“Jaida was exceptional. She is warm and professional. She took care of my cat Louie the way I wanted, and she took some super incredible pictures of Louie too!! I will definitely reach out to her again!”

“Thank you so much for taking care of Martha while we were away! All of your detailed visit reports and photos were so wonderful to receive every day. We know Martha is not the friendliest cat, so we really appreciate the care you took with her. We felt so comforted the whole time we were gone knowing that she was in good hands. Thank you so much again!”

“Victoria was great! She followed my instructions well and showed attention to my two boys last weekend and these past two days. I will definitely use Victoria again!!”

“Lexi did an amazing job taking care of both my dogs. She communicates very well and is very trustworthy. It’s a great peace of mind knowing that there’s a caretaker who loves, treats, and cares for the animal. Will definitely be using her services again and highly recommending to all my friends with pets.”
“Kalpana is fantastic and we highly recommend her. She is attentive, responsible and quick to respond to messages. We had some items to clarify with her, and she was very quick to understand our needs. We plan to use Kalpana longer term and are very glad she is so local to us! Thanks, Kalpana!”

“Francisca is so patient and kind with my nervous sight-impaired senior dog! We have tried out a few sitters before finding Francisca and I'm so grateful to have her as a trusted resource for Enzo's weekly walks. Highly recommend!”

About: I love all animals! I myself have a 13-year-old golden lab and a 10-year old cat! I do not have training experience as I adopted my dog when she was fully grown but I do have quite a bit of patience! I’m currently 21 and I’ve been watching pets for family & friends since I was 16! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, i grew up with dachshunds! I’m excited to meet your pets and love them like my own! I’m currently home visiting family for the summer and love animals so I decided this would make an amazing summer job! I’m available Monday - Thursday 10AM-10PM! I do reserve weekends for time with family but might be able to make exceptions based on plans! as an owner myself of both a cat and dog I am very cautious and observant! If you have a yard I’m always sure to check that the gate is closed, doors to the outside are never left open, and on walks I make sure to always keep a tight grip on the leash! any questions or concerns I have I’m quick to text or call the owner and ask questions, it’s always better safe than sorry! any specific instructions I’m given I’m sure to follow completly!
“Kiah is great! This is my second time using her and my cat Heidi loves her. She shows up on time and is very responsive. I never worry about leaving my cat when I know Kiah is checking in on her. I will definitely use her again.”

“Jenna was great! She graciously agreed to coming over to let our dog out plus my daughter and son-in-laws three dogs while we were away for the day. Our dog has very good intuition about strangers, and you could very much tell she loved Jenna from the pictures that were sent. I will definitely book again!”

“Helen was kind enough to come in advance and meet our dog and see the set-up. She was flexible and communicative during the sessions and provided detailed updates about how our dog was doing throughout our time away. We will definitely use Helen again when we need a walker for our dog and would recommend her to friends and family.”

“As always, Kirstin was the best! She gives us great peace of mind when we are away. Our pets love her and we feel confident leaving them in her care. She goes above and beyond, even keeping an eye on the house while we are away. We plan to always use her from now on!”
About: I know how hard it can be to find someone trustworthy to watch/walk your pets when needed, that’s where I come in! I always grew up family dogs and now have two dogs of my own. My husband and I have a tiny mini dachshund named Biscuit, and a big rescue dog named Haze! I spend time volunteering at the animal shelter spending time with dogs and caring for cats (cleaning their kennels, providing food/water, giving them supplements if needed, etc…). I love animals of every kind and would love to help you out ♥️ I am self employed and work from home, so my schedule is very flexible, luckily this makes it easy to work around scheduling needs you may have! I always treat any pet/animal as I do my own! From daily walks to playtime to any chill time in between, they will always be in good hands.
About: As a former owner of two cats, 4 birds and several fish, I've been a family care professional, off and on, for over 13 years. I have excellent ratings and reviews on Trusted House sitters. My goal is to make you feel confident that your home and pets are safe and cared for so you can enjoy a stress and worry-free time away. Included in my service are pet greeting, walking, play, feeding and administering base-line medication, light grooming (comb/brush, nail trimming for cats and small to medium dogs). I also take care of light dish washing/sweeping, as well as vacuuming common areas, plant watering, trash and recycling removal, and light organizing. When you return home, you will feel a sense of relief to reunite with happy pets in a calm, clean, and welcoming environment. I currently work part-time and run a fledgling business from home. I'm off two days a week and the rest of the week I get off work at 4PM or earlier depending on the day. My style of care is patient, calm, and relaxed. Having that kind of energy makes families and pets more at ease. I follow written instructions and offer follow-up communication as the home/pet owners request.
“We're sure you know how hard it is to find the right person to take care of your pets, and when you do, you don't want to let the secret out. So, we selfishly don't want to leave this great review for Libby, but she deserves it too much not to post... We had to leave our dogs back-to-back twice for over a week each time, and Libby was amazing with our dogs. Usually when we leave our dogs even for one week, we come home and our big rescue has licked herself bald in several places and our wheaten is so depressed he won't come out of his crate. Whatever Libby does to take care of our pups, keeps them happy and healthy! Of course our dogs are excited when we come home, but more importantly, they are healthy, happy and well adjusted! Even after these back-to-back trips, our rescue still has all of her fur and her loving disposition, and our wheaten is as happy and hoppy as always. We cannot recommend Libby enough! She is so easy to work and coordinate with and wonderful with our dogs (we didn't even mention that our dogs present extra challenges, because they have to be kept separated at all times, or they will fight - and Libby handles that beautifully too)! She is reliable, loving and wonderful! We only hope you haven't booked her the next time we need help with our dogs!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Leesburg
Krystal was absolutely wonderful with our cat Daisy, and we couldn’t have been happier with the care she provided. From the very first visit, we were so impressed with how prepared, thoughtful, and attentive she was. Daisy warmed up to her right away, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Krystal did an amazing job with Daisy’s injections and handled everything with such care and confidence. She was also incredibly easy to communicate with, kept us updated, and clearly genuinely cared about Daisy’s well-being. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and would absolutely book with her again. We highly recommend Krystal to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and professional pet sitter!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Leesburg. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
