About: Hey there, fellow dog lovers! 🐾 Are you seeking top-notch care and companionship for your furry friend? Look no further! I'm a dedicated 24-year-old with a passion for pups, working from home and ready to give your dog the time of their life. My mini Labradoodle, trained as my emotional support dog, is the epitome of sweetness and charm. Together, we offer tailored walks, playtime, and plenty of love. Plus, with the convenience of living right across the street from Shirlington Dog Park, your pup will have endless opportunities for fun and socialization. With flexible scheduling and personalized attention, your pup will feel right at home. Pet care is a cornerstone of my daily routine, woven seamlessly into each day. Mornings kick off with a refreshing walk or play session, setting the tone for a day filled with fun and activity. Throughout the day, I make sure to check in on my furry friend, offering companionship and care as needed. Whether it's a midday stroll, some playtime at the dog park, or simply cuddling up on the couch, my pet's well-being is always a top priority. In the evenings, we wind down together, enjoying quality time and relaxation. Safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment are paramount when caring for pets, especially in the unique setting of an apartment. In my home, I ensure that all potential hazards are removed or secured, creating a safe space for pets to roam and play.

“Sofia took great care of my cats. Her daily check in’s were thorough and she took time to get to know the cats and make sure they had everything they needed. Felt safe and relaxed knowing she was so reliable.”

“Kelly did a great job looking after our pet cat while we were away for the long weekend. She was available at short notice , was very responsive , responsible with follow up, and detailed with directions. Highly recommend.”

“Katrina was absolutely wonderful with our small dog during two home visits. She kindly offered to meet us beforehand, and our dog immediately loved her. I did, too! Also, Katrina is super responsible. She took the time to confirm several details before we left. I could relax knowing that she is truly on top of everything! During the visits, she sent pics, made sure our dog did his business, and played and snuggled with him. Our sweet dog was relaxed and happy when we returned. I could tell he had a fabulous day with Katrina! :) We are planning to schedule with her again!”

About: Hi! I'm a 19-year-old responsible and energetic pet lover based in Ashburn, VA. I've grown up with dogs (a lovable senior basset hound and a prickly Pekingese who has passed on) and a cat (spunky Lulu), which has given me hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. I genuinely enjoy spending with animals and making them feel loved. I'm currently working part-time over the summer, so I'm flexible and have time to take care of your fur babies. I'm available for flexible daytime, evening, and weekend services around the Ashburn area. I always do a Meet & Greet first to make sure it is a good fit for you and your pet. You can count on daily photo/video updates so you'll never have to worry how your pet is doing. No matter what the environment, safety first is my top priority. I always follow your care instructions carefully and pay close attention to any changes in behavior or appetite. During walks, I keep dogs securely on a leash/harness. For drop-ins and house sitting, I keep the house secure and get in contact with you right away if there are any issues.
“Lesley did an amazing job watching my dog. She left detailed notes and lots of fun pictures. She even got a Christmas gift of tennis balls and cookies! Absolutely above and beyond!”

About: Hi! My name is Jordyn and I am 25 years old. I have had dogs my whole life, and I love them! I have had a Husky and Labrador Retriever, a Rottweiller, and I currently have a Goldendoodle that I have cared for since she was a puppy. I used to dog sit/walk for friends and family members, and have multiple years of experience on Rover. Now I hope to help take care of your dog too! I have taken care of many dogs ranging from Papillions to Great Danes. I love interacting with all breeds of dogs. I am available Thursday through Sunday. I would be happy to care for your dog! I work a hybrid schedule and will typically be available Thursday through Sunday to do walks, house sit, or do drop in visits for your pet. I always make sure doors and other entrances are closed and locked upon entry and exit. Your pet will always have food and water according to owner instructions.

“Pam made us feel completely at ease during our trip, knowing that our two spoiled kitties would receive the best TLC. Her detailed messages and photos gave us peace of mind. Pam doesn’t just check the boxes…she gives time and attention. We couldn’t be happier!”

About: I've had a dog of my own for 12 years now and have grown up knowing how to properly take care of him. I have also done dog sitting for neighbors and family friends throughout my life. My top priority is your dog. I currently do not work so my schedule is completely open for walks, overnights, and playtime. Although, I might be taking care of multiple dogs at a time which would fill up my schedule but that can be worked around. I'll communicate with you to get your dog's needs and personality/behavior of your dog. I am always on time. I respect the dog's boundaries to make sure they are calm with me in their space. I'll send updates and pictures of your dog while you're away.
About: I have 1 year of hands-on pet care experience, working with non-profit organizations, adoption agencies, and volunteering in animal centers. I’ve cared for pets of all sizes and temperaments, from playful puppies to senior dogs needing extra patience and attention. My experience includes walking, feeding, basic training reinforcement, and providing a safe, loving environment where pets feel at home. On weekends, my days are centered around the pets I care for. I start mornings with fresh walks or playtime at the nearby dog park to help them burn off energy and start the day happy. Throughout the day, I schedule regular potty breaks, cuddle sessions, and playtime to keep them engaged and comfortable. Because I live near several beautiful parks and trails, I love incorporating longer walks or outdoor adventures into their routine. Evenings are all about winding down with calm activities, belly rubs, and making sure they feel safe and relaxed before bedtime. Your pet becomes my priority for the time they’re with me — I treat them like family while sticking closely to the routines you’ve set for them at home. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I follow their routines closely to keep them happy and comfortable. I provide regular walks, feeding, play, and lots of affection, along with photo updates so you know they’re doing great. My goal is to treat every pet like family, giving them the love, care, and attention they deserve while you’re away. I also have a gentle, pet-loving 6-year-old who enjoys spending time with animals, giving them even more love and attention.
About: I've had the joy of caring for my elderly beagle for several years, and that experience has given me a deep understanding of a dog’s needs—especially when it comes to patience, gentle handling, and attentiveness. From slow strolls to knowing when they need extra comfort, I’ve learned how to support dogs at all stages of life. I bring that same care, calm energy, and reliability to every walk and visit. I’m dog walking on a part time basis, except Tuesdays and Thursdays, but can be available some weekends. I am also local for holidays so can be available. Since I used to have an elderly dog, I am familiar with the different parks and also have a pet friendly rooftop area in my apartment building.
“Ashley has been so good to Dozer. She is his weekly companion for lunch time walks. She is quick to respond and communicates when she has a scheduling conflict. We have enjoyed Dozer's pics for every walk. Thank you Ashley!”

About: I’m a very passionate and experienced dog care taker with a deep love for animals. I’ve been taking care of dogs for my friends and family since I was 10 years old, and have owned 4 dogs myself of all different breeds. I’m used to all types of dogs, including senior dogs and large dogs. My goal isn’t to just take care of basic needs, but to make every moment special for your furry friends! Your pets well being and your peace of mind is my top priority always. I’m currently available all hours of the day! I do accept same day bookings, but at least with a couple hours in advance. I’m a bit of a night owl as well, so nighttime walks/visits are welcome! I will cater to your needs in your specific home environment. Whether it be throwing a ball in the backyard, playing inside the house, or just showing them some love, I’ll do it all! I understand the important of exercise and companionship for pets. I want to make sure they are comfortable in their own home and show them the best time possible.
“Tammy was absolutely wonderful with our two furbabies, Finn and Furb! 🐾😺😸 She took the time to really get to know them and made sure they were comfortable and happy. She was punctual, friendly, she played with them and genuinely cared for them like they were her own during her drop ins. We felt so at ease knowing they were in her hands. Tammy was also great at calming my fears in leaving them for a week for the first time. I feel like I’ve known Tammy all these years. She is so personable! We will definitely be booking with Tammy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter! ❤️”

About: If you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy dog sitter, I am just that. I have been dog sitting for family and friends for years and enjoy every moment of playing, spoiling and taking care of pets. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover my entire life. I enjoy all animals. I grew up with two dogs and a cat and have always had a pet. I am an animal advocate :) My experience administering medication I do not have a problem giving medication as long as I am given the proper directions and dosage. I do have a diabetic cat so insulin and understanding feedings I am a pro at. I look forward to watching your fur babies. Thanks
About: My family got our first and only dog in 2019, a jack Russel Chihuahua named Sadie. She was very energetic despite her age and loved attention, people and especially children. I'm not as good at grooming dogs as I am cats (ie nail trimming) but I can bathe and brush any dog's teeth or coat. Every day I care for my 2 cats and bearded dragon. I'm unemployed at this time so I have all the time in the world to care for your pets. Some may say that the hardest part about owning a cat is their claws but I've trimmed even the most unruly kitties nails in my time. Even my friends dog Teddy probably loves me more than her 😂

Skylar is fantastic. She is very knowledgeable and responsible, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a safe, loving, and reliable pet sitter or dog walker. She took great care of our dog. We would not hesitate to request Skylar again in the future. Great experience!

Diego is mine and Phoenix‘s favorite dog walker. He’s very reliable, trustworthy, and competent at having healthy relationships with dogs. Phoenix enjoys his time with Diego. That’s very important to me, especially knowing that I have to be gone for days at a time. This kind of peace of mind is priceless. We’re grateful to have Diego on our team.

Nice job with our pet visits. She def cares about animals as she rescued an injured bird that had flown into our glass door minutes before we left for the airport. Our home was the way we left it, and she sent plenty of pics to ease our worries about leaving them
