I have been caring for my pup Murdoc since he was two months. I understand that some days there just isn’t enough time to treat our friends like the amazing pets they are. We wish we could bring them everywhere we go but when we can’t its important to leave them with someone who knows to treat them with gentle hands, love, and patience. I’ll take care of the walks and check-ins so you can come home to a happy, relaxed and loving pal. I also do overnight stays, and depending on the day I am available most weekdays and all weekends. For check-ins and walks my hours are much more flexible. Please check my availability prior to booking, as I update it every week. I am looking forward to meeting your best friend :)!

Safety, trust & environment
When house sitting, I follow instructions given my the pet owners in regards to pet schedules, feedings and home safety. Oftentimes, owners with more spacious yards prefer their dog play and potty there instead of going on walks. In those instances, I usually let the dog roam around and potty first, and if they want to play afterwards then I try to tire them out with some games before going back in. Either way, I don’t like to leave them in the yard alone in case of anything, even with fenced. I also do let all house sitting clients know that I cannot be in the home the entire stay. Rest assured they will not be alone for long, but I may occasionally step out to run errands or other drop ins. If there is a special way to enter or leave the house like if you’d prefer I enter through the garage, just let me know! As for package deliveries, whatever arrives during my stay will usually be placed inside by the front door. You can let me know if you prefer I don’t move them at all.

Sarina is incredibly wonderful with our new pup. She is very reliable and takes great care. She takes good pictures to show what they did during the visit and leaves me notes about how she was. I have used her several times for walking and I will continue to do so for as long as she is available!

Schedule
I am currently a part time student, which gives me a lot of free time on weekends and weekdays. I aim to update my calendar as frequently as possible, and I am open to same day bookings unless indicated on the calendar.

- If you are skipping a meet and greet, please let me know how to access the house. It would be helpful to know how flexible you are with time frames, would make setting up my schedule a lot easier! I do not bring treats with me but I do hand it out at the end of walks/visits. If you have certain concerns or limitations for your pets diet let me know and I’ll be mindful about how generous I am. Letting me know their favorite games, toys, and treats prior also helps. If you have a pet with any behavioral hiccups, let me know their pet peeves and I’ll avoid any mistakes. I do not let dogs greet other pets and people on walks just as a safety precaution. If they love socializing or have friends in the neighborhood, I’d love to let them catch up. Please keep in mind that unless you specify, I will play by ear depending on the pets mood. Lastly, if your pet knows any commands or only eats after a certain command, that would also be helpful to know prior!
