About: I’ve had pets around my home since I was five years old and my family adopted my cats Rex and Sally, a bonded brother/sister pair. From that young age I was always expected and taught to help with the pets’ care, even the less glamorous parts. Later in my life we adopted my dog, Bella, who I diligently made sure got her daily walks, play, and food. While Rex and Sally have unfortunately passed (Sally in 2018 and Rex in 2025 at the age of 21), I currently still have two lovely kitties, both of which have very different personalities (one is very affectionate and the other is skittish), and I always ensure to accommodate the both of them and their unique needs for their boundaries. I work part time and am also a student, so my main availability is mornings and late afternoons/evenings. Though, my schedule often works out that I have plenty of hours to take care of furry friends! At my house I have plenty of toys and stimulation set up for my two cats, and it’s the same when I’m visiting my dog (she currently lives out of state with my dad). I always make sure to learn a pet’s individual personality and cater how I care for them to it! I know some animals absolutely adore a high level of energy, while others respond better to calmness, and I’m always sure to factor that in for whatever I’m doing for them.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and I also own one myself, so I’m very experienced and comfortable taking care of yours. Available Monday through Friday before 2:00 PM and for overnight stays. I’m very flexible, so if you need a specific hour, just reach out and we can work it out! We have a fenced backyard and plenty of toys, plus a fluffy carpet and couches where they’re welcome to lounge. My dog is very independent and likes his own space, so he won't bother yours. If your dog wants to play, he's happy to join in.

About: I currently work part-time about four days a week, usually from 9–3 or 10–3, and my work hours are fairly flexible as well. Outside of those hours, my schedule is pretty flexible and I have plenty of availability for cat sitting, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight stays. Cats are creatures of routine, so whenever possible, I recommend having them cared for in their own home while their owners are away. When I’m caring for your cat, I try to keep their routine as normal and consistent as possible. I’ll follow any instructions you leave for feeding, litter, medications, playtime, and anything else that’s part of their normal day. I’ll respect your cat’s space and let them decide how much interaction they’re comfortable with rather than forcing attention. About: I was introduced to dogs during my early childhood; I would always have at least 3 of them at a time. While I do not yet have a dog of my own, I’ve spent countless hours volunteering at animal shelters bathing dogs/puppies, cleaning up their environment, feeding and playing with them, walking them, and just keeping them company! She is typically very shy, but when Clay came over to meet her for the first time, she was immediately smitten with him. She just wanted all the love and attention, which made me feel completely at ease. Itty Bitty struggles with separation anxiety, but she had no issues while I was away. In fact, she didn’t even seem bothered by my absence because of the exceptional care she received from Clay. Clay always stayed in touch, sending frequent updates and plenty of pictures. About: I got my first dog in 2011. He was a rescue pit bull and suspected to be a former fighting dog. Since he passed away, I have fostered puppies through Wolf Trap Animal Rescue and To The Rescue Inc. In November 2023, I adopted one of my fosters from WTAR. I have also dog-sat for various friends and family. I have a hybrid work schedule, so I go into the office 3 days a week. I can generally arrange so that day isn't while I am watching your pet. If I'm sitting for 5 straight weekdays, I will need to leave them for about 9-10 hours on 2 of the days. I love going for walks or having snuggles on the couch while I watch tv. My goal will be to keep their schedule as close to normal as possible. When I'm watching your pet, I treat them like my own. I want to give them all the love they get when you're home. I will treat your house with the utmost respect and make sure everything is left as I found it.

Abigail took care of my 2 aging fur babies for several days. I couldn't be happier when I saw the daily photos of my female cat being social with Abigail!!! Jen was absolutely amazing. She paid so much attention to our kitties, making sure she spent a lot of time with them so they weren't as lonely while we were gone. Fantastic as always. Being away from our furbabies is always hard but knowing Cliff is watching them is one less stressor off our checklist while we're away from our boys. Lena was very thoughtful while dropping in on my little guy while I was away for the week. While I was away she even kept an eye on a hygrometer I'd set up just before leaving to make sure the dehumidifier I'd been using didn't over dry the air, and kept actively in communication. My cat felt the love and was 100% stoic when I got home (a good thing! He didn't feel so lonely!) Will be in touch with her again for my next out of town trip!
Victoria is truly the cat whisperer. I cannot recommend her enough. We needed someone to feed them while we were out and my kitties are always happy, well cared for, and comfortable when we come home, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. Our cats are also super shy, but with Victoria they come out to say hi. I also really appreciate is her communication. She consistently sends thoughtful updates and pictures, which always brighten my day and reassure me that they’re doing well.
June was a reliable and trustworthy caregiver for our 2 cats for 6 days. They're shy and didn't warm up to a stranger in that short time but we never worried about them or our home; the cats were fed and clean and safe, we received daily photos and reports, and June even cleaned one cat's throw-up from a rug and called us in real time when one cat was hiding (he promptly showed himself the next day).
