when guest pups are going to be here for a while. My fiance is a great help and well educated on the pups that are in our home as well so if for any reason I’m not home he’s able to keep watch. I have a fully fenced in back yard and a super sweet dog to keep your pup company and to play with throughout the day. I can also crate your pups(s) if needed to help make sure they do not get into anything that they are not supposed when unsupervised.

I also regularly volunteered at the cat Cafe in Murfreesboro, TN before I relocated to the area. There I was responsible for playing with the cats, feeding them and cleaning litter boxes. I have worked at an animal hospital where I have gained knowledge about medical situations and some medication giving. I am also a professional toy fixer! About: Hi! My name is McCall, and I love being around animals, particularly dogs:) I have been around animals my entire life and understand they're not just pets but a part of the family! I had five West Highland Terriers (Westies) and, as of recently, a Bernese Mountain dog. I moved away from my Bernese Mountain Dog and miss time being with dogs. I have 6+ years of experience in dog sitting, dog walking, and boarding. I have watched small, medium, and large sized dogs. I promise to treat your dog with endless care and belly rubs! I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule. I choose my hours to work so I can fully accommodate to your schedule and dog's needs. I live a few blocks from Tompkins Square Park, which has two dog parks- one for small dogs and one for bigger dogs. I like to take dogs on long walks and to parks to play if they are active, but can also rest and relax for dogs with less energy! I can also travel to your apartment to dog sit and take on walks. I am fully remote and chose my own hours. I am extremely flexible and can accommodate to your needs. I am able to take your dog on numerous walks as well as travel during the day to your apartment/home! I live in a first-floor walk-up apartment. I am home most of the time, so your dog will always have company. I am also very attentive, so let me know if your dog has any specific needs, allergies, or medications. Or if there is anything they are scared of or don't like. I will also send many pictures of your furry friends because I know how hard it can be to be away from them!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
