About: My kids (13-19) and I can offer a safe, happy home, companionship and plenty of play time to your furry friend(s) while you're away! Being semi-retired allows me to dedicate more time to caring for pets. I frequently assist friends and family with pet care when they travel. My life basically revolves around my 3 teenagers, volunteering and bike riding when possible. Your pet will always have company in our home, with plenty of walks and playtime. My children, especially my daughters, love and enjoy their companionship.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs and hamsters. I grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes, spanning from a bully mix, to an Alaskan malamute, to black labs, and Chihuahuas too! Getting to know each animal individually, and getting to know their quirks and personalities is the best part! I currently work eight hours a day seven days a week. I can be there to pet sit in the evenings or let dogs out on potty breaks in the early morning or sometime past 5:30 PM. I can spend up to three hours with your pup for drop ins, and of course I would give all of my attention for the 8+ hours I would be there to pet sit. I follow any and all instructions given to me by pet owners. I’ve spent a long time getting to know, body language, and social cues from dogs. I will never push their boundaries.
“Everything went well with Alex and my three kitties, although we had an extremely shy cat that hid from her. Now that Alex has met her, she is a little less scared. If available, I will book Alex again. I am grateful that she was available during Christmas.,”

“Liberty was fantastic looking after our pup, Luke! She provided detailed updates and lots of pictures at every check-in. We were really reassured leaving our pup in such good hands. Thanks, Liberty!!”

About: I have plenty of experience working with senior dogs and reactive dogs, and I’m comfortable with drop-ins for feedings & playtime. There’s no greater joy in life than being able to connect with someone’s furry, absolutely adorable soulmate! As a cat owner and long time dog walker, I always make sure to prioritize your pet’s health and comfort with lots of patience, love, and pets / treats ♥️ On weekdays, I do work typical business hours, (9-5ish), but I am available in the early mornings before work as well as in the evenings. On the weekends, I am more available. If someone was in my home, I would want to make sure they prioritize my pet’s safety and my home’s integrity. When I am looking after your pet, I’m also making sure I am respecting your space while making sure your pet feels comfortable with me in theirs.
About: I have owned dogs for over 25 years. I currently have two younger dogs, a 2 years old Goldendoodle and a 1 years old Bernedoodle. Prior to them we had two labradoodle sisters. Looking to help keep myself a little bit busy. I am flexible with my time and that sets me apart from most. I am currently only offering dog walking, feeding and/or letting your dog(s) out in your fenced in yard. Whichever you prefer and works for your dog needs

Lea was great! She was available for mid-day drop-in visits for our 2 cockapoos while I was out of town and my husband had to work while I was gone. She left notes everyday for my husband letting us know how her visits with Oliver and Penny went. Very helpful! I definitely will call on Lea again when I have to go out of town again. Thanks so much, Lea!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
