Availability

We are early morning risers, waking up between 4-6 am most mornings. As soon as we wake up, we immediately go out for our first potty break of the day, followed by breakfast (doggie puppucinnos treats) and then another potty break and individual walk early am. During the day, we take quick 5-10 minute potty breaks throughout the day. In the evenings, we have dinner typically around 4-5 pm, followed by a walk/potty break about 20 minutes after eating. In the evenings during the week and/or especially weekends, we love to do longer walks (averaging 2.5-3 miles) for exercise and great health - always weather permitting. I work a hybrid full-time corporate job and am remote during the week, except for Wednesdays, I am in-office and will be away from home from approx. 8 am. until 3 pm. During this time frame, Lotus and your loved one will keep each other company until I arrive home and get them immediately out for a potty break and walk!

Safety, trust & environment

We always feed our doggies separately giving them their own private space and dedicated time to eat. We use doggie gates and separate them (Lotus, our doggie, likes to eat other doggies food because it's interesting, tasty and different from her food! :). We walk each doggie individually giving them their own time and dedicated attention outside. We do have a large crate, if needed, but we don't normally crate anyone unless for a specific reason such as interaction with another doggie we are caring for...the crate is left open and available if your doggie likes to have their own space and/or for feeding. Normally, smaller sized doggies are upstairs on our second level with my daughter and frequently sleep in her room with her. Our home and environment are quiet, peaceful and loving and your doggie will be relaxed in our home. We are very committed to being dependable and giving your doggie the best care while you are away!

Information Deborah M. would like to know about your pet

It would be important to know any and all preferences that your doggie has so we can make sure they have the absolute best doggie vacation with us and we can cater to their personal needs :) For safety reasons, we unfortunately are not able to host any doggies that display aggressive or extreme territorial behavior in our home. Please include in your Rover profile your local vets name, address and telephone number, an emergency contact and your doggie's complete current vaccination records (Canine Rabies, DHPP Canine Vaccine, Bordetella, Flea/Tick Preventative). Please make sure to send us vaccination records 24 hours prior to your doggie's stay with us! You can also send them to us by taking a picture with your phone and sending us a message through the Rover app! We do book up quickly and now have our regular furr-ever families we love and care for. We encourage you to contact us as soon as possible when you need care and get booked and confirmed in Rover. Please keep in mind that bookings remain "tentative" until paid for and fully confirmed in Rover. We only care for up to 3 doggies at a time and depending on size, breeds and mix of doggies we have during any chosen dates, we make the determination of who we can host so we encourage you to book early and get confirmed in Rover as soon as possible :). Please note that we recognize the value of time and have a busy schedule. We plan our day around any scheduled meet & greets for first time doggies, drop offs and pick-ups, etc. We give a 10 minute grace period for any meet and greets; then they will have to be rescheduled. For any changes to drop off times or pick up times, please let us know in advance so that we can make sure we are ready & available for you! We respect your time and planning and allow for flexibility but need advance notice of any schedule changes. Finally, may your doggie enjoy a Starbucks Puppucino (ie: whipped cream treat) with Lotus in the early mornings? We love treating them to pup cups and/or doggie ice cream during their doggie vacations with us! We look forward to meeting all our new friends and making them and you a part of our extended furr-ever family. We are thankful for the opportunity to host your precious loved one in our home and guarantee a content and happy time with us while you enjoy your time away!

We love our Furr-ever Furry Friends

Pet care experience

My daughter and I love our furr baby, Lotus, and would love to take care of yours too! Lotus is a very friendly, sweet & playful 4.5 year old female Labradoodle who loves having doggie friends over to play chase and as companions. My daughter loves smaller sized doggies and we are all excited to offer local NoVA doggie vacations & boarding services in our cozy, peaceful, quiet, playful and loving townhome in Belmont Greene (Ashburn). We offer boutique services with a focus on very personalized, high quality in-home care for your beloved doggie. We cater our care to the personal needs of your doggie and all their preferences just like they are at home. We will walk them individually several times a day and give them lots of attention and love. They will become a part of our extended furr-ever family! We will send daily updates and an abundance of photos and videos to you during their stay so you feel connected to them while you are away. We promise to make drop-off and pick-up of your beloved doggie extremely easy and convenient for you during every visit! We will be ready for your arrival on the first day for an easy, quick and convenient drop off and transition with us and for pick-up we will have all their things cleaned, packed and ready for you upon departure. We know how important this is for when you are traveling or have plans and how stressful this can be. We will always be ready to make this process convenient and helpful to you! We started Rover as a family together in May 2025, however, I grew up with and have been a dog lover and owner of a variety of breeds all my life. We love them all and enjoy hosting them in our home and making them a part of our extended furr-ever family! We have lots of great places to walk and exercise nearby and will enjoy frequent walks with your doggie (weather permitting). We also have a basket of a variety of doggie toys for them to enjoy during their stay (we encourage you to bring any of their personal items that might make your doggie even more comfortable and at home with us - ie. doggie beds, their favorite cozy blanket with the scent of home, slow feeders, favorite chew bone or any preferred treats, etc.). It is extremely helpful if their food is put in individual snack sized baggies already portioned out for each day (not required, of course, but very helpful to us to have the exact portions). We also highly recommend pill pockets for any medications for doggies (owner provided please) - these are also helpful in administering medications. We have invested in a large doggie water fountain with a 3 layer filtration system so that everyone has fresh water all the time. Food bowls are optional as we have many stainless steel bowls for feeding and unless you prefer a specific food bowl such as a slow feeder, we have you covered with clean stainless steel food bowls and the filtered doggie water fountain... :) Please bring all supplies that are needed for any "special" care of your doggie (some common examples include pet wipes for face or paws, pill pockets for any medications, any special preferred doggie treats, etc.). We have a large open crate (dimensions are 42" long x 29" wide by 31" tall) and a small doggie playpen if your doggie likes their own space or sleeps/relaxes in a crate. We don't typically crate anyone in our home except for feeding separately or if necessary for separation -- then we will rotate play and walking time. As a way to give back to our local community and doggies waiting for their furr-ever homes, we have partnered with Loudoun County Animal Shelter (LCAS) and will donate doggie treats/food for every overnight stay with us of 3 nights or more! We thank you and are grateful for you choosing us to care for your loved one while you are away!

Deborah, her daughter, and their sweet pup, Lotus, were amazing! Pepper can have a hard time being away from us and they made her feel right at home and pampered her with love, cuddles, and all the routines that help her feel happy and relaxed. I will definitely be booking with them again the next time we have to go out of town. You should definitely do the same!!!

Deborah saved us! On the way back from our trip, we first had a flight delay. 2 hours later on the tarmac, we returned to the airport. An hour later, our evening flight was cancelled, and not rescheduled. Deborah was the one thing we didn’t have to stress about - she graciously accepted the extra day, and continued to send us happy pup photos and videos. Amazing communication, flexible , and my pup comes home exhausted from all the fun! 10/10

Deborah and Lotus are AMAZING. They took just wonderful care of my nervous nelly Sweetpea and he was right at home there for a week. Deborah sent lots of pictures of walks, playing, and Sweetpea curled up happily snoozing and I felt so reassured knowing he was in great hands. We will be repeat customers for sure! THANK YOU!!!!!

If I could give Deb more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Leaving Baxter for 25 days was something we were genuinely nervous about, but Deb made the entire experience completely stress-free. From day one, it was obvious that Baxter wasn’t just being boarded—he became part of her family. Every single day, we looked forward to the adorable updates, photos, and videos that showed just how much fun he was having. Deb even treated him to his favorite daily pup cups, which quickly became one of the highlights of his vacation! The Memorial Day photo shoot was beyond adorable and is something we’ll treasure for years. It perfectly captured Baxter’s happy personality and the extra effort Deb puts into making every dog feel special. What impressed us most was the genuine love and attention she gave Baxter. She continued to learn his personality, spoiled him with affection, made sure he stayed active, and gave him the comfort and companionship he needed while we were away. Every update reassured us that he was safe, happy, and incredibly well cared for. When we picked him up, he was relaxed, healthy, and honestly looked like he had just returned from his own vacation. That’s the greatest compliment we can give. Thank you, Deb, for the priceless love, the endless cuddles, the daily pup cups, the amazing photo memories, and for treating Baxter like one of your own. We are so grateful to have found someone we trust completely, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with you again. Baxter can’t wait for his next stay!
