Vuronika is great with my anxious high energy dog. She has been walking him for a couple of weeks on a recurring basis, and has consistently showed up with the perfect calm energy to help my dog feel comfortable. She is very flexible, accommodating, and professional. Highly recommend!

Lea did a great job! Took our big Rottweiler for daily walks while we were on vacation. So appreciate how Lea gave me daily updates and communicates with me after every walk. So professional and reliable! Will recommend Lea to all of our friends with fur babies!

Courtney was terrific! Extremely communicative, and very patient with our pup! Would highly recommend. Our puppy is always fearful of new people, but she took to Courtney very quickly and she made it so east to be gone for the day and not worry about our dog.

About: Have only had 9 months total of my life without a dog or a pack of them by my side. Your fur baby will be fostered as one of my own; their walk, run, or potty break is all about them! With guidance from you, we will move at their pace. If they want to go for a run... then we run! If they prefer to walk tree to tree and smell every flower, that's fine too! I am available early mornings and mid-days during the week. I also have availability nightly to check on the pups and make sure they're ready for bed. I look forward to meeting the needs of your family, if it be walking or running the dogs, or making sure they are comfortable in your home, just let me know. I am fortunate enough to have a remote role, so my schedule is usually set to my own dog's needs. I am by no means a gym rat or a marathon runner. Yet that doesn't stop me from getting in usually 2-6 miles a day, both walking and running. While my dog is crate trained, it would be great if yours is as well, for those few errands that may take me away for up to 4 hours at a time (a busy week would be 3 half days in the office)

Tammy is fantastic!! There was hiccup with getting in the house on her first day (due to us giving here the wrong code). Thankfully, she was able to get in touch with us to get the right code and graciously made a second trip to the house to take care of our fur babies. I was so thankful and appreciative…she treated our pups like they were her own!!!

About: I’m an animal lover at heart and have taken care of my own pets as well as those of friends, neighbors, and others by word of mouth. I welcome dogs of all ages and sizes to my home or will visit yours giving them plenty of attention, love, and care. I will happily follow your directions to ensure routine is minimally disrupted. I’m familiar with geriatric dogs and will administer medications as instructed. My experience is vast as I have loved and cared for all sorts of animals to include my own since I was ten. I am currently at home full-time and will dedicate my attention to your fur-baby. I have a fenced in backyard that is large enough for a good romp or ball catch. I enjoy walks/hikes and being outdoors so if your dog requires long walks, I’m game. I also like snuggling up on the couch so if your dog needs more quiet time, that’s very much an option. Your dog or dogs must be house trained. I can crate if requested or alternatively, he/she will have access to my home as if it was his/her own. I’m also willing to come to your home for multiple walks and feedings throughout the day.

About: I’ve been a dog owner and caregiver for 40 years, since I was just 6 years old. Over the years, I’ve owned more than 10 dogs and have cared for many, many more. I’ve had experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities—from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and attention. I also have extensive experience caring for dogs with special needs and medical conditions, including administering medications and following specific care routines. I understand that every dog is different, and I take the time to learn their individual personality, routine, comfort level, and needs. Most importantly, I truly believe dogs are family. I provide the same patience, love, attention, and care that I would want someone to provide for my own pets. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. 🐾❤️ I currently work from home, which means I have the flexibility to build my schedule around your fur baby’s routine and needs. I’m available throughout the day for drop-ins, potty breaks, walks, meals, medication, playtime, or simply some extra love and companionship. Your pet won’t be left waiting all day for someone to come home—I can work their care into my day and give them the attention they deserve! I treat every pet as an individual and make their comfort, safety, and routine my top priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal schedule as closely as possible, including meals, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, and any special instructions. Since I work from home, I have the flexibility to provide frequent drop-ins and give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m also very respectful of my clients’ homes and treat them with the same care and consideration I would my own. I’ll keep things clean and tidy, provide regular updates and photos, and make sure you have peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

The ease of working with Liberty was commendable. She was very communicative and us informed. She asked probing questions pertinent to making the walks with Kyoshi worry-free. Further, she was very attentive especially on Kyoshi’s triggers such as squirrels and stuff on the ground. Kyoshi had a great time with Liberty, and would he more than happy to bond again with her in the future! Thank you very much, Liberty! We greatly appreciate the genuine attention and care you gave to Kyoshi!

About: A former vet assistant, kennel attendant, and active equestrian and children’s horseback riding instructor, I have worked for several years with big and small pets! I have experience with elderly dog and cat care, administering daily medicine, puppy care and training, and large animal welfare. I currently work from home and set my own work schedule, so I have a lots of flexibility and can adapt to your pets needs. In your home, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible — feeding and medication on schedule, regular walks on leash, and any appointments they need. I always double-check doors, gates, and leashes before and after each outing, and I keep the emergency vet’s number and your contact info on hand. For overnight and multi-day stays, I also handle house sitting tasks like mail collection, plant care, and general cleanup (dishes, laundry, sweeping). I’m comfortable with litter boxes, and with habitat cleaning for reptiles, rodents, and aquariums. You’ll get photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Woodburn. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Woodburn.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodburn. On Rover:

  • 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 94% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
