About: I have had several dogs but do not currently have any pets. I have had to give medicine to dogs and lots of experience with puppy “accidents”. I’m a teacher, so during summer and breaks I have lots of free time. I have two boys, both of whom love animals. They would love to have a pet visit our home. I can only house-sit when I don’t have my children with me, but can board an animal anytime. Important to note that during the school year my Friday availability is evening only. I have a fenced yard. At my home, I can almost guarantee your dog or cat would get to sleep in a child’s bed and be loved like family. At your home, I would respect any rules you have set.

About: I have experience training, socializing and exercising large breed dogs and currently own a large German Shepherd. While you're out of the house, I will ensure your pet is safe, loved and in good hands! I am patient, observant and consistent. Behavioral issues? I know how to navigate it! Detailed regimes? I have the time! Specific routines to get your pet to bed or to eat? I get it! While everyone says they love dogs, I mean it more than they do, I'll treat your pet like they're my own. I accommodate all pups and personalities! I currently work in DC (with telework options) and am fully available after 4:30pm Monday - Friday with plenty of flexibility on the weekends. Let me know if/when you are going out of town and I can accommodate your schedule! I have a dog friendly home with a 6ft tall, fully fenced in backyard and a dog-friendly companion (Oakley). I also have toys, training treats, pet sleeping options and crate options (if needed).

June was a reliable and trustworthy caregiver for our 2 cats for 6 days. They're shy and didn't warm up to a stranger in that short time but we never worried about them or our home; the cats were fed and clean and safe, we received daily photos and reports, and June even cleaned one cat's throw-up from a rug and called us in real time when one cat was hiding (he promptly showed himself the next day). Chelsea was great with taking care of our two cats again! She communicated any schedule conflicts with us before confirming the booking, was adaptable with new care instructions, was very accommodating with us when our travel plans changed, and even brought in our trash cans for us! Lindsey did a great job, taking care of our dog and cats! We contacted her on short notice and she came and did a meet and greet and understood what we needed done. When we arrived home we had a happy pup, who had received his meditations, and cats who didn’t care that we left or came home.😂
Vigneshwaran really goes above and beyond to make sure our cats are taken care of! He makes sure our cats have everything they need and plenty of love, in addition to providing plenty of photo and video updates. We always know our cats are in good hands when we go away!
Carleigh stopped in to check on my cats for a week while we were out of town. She was very calm and let the cats come to her during the meet and greet and they were quick to get comfortable with her which was such a relief as cat parents. She sent daily report cards and was super responsive. We’ll definitely use her again next time we’re out of town!
Marcia did an amazing job watching my 2 cats while I was away for a weekend. She shared a lot of pictures showing them getting playtime, being fed, litterbox status, and water bowl status, and also videos. She also made time very quickly to accommodate my last minute request so we were able to have a meet and greet beforehand. Marcia was very prompt and showed up on time for every scheduled drop-in, and followed instructions to a "T". She was also kind enough to bring packages in without being asked, so they didn't sit out while I was gone.
I will definitely request Rasha the next time i need pet care. At our first meeting my dog jumped right next to her on the sofa as if she knew her! This first experience with Rasha caring for my cat was so reassuring. She provided pictures of Bari with each visit. I really appreciated those pictures and could see that Bari was being well taken care of by Rasha. Accompanying the pictures were little bits of information about how was acting or eating. He was welcoming to her visits! I’m very pleased with her care and trust her judgment with my pets. I will definitely contact Rasha to care for my pets when needed.
