Dog Walkers in Broadlands, VA

About: My children and I currently have a golden doodle named Phoenix! He's been a member of our family shortly after he became 8 weeks old. With all of his energy, he keeps us on our toes and we've helped him to learn about 36 commands together in a brief timeframe. Although, our time together has only amounted to a couple of years, I also grew up with a family that had two border collies, Midnight and C.J., as part of our family. #FourLeggedFun Different from how it was growing up, over the last few years, I have quickly learned about how essential it is to understand canine philosophy and pack mentality with dogs. This has allowed our family to train Phoenix in a way that puts his needs first while still allowing us to get the benefit of loving on him in a way that he can feel loved too. I currently work until the early afternoon on the weekdays. So, I have plenty of time to get a few walks in before bed time :-). On the weekends, I am available from the early afternoons until late evening. I would love to share some outside time with your furry friends. Safety is key for both your pet and myself. As such, I will treat your pets with love, respect, and kindness just as if they were my own. I'll be mindful of the temperature outside, as well as, the walking path that we may take. And, if I notice anything out of the ordinary about your pet during our walk I will be sure to keep you informed. Additionally, please let me know what your pet(s) are accustomed to and I'll do my best to accommodate their needs.

About: I have a lot of experience working the mornings at the animal shelter, learning all of their special traits and qualities. It is my passion in life to work with animals. I’m fully dedicated to providing the best, quality care to all the cute fur-babies out there. My routine is malleable for the foreseeable future, so pet care would fit into my day to day life depending on my clients and their needs! About: I've played a major role in taking care of my family dogs for the last 6 or so years, taking them on walks, feeding them, giving them medicine, and more! I ran track through high school and in college, so I am more than capable of keeping up with or setting the pace for any dog while on walks. I've spent time with and handled a variety of dog breeds, from golden retrievers to pit bulls, and I am comfortable with any dog of any breed as long as it is friendly. No dog is too friendly for me! I can handle dogs jumping on me or pulling the leash, and I have plenty of experience keeping dogs reigned in on walks since my own dog has hunting and chasing written on his genes. Let me walk your dog and I'll show them the love and care that they would get from their own owners! I'm shadowing in the medical field this summer, so I'm available nearly all day every day with flexibility around when I shadow. I also take my health and fitness seriously, so dog walking fits perfectly into my schedule each day as I can both help out in the community and exercise at the same time! While on walks or playing with dogs, I watch their body language to see what they want / need and act in a way that is best for both me and the dog. Whether that means the dog needs to go to the bathroom, or if the dog wants to go for a short sprint, I want to do what makes the dog most happy while keeping both of us safe.

About: I have taken care of, sat, and walked other dogs not just my own dogs for almost 10 years. I love dogs of all kinds! As someone who tries to maintain a balanced schedule, pet care is something I like to do when I have the free time during my day. I love giving my own dogs walks and I try to walk them at least once a day. Depending on what your rules are, I will respect and honor what you wish for me to do with your dog. I like to make sure that dogs are in the safest environment as well as being loved.

About: I grew up around dogs and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. My dad owned a dog training company, and I helped assist with feeding, walking, playing with, and caring for dogs from a young age. Because of that, I’m very comfortable around different breeds, energy levels, and temperaments. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and making dogs feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I have a flexible schedule and can provide walks and lots of attention throughout the day. I’m reliable, responsive, and understand how important consistency and routine are for pets to feel comfortable and cared for. I always pay close attention to a dog’s behavior, energy level, and needs to make sure they feel safe and secure. About: I have had dogs of my own for my whole life, and I have taken care of a wide range of dogs from puppies to elderly dogs. I am a very active person so long walks and play time are no issue for me at all. I will give your pups all my attention and make sure they get the best care possible. I am free all summer and taking care of your pets would be my first priority, I can be up early and late really whatever will for your needs! I will always put your pets care first, I love being active so I am always ready to be out and about with your pet.
