Hi! I’m Karmen — but I go by Kim 😊 I’ve loved dogs all my life and can’t imagine a home without them. I’m a doodle mom to Buddy, my sweet 4.5-year-old mini Goldendoodle, who loves making new friends and having a buddy of his own. I offer calm, loving, in-home care for non-shedding or very low-shedding dogs and poodle mixes under 50 lbs, including mini or smaller versions of Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Bernedoodles, Cavapoos, Cockapoos, Lagottos, Maltipoos, Sheepadoodles, Poodles, and other similar family-friendly pups. Since I work from home, your dog will receive plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. I often care for dogs for neighbors and friends, and I’ve enjoyed it so much that I decided to open my home to more furry guests through Rover. My home is best suited for friendly, house-trained dogs who enjoy being part of a peaceful, loving home environment. I’m especially a great fit for active pups between 1 and 10 years old who enjoy walks, attention, and companionship with Buddy. Because I work from home and spend part of my day on calls, dogs must be comfortable settling independently and remaining quiet when briefly separated on another floor or resting in their crate. Dogs who experience significant separation distress, bark, or whine continuously when they cannot be beside someone may not be the best fit for my home. I also keep a later evening schedule, so my home is not the best fit for early risers. Dogs must be comfortable sleeping quietly until at least 8:00 a.m. Dogs who routinely whine, bark, or need to be taken outside before 8:00 a.m. will not be a good fit. For everyone’s safety and comfort, I’m unable to accommodate reactive dogs. Guests must be easy to manage on walks and able to pass other dogs without lunging, excessive barking, growling, or pulling. They should also be friendly and comfortable sharing a home with Buddy. Your dog will be treated like family here — not just boarded, but truly cared for. I keep the environment clean, calm, and comfortable, and I’m happy to follow your dog’s routine closely so they feel safe and right at home. For added convenience, I also offer pick-up and drop-off within a 10-mile radius for an additional fee of $25 each way 🚗🐾 I can’t wait to meet your pup and help them feel safe, loved, and right at home!

Kim was incredible with our Mini Goldendoodle (Biscuit) this past weekend! She was super responsive and easy to coordinate with from the start and being here in Brambleton made drop-off and pick-up seamless. She kept us updated with photos and videos throughout the stay, and you could tell immediately how much affection and attention she gave Biscuit. She even took Biscuit along for a fun afternoon at a local winery! On top of that, Biscuit made a new friend with her dog, Buddy. Biscuit came home thoroughly spoiled, super happy, and honestly a little sad to leave. It’s such a relief finding a local sitter you can completely trust to treat your dog like family. Highly recommend!!!
Ms. Karmen is a dream come true. I could not ask for a more wonderful caretaker for my big boy Clover. She showed Clover so much love and cared for him as if he were her own. I sincerely appreciated all the care shown to Clover. Karmen definitely deserves a 10 + +. Thank you so much Karmen!
Karmen (Kim) did a fantastic job of taking care of our dog Amber. She was very kind to Amber and really spoiled her! Amber was walked and well fed each day and by the time we picked her up she had become part of Karmen’s home! We received photos and updates each day. I am glad I decided to leave Amber with Karmen and not a kennel.
Kim was amazing. She took great care of our Izzy, and treated Izzy like her own. We appreciate the updates and pictures that she sent throughout the stay. Highly recommend!

I work from home, so I have plenty of time to give your pup the attention they deserve! My days naturally include regular walks, play breaks, and cuddle time—it’s one of the best parts of my routine. Caring for dogs fits easily into my day, and I genuinely love having their company throughout the week.

A typical day
A typical day in our home starts with a cheerful morning walk around the neighborhood—Buddy (my mini Goldendoodle) loves to lead the way! After breakfast, I settle in to work from home while the pups relax nearby or enjoy some playtime. Throughout the day, we take several walks and play fetch or tug-of-war to get energy out. There are plenty of cuddle breaks, belly rubs, and quiet time too. In the evening, we wind down with one last walk and some cozy downtime before bed. Each dog’s routine is personalized based on their needs—whether that means extra walks, more playtime, or extra snuggles. Your doodle will feel right at home here!
