She also managed to coax out Manny, who doesn't like change and spooks easily, and get him to not only be in the same room but actually let her pet him. Moe was his usual attention-seeking self and she kept him happy too. Mercedez was great with communication and providing pictures the entire time we were gone. I have had a Husky and Labrador Retriever, a Rottweiller, and I currently have a Goldendoodle that I have cared for since she was a puppy. I used to dog sit/walk for friends and family members, and have multiple years of experience on Rover. Now I hope to help take care of your dog too! I have taken care of many dogs ranging from Papillions to Great Danes. I love interacting with all breeds of dogs. I am available Thursday through Sunday. I would be happy to care for your dog! I work a hybrid schedule and will typically be available Thursday through Sunday to do walks, house sit, or do drop in visits for your pet. I always make sure doors and other entrances are closed and locked upon entry and exit. Your pet will always have food and water according to owner instructions.
About: I've had the joy of caring for my elderly beagle for several years, and that experience has given me a deep understanding of a dog’s needs—especially when it comes to patience, gentle handling, and attentiveness. From slow strolls to knowing when they need extra comfort, I’ve learned how to support dogs at all stages of life. I bring that same care, calm energy, and reliability to every walk and visit. I’m dog walking on a part time basis, except Tuesdays and Thursdays, but can be available some weekends. I am also local for holidays so can be available. Since I used to have an elderly dog, I am familiar with the different parks and also have a pet friendly rooftop area in my apartment building.

I have been a routine dog walker and sitter. I love pets and I want to share my love with your fur babies! I also have some veterinary tech experience with injection animals with medication. I can only let out pets every 8 hours and sometimes stop by midday during lunch. I am available weekends and able to stay overnight with them. We had a wonderful experience! Simba can be a little shy with new people, so it meant a lot to hear that he quickly warmed up, was purring, playing, and showing his goofy personality. The detailed update and photos gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We especially appreciated the attention to his feeding, litter, and playtime. It was clear that Simba was well cared for and comfortable. We’d be happy to book again!
Kayla is a wonderful Rover! She was communicative while we were away and sent lots of photos of our furbabies. We are new to the area and our home and had some technology issues with our lock. She was patient and kind as we worked through these challenges. Highly recommend!
Chelsea is such a wonderful sitter! We were thrilled she was available on such relatively short notice, too! She takes great care with Hank and Zozo and really tries to win them over (and succeeds!!) Chelsea also goes above and beyond: bringing in any mail/deliveries, and putting out food for the strays we take care of, too. We highly recommend Chelsea!!
Loved how Yvette cared for our cats while we were away! She was very responsible, attentive, and clearly cared about their well-being. Communication was excellent — she kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. We came back to two healthy and happy cats :) Would definitely recommend her and would absolutely ask her to care for our cats again!
Nice job with our pet visits. She def cares about animals as she rescued an injured bird that had flown into our glass door minutes before we left for the airport. Our home was the way we left it, and she sent plenty of pics to ease our worries about leaving them
