“Thank you. Yeah, he can get a little down when I’m gone. He also enjoys laying in my bed and looking out the window since he is so high up. Thank you for the update.”

“She was great. Patient and loving to my boy, she was very understanding of his quirks and the fact that he’s unaware that he’s a massive slab of muscle and not a 5 lb yorkie. Genuinely loved having her watch Koda.”

“Kelly was exceptional at watching my 2 cats while I was away. There were daily updates with pics and a short narrative of how the cats were doing. That is always appreciated. She made some great suggestions, and they worked perfectly. Communication was excellent as well. I will book Kally for future cat sitting.”

“Sofia is wonderful with both our cats. Our cat Jasper loves her and she gives him lots of pets and attention when she visits. She even went above and beyond to find our cat Rosie who hides to check on her and take her photo - not easy! Our Rosie makes hiding an art form! I highly recommend Sofia to everyone!”

About: Hey there! I have experience with all kinds of animals. I’ve fostered big dogs, worked with horses in equine assisted therapy, and have pet-sitted cats as well as currently have my own two cats. I love walking and am always looking to get my steps in. My two cats are harnessed trained and enjoy going on walks. I am currently looking for a full-time job and have a part-time from 2-6 pm every weekday. This allows me to be flexible and to drop by in the morning or in the evening. I am very observant and careful when dog walking. I am always on the lookout for possible dog stressors like cars, people, or other dogs. I am very respectful of any home I am in. Our pets have mental health problems just like us and I strive to create a calming and enjoyable environment for all furry friends.
“Jacob is awesome! He walked Chip and Ellie and made sure to give our cat, Cowboy, attention too. He kept us updated with quick communication throughout the visit and left a detailed review afterward. He has super positive energy and our animals were so excited to meet him during our initial meet & greet. I would absolutely hire Jacob again and highly recommend him.”

About: I am a responsible and reliable professional. I have learned to use positive reinforcement with my dogs and would enjoy helping with your pet care needs. I am recently retired. I would to schedule walks/visits between 10:00 am and 3:30 pm, but can expand this upon discussion. I am available weekdays in Ashburn and when Loudoun Schools are in session. If I am fortunate to care for your pet, our agreed upon time is my top priority for those days. I can also be flexible in the case additional time is needed. If I am fortunate enough to care for your pet the goal is to keep their routine as close to when you are there. I pay attention to detail and follow instructions for feeding, exercise, and any other routines. I will treat your pet and home respectfully, clean and secure. Throughout our time together I will maintain a watchful eye for any changes in your pets behavior or health, and I keep you updated for peace of mind. This is how I care for our two dogs, Maverick and Penny. I can also incorporate some short positive reinforcement activities. I use this for 5 to 10 minutes daily with my dogs and they thrive in wanting to work for the reinforcement. Your pet(s) will have %100 of my attention.

“Heather was so wonderful with my two older kitties. She provided prompt updates and photos when she visited, so I felt at ease about their care while we were gone for a few days. She kept up with the clean up as well (my oldest cat misses the litter box sometimes) and it was great to come home to a clean litter box area! Highly recommend this very sweet pet sitter!”

“Kayla B was great with our dogs! She showed up right on time and gave them lots of attention during her drop in's. It was the first time ever leaving them alone overnight and just doing a drop in but it went great!!!! Kayla was great and we will definitely use her again!!!”

About: I’ve always had a dog as a part of my life growing up ever since I was 6. In more recent years, I was the co-pet parent of a dog for roughly 3 years, and I’d like to think he turned out pretty well. I have some decent knowledge and experience when it comes to handling and training dogs, namely by encouraging desired behaviors through positive reinforcement. While my experience may not be the most comprehensive, I’d like to think I more than make up for it with my love for dogs! Some day I’d love to have one of my own, but with my current life schedule and commitments, it’s just not in the cards for me. I’ve recently had the privilege of dipping my toes into fostering pups, which has taught me a lot about caring for a dog by myself. In the meantime, I’m perfectly content walking, caring for, and loving your dog just as if it was my own! I currently work full time 9-5 (generally) M-F, but I do have periods of flexibility when I can come walk/pet sit during the day. I’m also able to take some days of the week remote. I do have some after work commitments during the week days, but they’re relatively minimal, flexible, and I’m willing to work with you to find out what works best for you, me, and your pup! I have a fairly good understanding of dog body language and mannerisms and will, under no circumstances, put your dog in any position of discomfort in your home or on our walks. I will be sure to give your dog plenty of attention and playtime, but not to the extent that the dog feels uncomfortable or threatened by me. When it comes to walks, your dog is the boss-it’s their time to sniff, exercise, and do their business while I’m just along to chaperone them. That being said, I’ll make sure to avoid any altercations with other dogs or people by limiting those interactions on walks.
About: I’ve grown up with animals in the house my whole life! Both dogs and cats! I love walking my moms dog max, he’s the perfect amount of energetic and laid back all in one! Pet sitting I’ve been doing for awhile too, usually I’ll throw in a walk everyday, play a little, give them lots of love! Animals have always loved me, I’m very laid back, athletic, caring, and affectionate when it comes to the cute fur balls out there. I’m assertive when it comes to commands and dogs have always listened to me... cats on the other hand, you know, they have a mind of their own haha. I would love to be your sitter/ dog walker any day of the week! - Abbie

Nicole was great taking care of our cats! She came over to meet them and ensure she understood where everything was located, what they needed, and see if I had any questions or specific requests. She sent a note and pictures after every visit and left things in great condition. I would definitely use her when we go out of town again!

Kayla was so wonderful! She went above and beyond with our dog Duke, making sure he was adequately cared for. They took really nice long walks and she even went back to check on him an additional time even though we didn’t book/pay for it. She was incredibly communicative and sent photos so we could enjoy our time away 💗 We will absolutely be rebooking in the future!

Sofia was great!! There was a mixup with addresses in the system and she did not hesitate to turn around and go to the right address, which was 15 minutes the opposite way that she went. She made sure my pup went out, got his meds, and was back happy inside. Definitely recommend her!

Jenny was the perfect pet sitter for our three cats! She was kind, patient, and very attentive to their individual needs and seemed to genuinely enjoy spending time with them. She left beautifully written and lengthy updates after each visit and included so many cute photos of all the cats playing, eating, and enjoying her attention. I’m so grateful to have had her looking after our kitties and will definitely be booking with her again 😊💕

Awesome. Amazing. Wonderful. Sabbath is still part feral and Angela completely got that he needs more of an “aide with opposable thumbs” than a friend. Getting ready to book more dates. Felt so good to have someone I knew would make sure Sabbath had everything he needed.

We can't say enough good things about Erin! She took wonderful care of our two cats, Mira and Bella, while we were away. Mira is very skittish and usually hides from new people, but Erin was so patient with her. She coaxed her out with treats and wet food and read able to earn her trust. That meant a lot to us, since we know Mira can be hard to win over. Bella, on the other hand, is always hungry, and Erin kept her happy and kept an eye on the feeder hopper and let Bella know it was almost dinner time. Erin also gave Bella her pill with only a little protest from Bella, which was a big relief. Beyond the cats, Erin was on top of everything around the house. She kept the litter boxes and surrounding area clean, brought in the newspaper, took care of the trash can, and watered our plants. We came home to a tidy house and two content, relaxed cats. Though they were very happy to see us. Erin was also a great communicator. She kept us updated throughout our trip, so we never had to wonder how things were going. It's hard to leave your pets, but Erin gave us total peace of mind. We'd absolutely book Erin again and highly recommend her to any cat owner, especially if you have a shy cat who needs a little extra patience!

Kayla B was great with our dogs! She showed up right on time and gave them lots of attention during her drop in's. It was the first time ever leaving them alone overnight and just doing a drop in but it went great!!!! Kayla was great and we will definitely use her again!!!

I'd tell everyone that they should work with Brooke, but I'm afraid that if I do she may not have time for my Sadie :) But seriously, you should work with Brooke. She's so caring and thoughtful with my pup and I feel more peaceful leaving Sadie knowing that Brooke is going to check in on her.

Kelsey is the most amazing cat sitter we've ever gotten. She was prompt in her daily updates with pictures and a message of how it went. She is thoughtful, cared for our cat as if he was her own, and assessed how he was feeling every visit which allowed her to gage what she needed to provide (extra play time, a treat, etc). We are definitely going to hit up Kelsey again and are grateful for everything she has done while we were away!!

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
