About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old and have been a dedicated pet parent for the past 13 years. Over the years, I have worked closely with professional trainers and dog behaviorists, gaining valuable knowledge about canine behavior, training, and enrichment. My passion for dogs extends beyond companionship—I genuinely enjoy understanding how they learn and helping them feel confident, safe, and happy. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, including providing compassionate support and specialized care during their later years. Having shared my life with dogs through every stage, I understand the importance of treating each pet as an individual and caring for them with patience, attentiveness, and love, just as I would my own family. work from home, which allows me to provide attentive care and companionship throughout the day. I live in a townhouse and ensure dogs receive plenty of exercise and enrichment through two long walks daily, along with multiple shorter walks and potty breaks tailored to each dog's individual needs, energy level, and routine. My flexible schedule enables me to maintain consistency, provide regular supervision, and make sure every pet feels comfortable, engaged, and well cared for during their stay. Dogs in my care are treated like part of the family. I provide plenty of affection, attention, and one-on-one care tailored to each dog's unique personality, energy level, and dietary needs. Whether your pup enjoys active playtime, relaxing companionship, or extra cuddles, I make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and at home. To give you peace of mind while you're away, I provide daily updates, photos, and videos so you can stay connected and see how much fun your dog is having during their stay.

“Wish I could give more than 5 stars! Nina was wonderful, attentive and very caring towards my 2 dogs. She was in constant communication with me and very flexible and accommodating to their needs. My one rescue is a handful but he seemed to be doing great in her care. I got videos that showed how calm and relaxed he was. So glad I found a great sitter for my pups!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was 18 years old. My family adopted a new born puppy while I was in college and he is our whole world. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to check in on their pets, feed them, walk them, and spend quality time playing and keeping them comfortable while they’re away. I’m experienced with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, including energetic puppies and older dogs that need extra patience and attention. I always focus on making pets feel safe, cared for, and relaxed in their own environment. I’m also new to the Ashburn area and would love to spend some of my free time getting to know the neighborhood while caring for local dogs. Spending time with pets is something I genuinely enjoy, and I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. I work fully remote and am home all day, so pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I take breaks between work tasks to go on walks, work along side with pups and make sure they’re comfortable and happy. It’s easy for me to maintain a consistent schedule and give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I care for pets by following their established routines as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get potty breaks and walks, and receive plenty of attention and playtime. I also pay close attention to their behavior and well-being and keep the home tidy and secure while I’m there. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, safe environment with regular feeding, exercise, and supervision throughout the day. I maintain consistency with the pet’s normal routine and ensure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owner is away.

Sumit and Anju were very loving with our energetic young puppy! Their calm and kind demeanor was definitely helpful in making the pick up/ drop off stress free. I enjoyed all the updates and pictures too! I recommend this couple and look forward to having them provide doggy daycare again in the future.

Amulya is an incredible host! My puppy loves visiting her and is genuinely excited to see her, which speaks volumes about the care she provides. She is responsive, provides plenty of (photo) updates during the stay, and is attentive and keen enough to learn and anticipate her furry guests’ needs and behaviors.

I dropped my precious Clover off in the morning for her first day of doggy daycare with Deborah, her daughter and her sweet dog, Lotus. Deborah was amazing from start to finish with the booking process and the care provided. She sent frequent updates with photos and even a video so I could see how well Clover’s day was going! She was incredibly communicative, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything went well. Clover was spoiled with a lot of cuddle time and clearly felt right at home based on the photos. Clover came home tired from all of the playing and walking, but otherwise happy and relaxed. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Deborah again for daycare or overnight care. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone loving, responsible, and truly attentive to watch their furry family member!

Ashley took really good care of our 9 month pup, Coco. She sends very consistent updates, is an excellent communicator, and her pet, Cannoli, is the most adorable boy. She made sure Coco feels right at home and dealt with his energy with a lot of grace and attention. We're looking forward to boarding with her after doing daycare. Thank you Ashley!!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Broadlands commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in VA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
