I can bring them out on morning and noon for a small walk. And can walk them longer after work. I live in a house with a yard( not fenced). I have two cats and a dog. My dog loves play with other dogs. Also cats and dogs can be isolated.

This past year, my sister and her family(oakton) raised a black lab puppy for the guiding eyes program. Luckily, I was able to spend a good chunk of time in Virginia and got to interact with that wonderful dog, Eliza. We are now scheduled to do it again this fall with a new puppy named Charity. I will get to be more hands-on and participate in the trainings now that I am in Virginia full-time! I have also housesit for several of her neighbors in the Oakton Vale area as I often have come for visits, lasting several weeks or months. For the past several years, I’ve had the pleasure of adding to my skills by taking care of a 10 acre property in the Santa Cruz mountains. I’m responsible for 2 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a chicken coop!! The owner is a retired Cal Fire Captain and current southwest flight attendant, who along with his wife are thrilled with my work ethic and commitment to their property and animals. They can now travel for several weeks in their RV or hop on a flight knowing that I have everything under control. I do take care of their property several times a year, but they are not on the Rover platform. after spending several years at their property, I now take care of a little mini farm. That includes a large flock of chickens and ducks, many goats, a couple of barn, cats, and a beehive. I also babysit for their young girls aged 9 and 10. Additionally, I have assisted the homeowner when they’ve had workshops on the property, the most recent workshops focused on making butter and on baking bread. I always feel honored to be of service in all my endeavors. I enjoy meeting new folks and their pets, taking walks in new neighborhoods or parks and spending quality time with animals. Someone is always around and working from home between mom, dad or our 2 college students so even last minute "going to happy hour" requests can be accommodated. We would love to meet you and your furry family! We're available on most days and times and can be flexible to meet your pet's needs. Last minute need or emergency? No problem! I can work to fit you in and have a backup team (aka college-age kids) who love pets as much as I do! We treat yours like ours - like Family! Your pet's comfort and happiness is most important. Once we get to know each other, we can have nice walks with some play and/or snuggle time - whatever they need! We only take one pet at a time for in-home services like boarding and doggie daycare and integrate them into our home. We even have a doggie door into a fenced yard but I prefer to do potty breaks/ walks as needed. I'm comfortable administering medications as prescribed and understand that every dog come with their own routine and special needs.
