Available Monday through Friday before 2:00 PM and for overnight stays. I’m very flexible, so if you need a specific hour, just reach out and we can work it out! About: I’ve had pets around my home since I was five years old and my family adopted my cats Rex and Sally, a bonded brother/sister pair. From that young age I was always expected and taught to help with the pets’ care, even the less glamorous parts. Later in my life we adopted my dog, Bella, who I diligently made sure got her daily walks, play, and food. While Rex and Sally have unfortunately passed (Sally in 2018 and Rex in 2025 at the age of 21), I currently still have two lovely kitties, both of which have very different personalities (one is very affectionate and the other is skittish), and I always ensure to accommodate the both of them and their unique needs for their boundaries. I work part time and am also a student, so my main availability is mornings and late afternoons/evenings. Though, my schedule often works out that I have plenty of hours to take care of furry friends! At my house I have plenty of toys and stimulation set up for my two cats, and it’s the same when I’m visiting my dog (she currently lives out of state with my dad). I always make sure to learn a pet’s individual personality and cater how I care for them to it! I know some animals absolutely adore a high level of energy, while others respond better to calmness, and I’m always sure to factor that in for whatever I’m doing for them.
About: My family got our first and only dog in 2019, a jack Russel Chihuahua named Sadie. She was very energetic despite her age and loved attention, people and especially children. I'm not as good at grooming dogs as I am cats (ie nail trimming) but I can bathe and brush any dog's teeth or coat. Every day I care for my 2 cats and bearded dragon. I'm unemployed at this time so I have all the time in the world to care for your pets. Some may say that the hardest part about owning a cat is their claws but I've trimmed even the most unruly kitties nails in my time. Even my friends dog Teddy probably loves me more than her 😂

Pets in the Home I have an intact male Cocker Spaniel and a Maine Coon cat living in my home. For this reason, I do not accept unspayed females. 2. Number of Pets I accept pets from ONE family at a time — maximum two dogs. I do not host pets from multiple families at the same time so I can give my full attention to your pet. 3. Required Documentation Before confirming your booking, I require proof from a licensed veterinarian of: * Rabies vaccination * DHPP vaccination * Date of the most recent deworming treatment 4. Dog Size and Breeds I accept small and medium-sized dogs of all breeds. Dogs over 40 pounds are accepted ONLY if they are f they are friendly with other dogs and cats. 5. Walks and Daily Routine. I only work 16–20 hours per week, so I am able to easily provide three 30-minute walks per day: * 7:30–8:00 AM * 1:30–2:00 PM * 7:30–8:00 PM This schedule allows me to give your pet plenty of attention and keep them under close supervision throughout the day. If you are boarding a puppy, I can adjust my schedule to provide walks every 2 hours (until 10:00 PM). Longer walks can be arranged separately. There is a 4-mile trail near my home where we enjoy walking during the spring and fall. 6. Medications I can administer oral medications if prescribed by a veterinarian. I do not administer injections. 7. My home is always clean, odor-free, and smoke-free — I believe this is essential for your pet’s health and well-being. 8. Valerie is amazing! She was incredibly kind and caring with our kitties, took wonderful care of them, and even went above and beyond by helping with a few extra tasks while we were away. For example, she brought in the many packages we received during our trip, which was extremely helpful. She provided lots of pictures of our kitties during every visit, including photos of their food station and litter boxes, so we could see that everything was clean, neat, and well cared for. We could also tell that the kitties really loved her! They are usually very shy and don’t warm up to new people quickly, so seeing how comfortable they were with Valerie meant so much to us. We are extremely happy with her care and truly appreciate all the help, kindness, and attention Valerie provided. She did an excellent job, and we would absolutely recommend her!
