About: For years, I've walked the fields and trails along the Potomac River with a furry companion - most recently with Flannery, my family's Great Pyrenees who loved romping in Virginia Bluebell flowers and sinking her paws into mud. Animals have always been a part of my life. I've mucked stalls, herded ewes and lambs, evaded headbutting rams, cuddled pigs, milked goats, trimmed hooves, and named a farm dynasty of cats and kittens names like "Nefertiti" and "Isosceles" (after Egyptian royalty and geometry terms). Ella got a great big home with fenced backyard, which Bruno felt home as soon as he entered the home. We talked and learned about each other and dropped Bruno with Ella next day. About: Hi! I’m a work-from-home mom of three amazing boys, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm, so being around animals wasn’t just a hobby — it was a way of life. I’ve owned pets my entire life and have also fostered many dogs over the years, so my boys have grown up learning how to properly handle, respect, and love animals. We recently lost our sweet dog last year and are taking a little break from owning one, but our home feels happiest with paws around. Dog sitting allows us to share that love while giving your pup the attention and care they deserve. Because I work from home full time, your dog will rarely be alone and will get plenty of supervision, affection, and companionship throughout the day. We have a large single-family home with lots of space to relax. There’s a large fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, as well as a spacious front yard — but please know your dog will never be outside unsupervised. In our home, dogs are family. They’re welcome on the couch and even in the bed for snuggles at night if that’s what they’re used to. My boys love giving extra attention, playtime, and belly rubs — always guided by what your dog is comfortable with. About: Hi all! I am interested in doing some petsitting to find some dog friends for my pup. I am not a full-time dog sitter, however, I'd like to find some more dogs that my dog will play with & hopefully build some puppy friendships. I live in Leesburg and WFH. I work from home & my dog is cage free all day. We usually do a longer walk in the mornings (between 6-7am) and play outside when it's cooler, then a short walk around lunch time, and another walk around sunset. Bedtime is around 9:30 in our house. Ideally I'd like to find other low-medium energy dogs that play well with my dog and can be trusted to free roam/play around my townhouse while I work. About: I'll love them like their my own. I'm new to Rover but I've helped friends, family and neighbors care for their fur babies for the last 30 years or so. I grew up with Old English sheepdog but love all animals. My friends joke that I can't go anywhere without meeting a new dog friend.
