“This is an absolutely fantastic choice for a dog-sitter, in my mind. Leslie was loving, caring and she treated Frances, my terrier-dachshund with the closest and kindest attention—plenty of walks, balanced diet, happy human company to sleep with when she desired, and various places to rest—so Leslie passed those all those important measures.She also sent me photographs with comments fairly often, which delighted me and made me know that Frances was safe and happy! But then, of Great value was the fact that she always could find positive human companionship—her cousin came, and let Frances and another dog, sleep on his knee, looking utterly content, her roommate really liked Frances and showed it, and Leslie did too. AND there was always her dog, and then occasionally a neighbor’s dog or another client’s dog visiting for a number of hours. That was Heaven for Frances, and just what I was hoping for. A place where Frances could be, as Leslie put it, a member of a pack. NOT a large, in any way overwhelming pack, but a small pack, consisting of one or two or conceivably three other dogs, which she could be with. THAT and the essential human warmth which was very much present—was all I could dream of—and Leslie provided it. Thank you so, so much. I will definitely use her services again! Leslie is cause for peace of mind, great happiness and satisfaction for Frances and me.”

The moment we arrived, Chewie instantly took to her warm and loving nature—it was clear he felt safe and at home right away. Her yard is a dog’s dream: huge, fully fenced, and completely safe. And her sweet dog Rascal deserves a special shoutout for being so patient with Chewie’s endless puppy energy and attempts to jump all over him. About: I have a medium size calm dog Judo who loves the company of other dogs. I have been caring for my own dogs since 2014, and started Rover in 2018. I also foster dogs for local rescues and especially have experience with shy dogs that need help trusting people. Because of allergies, dogs are not allowed on furniture or in the bedroom. We only take one dog at a time to insure your lovely pup gets the attention they deserve. We only accept dogs that are fully house trained. Accidents happen, but please do not send your dog over if they already have urinary or digestive problems. Please understand that we only accept fully vaccinated dogs to protect the health of our resident dog. Before booking with us for the first time, we recommend a meet n greet to ensure a good fit. I work from home and my schedule is pretty flexible. Potty breaks in the yard available throughout the day. Two walks a day with my dog and park visits on weekends. All interactions between dogs will be monitored. When I’m not around I will keep them separate in the first three days until I am confident that they get along. Food will be provided separately and toys will not be left around.

About: My top priorities are the same as yours. The safety, comfort and happiness of your best friends. I've had dogs and other pets at all different energy levels my entire life. I have always had a beagle, pitbull, poodle and others in my care. I love all breeds like they are my own! I can follow any training or special instructions you have for your pet. Your best buddy will be allowed to hang out on furniture and have someone with them at all times. If your dog loves walks, parks, creeks, or fenced yards, this is the place for them! I don’t have any pets of my own at this time, and I’d love to care for yours in the meantime. I understand and appreciate how much your best friend means to you. I'm always available for a visit. I am at home full-time retired so I'm available and at the mercy of your pet’s schedule! I do my best to accommodate most schedules. If you just need to drop off your pet for a few hours while you take care of errands etc.. that's no problem. I treat every single pet like they are my own. Pets are allowed on all furniture (unless you say no!), they have a fully fenced yard to play in, a park right across the street to walk in, a creek to play in, and more right across the street! If your dog is uncomfortable around other dogs or people, i am able to walk them in non populated areas. One of my former dogs was also not a huge fan of people or other pets so I know how to work with these situations.

About: I am currently only accepting hypoallergenic dogs for boarding and doggy daycare! These include but are not limited to: Bichon, Poodles (or any doodle), Yorkies, Maltese, and Schnauzer. I own two dogs, one is a young Miniature Goldendoodle that I have had since she was a couple of months old, and the other is a senior Toy Poodle that I have had since she was 5 years old. About: Hi!! I’m Michele and I live in a townhouse community in North Potomac/Gaithersburg, adjacent to the Kentlands. I have owned rescue dogs for 30 years, and I have always chosen dogs that are “hard to adopt” due to having a traumatic history, having accompanying anxiety or other behavioral challenges, and/or being a wrongly stigmatized breed. All of my dogs have been mixed breeds — a Doberman mix, a Shepherd mix, a Rottweiler mix, a Pitbull mix, a Mini Pin mix, and a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I have also been helping my daughter over the past two years with her growing petsitting business. I have spent much of my career as a consulting writer and communications specialist in the global health and international development field, and have mostly worked from home. Due to recent changes in the federal government, most U.S.-based professionals in this field lost employment in 2025, and I am taking the opportunity to branch into more entrepreneurial paths that speak to my other personal passions. I always make sure my dogs (and yours!) have plenty of exercise, water, and hugs! And of course food and any medications according to your exact instructions. About: I have taken care of dogs for a few years now and decided I want to help those in need of a dog sitter and some training. I’m a nurse and work 3 days a week and looking to dog sit or walk on my days off. My schedule is pretty flexible so I can switch my days around if needed. I have an American Bully named Milo who is 10 months old. He loves meeting new dogs and is very friendly. I have a small fenced yard but I will take my puppy on walks at least 2-3 times a day. Because Milo is still a puppy having another dog will also help his energy levels.

About: I am currently only accepting hypoallergenic dogs for boarding and doggy daycare! These include but are not limited to: Bichon, Poodles (or any doodle), Yorkies, Maltese, and Schnauzer. I own two dogs, one is a young Miniature Goldendoodle that I have had since she was a couple of months old, and the other is a senior Toy Poodle that I have had since she was 5 years old. I have 10 years of experience caring for animals and always research how to best care for the animal in question. I have 2 years of experience with professional pet sitting. I am currently a student living at home, so I have plenty of time to care for pets, especially since I care for my own. I am available most of the week, every week. My yard is unfenced; however, we do have a chicken-wire fence in the backyard for my own dog, who has plenty of space to run around and play. We have lots of toys for your fur baby, and a kind and playful dog to keep your fur baby company. I can crate small dogs, but do not have large enough crates for large or medium dogs. If caring for your pet at your home, I can ensure your fur baby gets lots of playtime and walks.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have also worked as a dog walker, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve cared for Labs for years and have experience with walks, runs, senior dogs, administering medication, and keeping pets on their normal routines. I love getting to know each dog and making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be home throughout the day. About: I have a medium size calm dog Judo who loves the company of other dogs. I have been caring for my own dogs since 2014, and started Rover in 2018. I also foster dogs for local rescues and especially have experience with shy dogs that need help trusting people. Because of allergies, dogs are not allowed on furniture or in the bedroom. We only take one dog at a time to insure your lovely pup gets the attention they deserve. We only accept dogs that are fully house trained. Accidents happen, but please do not send your dog over if they already have urinary or digestive problems. Please understand that we only accept fully vaccinated dogs to protect the health of our resident dog. Before booking with us for the first time, we recommend a meet n greet to ensure a good fit. I work from home and my schedule is pretty flexible. Potty breaks in the yard available throughout the day. Two walks a day with my dog and park visits on weekends. All interactions between dogs will be monitored. When I’m not around I will keep them separate in the first three days until I am confident that they get along. Food will be provided separately and toys will not be left around.

She sent pictures, videos, and updates multiple times a day, which gave me so much peace of mind and let me enjoy my trip knowing my pup was in the best hands. She was also wonderfully flexible when I needed to drop Chewie off earlier than planned. The moment we arrived, Chewie instantly took to her warm and loving nature—it was clear he felt safe and at home right away. Her yard is a dog’s dream: huge, fully fenced, and completely safe. Chewie had so much room to run, sniff, explore, and play—definitely more than he gets at our house! And her sweet dog Rascal deserves a special shoutout for being so patient with Chewie’s endless puppy energy and attempts to jump all over him.
