“Amazing dog walker! She was reliable, professional, and took great care of my dogs. They absolutely loved her and were always excited to see her. I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in good hands. I would hire her again anytime and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker!”

About: I have always had dogs in my life from family dogs to favorite neighborhood dogs. After adopting our dog Rory in 2022, I came to truly understand the dedication that goes into caring for a dog and the many benefits of having such a wonderful companion. I am committed to bringing the same patience and attention to every pup I care for. I am experienced with separation anxiety and know the importance of being sure your dog feels safe and secure while you are out. I have the summers off so am able to care for dogs throughout the week and weekend. During the school year I am available on weekends and some holidays. I strive to build a trusting relationship with all dogs I interact with. I like to incorporate “sniffy” walks to allow dogs a chance to explore and engage their senses.

About: I've been a cat parent all my life, and all-around animal lover. Now, I have two dogs (Damon and Matcha) and two kitties at home, all rescues. About half the time, I also volunteer to foster puppies that need homes, so I'm very experienced with dogs of all ages. Serving the Sterling area; I live across the street from Claude Moore park and love to explore the trails with four-legged friends. Summertime makes for the most gorgeous pictures, and I love capturing your fur babies on camera! I love all breeds, especially if they have good manners, but larger and more playful dogs will have the best time playing with my 3-year-old dog, Matcha. Caring for fur-babies is currently my full-time job, whether that's customers, fosters, or my own brood. I love all size dogs and cats! Most of the time, when I come into your home, your animals will let me know what their routine is! But specific instructions will help me out a lot too and are always appreciated.
“John is excellent with our Cody. He was scared at first and growled at him but John was kind and patient with him. He asked about all of his triggers and how to handle certain situations to make it as stress-free as possible for our boy. ❤️”

“Sarina is incredibly wonderful with our new pup. She is very reliable and takes great care. She takes good pictures to show what they did during the visit and leaves me notes about how she was. I have used her several times for walking and I will continue to do so for as long as she is available!”

About: I’ve been taking care of my family’s dog since I was 10 years old and have helped out with friends and neighbors dogs! I currently own a black lab so I am comfortable with medium to larger sized dogs. I am currently working part time, which gives me a flexible schedule and lots of time to take care of your pets! I am available most week days after 2 PM! As an owner of a black lab I am patient with all animals and will make sure they feel comfortable and are safe while they are in my care
About: I’m a teacher who is looking forward to working with pets! I have had my own dog for 10+ years and have taken care of other dogs as well! Neighbors, friends and families have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets! I am also an active dog sitter who lives near Algonkian Park! During the academic school year my availability is a little different, but my summer schedule is very flexible. I love spending time with my own dog and will take her out during various parts of the day if the weather allows. I firmly believe that pets are such important members of the family and giving them all the care and love is priority! When I care for pets, I make sure they are fed, taken outside on their daily walks and have some fun! When going on a walk, I make sure to carry a water, portable water bowl, bags and treats. I also check the temperature and make sure the heat index has not surpassed the recommended temperature for walking dogs. When feeding pets, I make sure to follow their feeding schedule and the amount recommended by their owner. I also check with the dog owner, if the pets have any allergies, medication or other health concerns. I ensure a safe, loving and welcoming space for each pet. My summer days are super flexible. I am also open to do super early walks, or late check-ins for dogs. My schedule during the day is open. I’m also available to housesit during the weekends. I try to update my calendar every two weeks. I treat any pet as my own pet. I ensure that they are comfortable, that they are fed, that they are also having fun and they feel safe. I know changes can sometimes cause pets to become anxious, and I want to ensure that while their human goes on trips, or is away, they are feeling like they are taken care of and feel safe!

Rasha is AMAZING. I have a nervous, reactive dog and 2 cats. She has done multiple meet and greets with my dog and has shown a great understanding of reactivity and behavioral principles. Rasha has been SO patient with Luna, and is so positive and gentle. I feel secure when Rasha takes Luna out, and that is a big deal. I am so grateful that I found Rasha!

Skyler was wonderful with my dog, Cooper! She was very responsive, sent lots of pictures and updates during the visit, and made sure he got his evening medication. Cooper seemed really comfortable with her right away, which gave me so much peace of mind. I really appreciated her communication and the great care she took of him. I would absolutely book with Skyler again and highly recommend her!

Carleigh is reliable, caring, and truly exceptional with dogs. My dog absolutely adores her and gets so excited every time she arrives. It's clear that she genuinely loves animals and treats them as if they were her own. Knowing my dog is happy, safe, and well cared for gives me complete peace of mind. We feel incredibly lucky to have met Carleigh!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
