About: My name is Laryssa and I am new on the sitter side of Rover. I am extremely reliable, caring and would treat your pets like my own while you are away! From experience, I know how hard it can be to leave your pets and will provide updates so you can ensure your fur babies are in good hands! A little about me I am a longtime dog owner and have had my Norwegian Elkhound mix for 10 years. She is now almost 12, I have experienced the puppy years, the energetic years, and all the little changes that come with caring for a dog as they get older. I also have experience with dogs from other family and friends that I would care for while they were away. I also currently have two tabby cats and I grew up with cats my whole life so I would be comfortable with both cats and dogs. I currently work from home full time so my schedule is flexible. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine and I will ensure to follow what is asked of me. I am available for dog walks and drop-in visits around the Leesburg area. Whether your dog needs a good walk, some playtime, food and water, a potty break, or simply someone to keep them company, I will make sure they get the care and attention they deserve. I have animals myself so I am used to breaking up my work day. Unfortunately I am unable to board animals with my dog since she gets jealous of me giving attention to someone outside of her. About: I have many years of experience caring for dogs. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to care for their dogs in their absence. I also have experience caring for dogs with special needs (seizures, diabetes, allergies, etc). We only take one pet at a time for in-home services like boarding and doggie daycare and integrate them into our home. We even have a doggie door into a fenced yard but I prefer to do potty breaks/ walks as needed. Being semi-retired allows me to dedicate more time to caring for pets. I frequently assist friends and family with pet care when they travel. I started caring for dogs because I'm big on making sure the dog is comfortable in their own surroundings. I am a substitute teacher for LCPS and mom of 2 daughters and 3 dogs. My husband and I have always had dogs growing up and we love having extra furry friends come visit. When needed, I care for my friends 2 medium dogs in her home. When caring for other families fur babies, I enjoy walking, playing and of course snuggle time with them. While I care for your fur baby, I treat them like they are my own. Being that I am a substitute teacher, I am home a majority of the time during the summer. I do get the same holidays off as the students. So if you are looking for a short getaway, that works too. I treat every pet like they are my home. Daily walks (especially if there is no fenced yard).I am not comfortable with having dogs off leash unless in a fenced area. If a pet makes a mess in the house, I make sure it's cleaned up. I always pu dog waste when the dog goes outside.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
