If you have a fur baby that needs some exercise or company, my beagle and I would love to meet them for either a casual stroll through a neighborhood, a trail walk through the woods, or even for short visits to dog parks followed by soapy baths. Let me know what your pet needs are and I am happy to accommodate. On weekdays, I am available 3-7:30 most afternoons. If I am going to your home and your home happens to be near my work place, I may also occasionally be able to pop in for a short visit 9:45-10:30. At my home: Your dog has options. I have a puppy proofed kitchen that has access to a dog door with a fenced in yard. This space is separated from the rest of my home via a doggy gate and is a wonderful space where I leave my pup to play during the day while I am at work. This space has continual access to water, dog beds, toys, and the fenced in yard. Additionally, if there is a fur friend that is in need of a more private secluded space, I also have 2 medium dog crates with soft blankets and chewies. The crates will limit your pups interactions and protect them while I am away from the household for work. When I am home, the dogs will be with me throughout my entire house, they will be brought on walks, fun outdoor adventures, played with, fed, pet, they can sleep in the bed or on the floors, and they can be bathed if necessary. We can even take car rides to go out on fun hikes if you are interested in your dog having access to opportunities like that (they are our favorite.) They will continually have a beagle playmate happy to have companionship. Cats will have a secluded room to stay in, as they are often more sensitive to new spaces, and they will get plenty of snuggles and affection each day in their own private room. At your home: I will arrive in the afternoons with my beagle to play with your pups and to go on walking adventures. I can follow whatever particular protocols you have in place for your dogs, their food/med routines, etc. We will play together and spend time outside on adventures. I can take your pup with me in my car to go on hikes or we can keep the visit completely local. For cats, my dog will not come with me and I will enter the home to address whatever needs your cat may have, whether it be cleaning litter boxes or giving cans of wet food.

Now since I am older I have a cat and two dogs myself.It’s always been hard for me to find someone I trust to care for my pets, nothing better than having someone competent and detailed caring for my pet so I don’t have to worry while I’m away. My name is Carmen and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and if you are familiar with people from LA, you know we LOVE ALL animals. I grew up with a big family who loves animals and since I can remember we’ve always had pets at home. Back in LA we have 4 dogs, 1 turtle and now added to that 5 love birds! Anyways, I no longer live there and moved to the east coast with my partner about 2 years ago. Our new home now houses just 2 cats. One of them is a tabby cat who is 6 years old named Blinchik. He is a very outgoing cat that loves everyone and everything. My other cat is named Nala (Siamese/Tabby) and she is quite the opposite from Blinny boy. She loves to keep to herself and takes a while to trust anyone but once she is warmed up you can see her beautiful shy personality. I used to be a nanny which also meant I took care of their pets as well. I have lots experience taking care of other families pets as well as administering medications when needed. Since I’ve been a dog and cat mom, I treat other families pets like they are my own. I’m currently in grad school to become a Speech-Language Pathologist which gives me a lot of extra time to take care of your fur babies 🩷 I’m currently in my graduate program to become a Speech-Language Pathologist. We can't say enough good things about Erin! She took wonderful care of our two cats, Mira and Bella, while we were away. Mira is very skittish and usually hides from new people, but Erin was so patient with her. She coaxed her out with treats and wet food and read able to earn her trust. That meant a lot to us, since we know Mira can be hard to win over. Bella, on the other hand, is always hungry, and Erin kept her happy and kept an eye on the feeder hopper and let Bella know it was almost dinner time. Erin also gave Bella her pill with only a little protest from Bella, which was a big relief. Beyond the cats, Erin was on top of everything around the house. She kept the litter boxes and surrounding area clean, brought in the newspaper, took care of the trash can, and watered our plants. We came home to a tidy house and two content, relaxed cats. Though they were very happy to see us. Erin was also a great communicator. She kept us updated throughout our trip, so we never had to wonder how things were going. It's hard to leave your pets, but Erin gave us total peace of mind. We'd absolutely book Erin again and highly recommend her to any cat owner, especially if you have a shy cat who needs a little extra patience!

Valerie is amazing! She was incredibly kind and caring with our kitties, took wonderful care of them, and even went above and beyond by helping with a few extra tasks while we were away. For example, she brought in the many packages we received during our trip, which was extremely helpful. She provided lots of pictures of our kitties during every visit, including photos of their food station and litter boxes, so we could see that everything was clean, neat, and well cared for. We could also tell that the kitties really loved her! They are usually very shy and don’t warm up to new people quickly, so seeing how comfortable they were with Valerie meant so much to us. We are extremely happy with her care and truly appreciate all the help, kindness, and attention Valerie provided. She did an excellent job, and we would absolutely recommend her!

Lena was very thoughtful while dropping in on my little guy while I was away for the week. While I was away she even kept an eye on a hygrometer I'd set up just before leaving to make sure the dehumidifier I'd been using didn't over dry the air, and kept actively in communication.
