“Our dog, Winston, loves his time with Valerie! He cannot wait to see her for their nice long walks - the tail is moving his whole body for a wag when he sees her coming. Value is so good to all her pups. We are very thankful to have found her on Rover!”

“Nic and his wife Carmen were great on their walk with Scuba. He’s a young and mouthy puppy and tries to eat everything during walks. They handled him with care and he seems to have enjoyed his walk. I’d recommend them!”

“Kalpana was a life saver! I had surgery and needed a last minute dog walker and she saved the day. She even showed up a little early to meet with Farley and make sure he was comfortable prior to the walk. I will definitely use her again and would recommend her to anyone else!”

“Logan is amazing with Zoey! Punctual, playful, and gets her all the exercise and attention she wants. It is clear he loves animals and they love him too. Will us and recommend his services again.”

In a client’s home, I treat both the pet and the space with respect, maintaining a clean, calm, and stress-free environment while they’re away.

About: I have taken care of, sat, and walked other dogs not just my own dogs for almost 10 years. I love dogs of all kinds! As someone who tries to maintain a balanced schedule, pet care is something I like to do when I have the free time during my day. I love giving my own dogs walks and I try to walk them at least once a day. Depending on what your rules are, I will respect and honor what you wish for me to do with your dog. I like to make sure that dogs are in the safest environment as well as being loved.

“Sofia has been great with my dog. She’s been extremely patient even when my dog has been fussy. It only took a couple of walks before she warmed up to her. Definitely want to thank Sofia for everything and I know Katie is looking forward to future walks!”

About: I’ve always had a dog as a part of my life growing up ever since I was 6. In more recent years, I was the co-pet parent of a dog for roughly 3 years, and I’d like to think he turned out pretty well. I have some decent knowledge and experience when it comes to handling and training dogs, namely by encouraging desired behaviors through positive reinforcement. While my experience may not be the most comprehensive, I’d like to think I more than make up for it with my love for dogs! Some day I’d love to have one of my own, but with my current life schedule and commitments, it’s just not in the cards for me. I’ve recently had the privilege of dipping my toes into fostering pups, which has taught me a lot about caring for a dog by myself. In the meantime, I’m perfectly content walking, caring for, and loving your dog just as if it was my own! I currently work full time 9-5 (generally) M-F, but I do have periods of flexibility when I can come walk/pet sit during the day. I’m also able to take some days of the week remote. I do have some after work commitments during the week days, but they’re relatively minimal, flexible, and I’m willing to work with you to find out what works best for you, me, and your pup! I have a fairly good understanding of dog body language and mannerisms and will, under no circumstances, put your dog in any position of discomfort in your home or on our walks. I will be sure to give your dog plenty of attention and playtime, but not to the extent that the dog feels uncomfortable or threatened by me. When it comes to walks, your dog is the boss-it’s their time to sniff, exercise, and do their business while I’m just along to chaperone them. That being said, I’ll make sure to avoid any altercations with other dogs or people by limiting those interactions on walks.

About: I have lived with dogs my whole life, including raising and training a puppy in college! I have pet (& house) sat for many friends and families in the neighborhood. I have experience in taking take of dogs (big and small), cats, fish, gerbils, and lizards! I am currently home from graduate school for the summer, so my schedule is completely open. I have availability to be with pets at any time needed! I can provide a consistent routine with clear communication to ensure everyone’s satisfaction! I love talking dogs on walks and playing, as well as cuddling on the couch!
“Karina was so warm and loving towards our pup when we all first met - We knew she’d be a great fit! She has been walking our pup mid-day and leaves a nice note and pictures after each walk. We are happy we can trust Karina in our home and with our pup! 💙”

Belmont dog parents share their Rover experiences
Avery did an excellent job walking my dog last week. She was consistent, on time every day, and always communicated clearly through the Rover app with updates after each visit. She was professional, pleasant, reliable, and it was clear my dog was well cared for and in good hands the entire time. It gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing I could count on her consistency and communication. I would absolutely recommend Avery to anyone looking for a dependable and trustworthy dog walker.

Rachel was absolutely amazing with my fur babies! And my senior girl got sick. Rachel went above and beyond working hard to comfort her and keep her environment clean until I returned. Thank you Rachel! Storm and Wisdom will be excited to see you when we book to have you check in on them again!

Natalia is amazing! She responded to my request very quickly, I needed help urgently, and she came through right away. She arrived on time, everything was perfect, and she even walked longer than we originally planned. What really stood out was her energy and the way she connected with my dog, my little baby absolutely adored her. Natalia did her job 10 out of 10, and I’m so happy I reached out to her. Highly recommend!
