Lydia took Kira on a nice walk and was able to help Kira with her obedience training (per our request) since Lydia has experience training dogs. It was a great experience for Kira since she also got to play with Lydia's children as well as meet their chickens! We would recommend Lydia and will definitely call on her again for Kira's care!”

About: In my adult life I have had my current dog who is 12 and traveled the world with me on trains, airplanes in Europe, Hawaii and the continental US. I know how hard it is to leave your dog when you need to be away and I want to help those in need with an affordable, safe and friendly pet care option. I currently work from home and have lots of room to accommodate to your dog’s needs. Both my dogs have successfully interacted with small and large breed dogs as well as children. The dogs go out multiple times each day and are free to roam around the house or stay set in their little cave, whatever your pet prefers. I have a fenced in yard and two large and friendly dogs to accompany your dog. My property is on 5 acres so there is plenty of room to run.

About: I grew up with Dogs, Cats, Goats, Chicken and a Hamster! I love animals and treat any like they are my own! I’m very flexible and understanding to short notice care I work from home and sometimes have to travel to DC! I’m available whenever! I’m an early riser! Let me know when I can help you out! About: I've own animals all my life and my daughter set me up for dog walking and I realized that I absolutely love it. I have always been passionate about helping and working with animals but the shelter I had volunteered at a long time ago was kind of a depressing environment so that wasn't the best place for me. I couldn't stand animals not finding homes and back then part of the job was putting them down and I couldn't do that. After that experience I never tried to work professionally with animals until somewhat recently when my daughter showed me some apps and got me started. Being able to help people and their dogs or cats has really given me a purpose. I currently watch my granddaughter Tuesdays during the work day but can always pick up a walk after dropping her off. I work mostly on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I have a fenced in backyard where dogs can go out and play. I try to make sure that when boarding dogs in my home I take them out for at least one or two longer walks and just really use the backyard for quick bathroom breaks. I have my own dog who is fantastic with all other dogs who will be in my home.
