I have had a Husky and Labrador Retriever, a Rottweiller, and I currently have a Goldendoodle that I have cared for since she was a puppy. I used to dog sit/walk for friends and family members, and have multiple years of experience on Rover. Now I hope to help take care of your dog too! I have taken care of many dogs ranging from Papillions to Great Danes. I love interacting with all breeds of dogs. I am available Thursday through Sunday. I would be happy to care for your dog! I work a hybrid schedule and will typically be available Thursday through Sunday to do walks, house sit, or do drop in visits for your pet. I always make sure doors and other entrances are closed and locked upon entry and exit. Your pet will always have food and water according to owner instructions.
About: I've taken care of animals for several years, including my volunteer work at the Loudoun County animal shelter and the several trainings I've went through there. I've been trained to take care of several animals fear free, including rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, and dogs. I also attend Michigan State on the pre-veterinary track! I work part-time and attend school during the fall and spring but I'd love to take care of your pets during the summer and winter when I'm home! Our dog can be a bit particular, but Marti clearly understood him and made sure he got just the right balance of activity, affection, and quiet time. She even noticed when he was a little more anxious and made sure to help him walk it off and settle with his favorite kong. We are so pleased to write a review for Marcia! She remembered every detail that we shared with her about caring for our sweet kitty, Coco. She was conscientious, and arrived on time, telling us about each visit and sending photos and videos. Coco is a kitty who likes to hide from her sitters, but she made an exception for Marcia.
