“This is an absolutely fantastic choice for a dog-sitter, in my mind. Leslie was loving, caring and she treated Frances, my terrier-dachshund with the closest and kindest attention—plenty of walks, balanced diet, happy human company to sleep with when she desired, and various places to rest—so Leslie passed those all those important measures.She also sent me photographs with comments fairly often, which delighted me and made me know that Frances was safe and happy! But then, of Great value was the fact that she always could find positive human companionship—her cousin came, and let Frances and another dog, sleep on his knee, looking utterly content, her roommate really liked Frances and showed it, and Leslie did too. AND there was always her dog, and then occasionally a neighbor’s dog or another client’s dog visiting for a number of hours. That was Heaven for Frances, and just what I was hoping for. A place where Frances could be, as Leslie put it, a member of a pack. NOT a large, in any way overwhelming pack, but a small pack, consisting of one or two or conceivably three other dogs, which she could be with. THAT and the essential human warmth which was very much present—was all I could dream of—and Leslie provided it. Thank you so, so much. I will definitely use her services again! I just can't say enough wonderful things about my experience with Katrina. It was just like leaving my two sibling Schnauzers with trusted family. It is obvious that she loves dogs and my pups were instantly comfortable around her. Katrina asked many questions about the pups prior to their stay, so I was very comfortable that she was very invested in their well being. She also has many friends and family that came to love on the pups, and I know they were well comforted, taken care off and entertained. She sent me many pictures and updates to assure me that the pups were comfortable in their surroundings. She lives in such a beautiful area with many nice walking trails which they loved. I will definitely be using Katrina in the future as my pet sitter!!
Robert and Connie are absolutely incredible sitters! I cannot recommend them enough. They took phenomenally good care of my dog, Gian. Gian needed daily ear drops during his stay, and they handled his medication perfectly without any issues. They are so patient and loving, Robert even comforted Gian in the middle of the night when he was a little restless with his toy! They sent me the most detailed, wonderful updates and adorable photos every single day. They paid so much attention to all of Gian's little quirks that I honestly feel they took even better care of him than I do! This was my first time leaving my little girl and I was a bit anxious about it. From the time I had my meet and greet with Jennifer to the time I picked her up Jennifer has been super flexible and very responsive. She sent me the greatest pics and allowed me to enjoy the vacation without a worry. I have a feeling she was sad to go home 😊.
Kim was incredible with our Mini Goldendoodle (Biscuit) this past weekend! She was super responsive and easy to coordinate with from the start and being here in Brambleton made drop-off and pick-up seamless. She kept us updated with photos and videos throughout the stay, and you could tell immediately how much affection and attention she gave Biscuit. She even took Biscuit along for a fun afternoon at a local winery! On top of that, Biscuit made a new friend with her dog, Buddy. Biscuit came home thoroughly spoiled, super happy, and honestly a little sad to leave. It’s such a relief finding a local sitter you can completely trust to treat your dog like family. Highly recommend!!!
Jenny was amazing. To begin with, she and her family are just super nice. Jenny sent us pictures of our dogs every day taking walks and enjoying the home environment. The main thing that gets Jenny 5 stars is that our dogs are super attached to us and their daily routines, but when we picked them up, they were happy, content and not anxious at all. While we talked a bit, the dogs took turns going between us and Jenny and her husband to get attention. We could not have asked for them to be in better spirits after a full week away.
