Because I work from home and spend part of my day on calls, dogs must be comfortable settling independently and remaining quiet when briefly separated on another floor or resting in their crate. Dogs who experience significant separation distress, bark, or whine continuously when they cannot be beside someone may not be the best fit for my home. I also keep a later evening schedule, so my home is not the best fit for early risers. Dogs must be comfortable sleeping quietly until at least 8:00 a.m. Dogs who routinely whine, bark, or need to be taken outside before 8:00 a.m. will not be a good fit. For everyone’s safety and comfort, I’m unable to accommodate reactive dogs. Guests must be easy to manage on walks and able to pass other dogs without lunging, excessive barking, growling, or pulling. They should also be friendly and comfortable sharing a home with Buddy. I keep the environment clean, calm, and comfortable, and I’m happy to follow your dog’s routine closely so they feel safe and right at home.
