About: A former vet assistant, kennel attendant, and active equestrian and children’s horseback riding instructor, I have worked for several years with big and small pets! I have experience with elderly dog and cat care, administering daily medicine, puppy care and training, and large animal welfare. I currently work from home and set my own work schedule, so I have a lots of flexibility and can adapt to your pets needs. In your home, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible — feeding and medication on schedule, regular walks on leash, and any appointments they need. I always double-check doors, gates, and leashes before and after each outing, and I keep the emergency vet’s number and your contact info on hand. For overnight and multi-day stays, I also handle house sitting tasks like mail collection, plant care, and general cleanup (dishes, laundry, sweeping). I’m comfortable with litter boxes, and with habitat cleaning for reptiles, rodents, and aquariums. You’ll get photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since middle school for friends and neighbors! I love pets and have cared for many different cats & dogs over the years! I have been a routine dog walker and sitter. I love pets and I want to share my love with your fur babies! I also have some veterinary tech experience with injecting animals with medication. I love animals and would love to watch after yours! Please reach out to me with any questions! I work a 9-5 in person job. I can only let out pets every 8 hours and sometimes stop by midday during lunch. I am available weekends and able to stay overnight with them. I only take care of pets in your own home, which is better for the stress of your pet. I will always make sure to send check ins and keep open communication!
“Alexandra was so loving and patient with Scuba. I can totally see why she’s so well reviewed. She was great with Scuba on their walk, accommodate my late changes due to my health issues and helped me take care of Scuba today. I’d definitely opt for her again and if possible, would also try leaving Scuba in her care when we travel!”

“Nicole took great care of Scuba during their walk. She was so friendly and patient with him. She was so kind to accommodate me at the last minute even between other appointments and punctual. I’d definitely recommend Nicole!”

“Kayla did an amazing job and was super attentive to my puppies. She was also available longer than I needed, which was much appreciated. She shared my puppies amazing care and 10 out of 10 would use again.”

About: I took care of my black lab for 8 years, including feeding, giving medications, bathing and walking. I raised my cat from 6 weeks forward, cleaning litter boxes, feeding, giving attention to/playing with, and giving any medicines needed. I currently have a 4 and 5 year old cat. I also regularly volunteered at the cat Cafe in Murfreesboro, TN before I relocated to the area. There I was responsible for playing with the cats, feeding them and cleaning litter boxes. I have worked at an animal hospital where I have gained knowledge about medical situations and some medication giving. I am also a professional toy fixer! I am currently in between jobs so I do have mostly open availability until this changes or if I have to block some time off for an interview. I am willing to stay as long as needed to keep your furbabies happy and make sure they are fully taken care of. Being sure to leave your home exactly how it was when I arrived.
“Daniela was professional, kind and Leo really enjoyed his walk with her. I really appreciated that she took some pictures of Leo so I could see how he did on his walk. Thanks Daniela!”
“Ashley was an absolute angel watching my Romeo!! She was extremely thorough and followed my instructions to a T (there were many! Lol) she was inquisitive and took pride in being helpful and making sure my puppy was well taken care of. She was always early or on time and always gave my baby lots of love! I would and WILL be asking her to dog sit again! Thank you so much Ashley!! ⭐️”

About: I’ve been around animals most of my life and some of my favorite people are Furry Ones! I’m always up for walks, visits and snuggles! Summer Hours Update: I am available anytime during the summer! I’m not limited to my school schedule until August 10th, 2026 I’m looking to make some new furry friends! I teach elementary school, so I’m up early and at work by 7am, and out of work by 3:00. I’m available most weekdays for walks and visits 3-10 pm. I also am available most weekends all day! I will take care of your pet as I would my own! I am available to come to your home, and when I am caring for your pets I will give them extra time and attention. My drop-in visits are usually at least an hour, especially if there are more than just one pet. Our cat prefers to be a consistent Only Child, so bringing your pet to my house is unfortunately not an option currently. If you have them, I prefer written specific needs/directions so that there is no confusion about what your pet’s needs are.
About: Hey there! My name is Chris, and I have been working in pet care service my entire working career. I just can't help but work with the critters in any type of job I've had - and I've tried! With over seven years of experience with taking care of animals, I've learned a trick or two in my day and would like to consider myself quite seasoned. For my services that I offer, I allow a variety of options for you to choose from! While your visit is wrapping up I could even send you a photo of your little critter at the end of your service or I could top off their food and water after their visit for the day. I am also trained to administer medication to animals due to my experience with animals, though if you have questions feel free to ask. I have also taken lessons on pet CPR previously! I work part time (self employed) So I am always free to usually take on any work needed that you may want done! Just a little bit of heads up is needed, but you can cancel same day! We do not have any crates in our home, but we do have a large fenced in back yard and a enclosed porch for plenty of hanging out!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
