Danielle did a great job. We have a nervous dog who doesn’t always like to walk but she tried lots of tricks and got her to at least pee on every visit. She kept us posted along the way. Thank you!

Shanice is a gem! I have a senior dog who is a bit wary of strangers but he went straight up to her when they met. She's always on time, is flexible and provides photos of the walks. I'm happy to have found her and so is Duke.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life so taking care of pets has always been second nature to me. I’m used to all the basics like walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure they are getting plenty of attention and maybe a few extra treats if allowed. For the past five years, I’ve been regularly pet sitting for friends, family, and others and I’ve met all kinds of personalities from high-energy dogs who never want to stop playing to the ones who just want to hang out and relax. I like to stick to your pet’s usual routine so they feel comfortable while you are away, and I will make sure they are well cared for and getting lots of attention the whole time! I am home from College for much of the Summer, so I will have a very flexible schedule to be able to care for your pets! Any day, any time I could be there to help you out! I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and kept on their normal routine as much as possible. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medication administration, and household rules. I always double-check doors, gates, and leashes for safety before and during care. I keep the environment calm and give pets plenty of attention so they feel relaxed while their owner is away.

About: I currently work at a dog daycare where I help care for dogs of different sizes and personalities throughout the day. My responsibilities include feeding, supervising playtime, cleaning, and making sure each dog is safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I also have experience volunteering with dog adoptions and assisting at an animal hospital, where I was able to learn more about handling and caring for animals in a medical and shelter environment. I’ve been around animals my whole life, especially my own dog, which has helped me understand how to be patient, gentle, and attentive to their needs. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine because I already work with dogs regularly at a daycare. I’m used to early mornings, consistent routines, and staying flexible with different schedules. I also have time in the afternoons, evenings, and some weekends to dedicate fully to pet care, walks, and check-ins. I always prioritize safety, trust, and comfort when caring for pets. I closely follow each pet’s routine and any instructions provided by the owner. In my home or the client’s home, I make sure the environment is clean, calm, and secure. I supervise pets at all times, give them lots of attention, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m patient and gentle, and I treat every pet like they’re my own.

About: I gotta be honest, I don't have an extensive list of pet sitting experience on my resume. But, I have pet-sat two dogs (a german shepherd and a minipoo) and have cared for three dogs throughout my life, one (collie) whose back legs gave out a year before she passed, and another two since they were puppies (black lab, jindo). My dog has hypothyroidism so I give him levothyroxine everyday and am familiar with diets to not trigger pancreatits. I have a fairly open schedule with an exception to Friday nights and Sunday mornings. Any time else I am fairly flexible and open to working! I can feed, walk, pick up, and play with your dogs anytime necessary. I can't house them but I am willing to drive reasonable distances!

About: I’ve had two of my own dogs since I was 2. I really enjoy fostering dogs and puppies, and just being around dogs in general- I’m also a big walker! My dog Winnie is a rescue so I have experience working with more timid, shy, or skiddish dogs on walks. I’m currently a college student on summer break. I am taking a couple of summer classes and volunteering part time so I have plenty of time to walk! I will always put your dog first, making sure they feel safe and comfortable wherever we are. I will make sure they get anything they need; frequent breaks, water, treats.

About: Hi!! I’m Michele and I live in a townhouse community in North Potomac/Gaithersburg, adjacent to the Kentlands. I have owned rescue dogs for 30 years, and I have always chosen dogs that are “hard to adopt” due to having a traumatic history, having accompanying anxiety or other behavioral challenges, and/or being a wrongly stigmatized breed. All of my dogs have been mixed breeds — a Doberman mix, a Shepherd mix, a Rottweiler mix, a Pitbull mix, a Mini Pin mix, and a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I have also been helping my daughter over the past two years with her growing petsitting business. I have spent much of my career as a consulting writer and communications specialist in the global health and international development field, and have mostly worked from home. Due to recent changes in the federal government, most U.S.-based professionals in this field lost employment in 2025, and I am taking the opportunity to branch into more entrepreneurial paths that speak to my other personal passions. I always make sure my dogs (and yours!) have plenty of exercise, water, and hugs! And of course food and any medications according to your exact instructions. When I walk dogs, I am conscious of allowing them to have ample time to sniff and explore, as this gives them the mental exercise they need and tires them out for good naps during the day. I also love to give dogs play time in fenced yard/areas with any balls/toys they enjoy. I am available for walks at any time of the day, as well as housesitting in your home (or my home if you prefer!) when you are away! I am also happy to care for cats and any other pets. Thanks so much for considering me, and I hope to meet you and your best friend(s) soon! I’m currently rebuilding my career from scratch and have plenty of time for pet care! The work paths that I am building will all be mostly work-from-home. I will provide long and short walks, additional exercise in fenced areas, water, food, and medications! I am forever a dog-on-the-furniture/bed person but will happily respect your wishes if you prefer not to allow that. I will also provide crate training if desired! I currently do not have dogs living with me full time, but my daughter has two dogs and can bring them to my house anytime if you would like some social time built in.

About: Growing up I was always dog sitting while my friends were babysitting. My neighbors keep requesting I come back to them because of my flexibility and commitment! I can get along with any type of dog due to my understanding of dog psychology and my addiction to dog training shows. I hope to one day gain experience in becoming a dog trainer so I can help families have a more balanced well rounded companion. I am always eager to help out on short notice. I’m also flexible and willing to do anything you ask me to do. I take pet and home safety extremely seriously, I strive to be someone you can trust in your home and with your dog. I can’t wait to meet new doggies and dog owners! I’m currently volunteering part time at the Holy Cross Hospital but I have plenty of extra free time to hang out with your doggies! I understand how important it is to feel comfortable having someone in your home while you’re away. I strive to ensure everything stays clean, safe, and secure for your family. I am willing to do additional house service such as overnight stays if your dog gets anxious at night, plant maintenance, or take care of any other critters you have around!

I needed someone to come for a drop-in and watch on pretty short notice. Jessica responded very quickly and was willing to come over the very same day for a meet and greet. She was very sweet with our dog and he immediately liked her. On the day of the drop-in she came exactly on time, took Comet for a nice walk and made sure he had a full bowl of water before she left. Very happy with Jessica's service and look forward to booking her again.

About: I have worked at an animal hospital for 2 years now working with dogs and cats each day. Have been dog sitting since high school and really enjoy spending time with all kinds of pets with different personalities. I have experience walking, bathing, and treating animals for awhile and love helping them in any way! I am currently working and a student but find free time in the mornings and evenings during the week to assist in anyway such as: walking, feeding and treating pets, giving baths and overall giving them new experiences. I am also available most weekends. I currently have an apartment with two cats that pets are welcome to. I also have a vehicle and would be happy to travel to dog parks or hiking areas to give them more exercise based on the environments that would be best for each individual pet. I am also happy to work with the pet in their own home or yard if that is where they are most comfortable. During the week I find time in the morning and evening to tho for walking and drop in to take care of any pets. I am available most weekends and on those weekends I am free any time. I have an apartment with two cats that any pet is welcome to spend time with me at. I am also available to visit with them in their own home if that is where they are most comfortable. About: I have a medium size calm dog Judo who loves the company of other dogs. I have been caring for my own dogs since 2014, and started Rover in 2018. I also foster dogs for local rescues and especially have experience with shy dogs that need help trusting people. Because of allergies, dogs are not allowed on furniture or in the bedroom. We only take one dog at a time to insure your lovely pup gets the attention they deserve. We only accept dogs that are fully house trained. Accidents happen, but please do not send your dog over if they already have urinary or digestive problems. Please understand that we only accept fully vaccinated dogs to protect the health of our resident dog. Before booking with us for the first time, we recommend a meet n greet to ensure a good fit. I work from home and my schedule is pretty flexible. Potty breaks in the yard available throughout the day. Two walks a day with my dog and park visits on weekends. All interactions between dogs will be monitored. When I’m not around I will keep them separate in the first three days until I am confident that they get along. Food will be provided separately and toys will not be left around.

Marti is always so wonderful with our dog Hemi! She is very responsive with walking requests when sent. She is flexible with timing and will always make herself available for your doggo. Further, Hemi loves her and at the end of their walk Marti even spends time with our cat giving her AND Hemi both treats and pets.
