“Lea took great care of our two cats while we were away. From our first meeting, the cats immediately took to her; we could tell she got along great with cats and knew all the best spots for ear scratches and petting. I loved the photo updates during our trip, and the detailed notes she left. When we got home the litter box was well maintained, there were no messes, and the cats were happy and fed! It was great peace of mind to have Lea looking after our cats.”

“Ashley was great, caring, friendly, and provided the best updates. Spooky is chronically ill and I felt fully safe and trusted her in Ashley’s care. I can’t recommend enough!”

About: I started taking care of neighbors' and friends' dogs, cats, fish, hamsters and birds when I was 14 years old. I love animals and wildlife of all kinds. I have been a cat and dog mom for 28 years and have had 2 leash and dog-reactive dogs (strong, 60 pound+ mutt and pit bull) so I am experienced in dealing with these situations. I have strong situational awareness with my head on a swivel when walking dogs. My senior kitty required specialized medical care at the end of her life with daily prescription medication and subcutaneous fluids. I have volunteered as a dog walker and cat snuggler at Friends of Homeless Animals rescue. I have been a social worker for 30 years and am nearing retirement from full-time employment. I would love to use my love of animals to continue working as a pet-sitter and dog walker. I am very organized, detail-oriented and will care for your pet as I care for my own. I would love to meet you and your pets to see how I can be of service. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday but am retiring at the end of September. My weekends are currently free. I have some flexibility in my weekday schedule so I may be available on a case-by-case basis for weekday dog walks that are in western Loudoun County and within a 10 minute drive of my home. I will care for your pet in your home so that they will be the most comfortable. I am available for overnight stays to keep your pet company and to provide close supervision, lots of TLC, food, water, potty breaks and anything else you may need. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. I am very detail-oriented, responsible and dependable. As a bit of an overprotective dog mom, I have needed to entrust my dog's care to a pet sitter. My dog is my world. So I know just how valuable trust, dependability and attention to detail are. What matters to you matters to me. I will follow your instructions down to the smallest detail. I will be diligent in communicating with you, sending regular updates and photos of your pet so that you know they are safe and happy in my care.
“Highly recommend! Rebecca was fantastic with Zoey. She took the time to send me a quick photo or two, gave her plenty of attention, and followed all our instructions perfectly. Zoey was happy and relaxed when we got back and we could tell she had a great time! We felt completely at ease knowing she was in good hands!”

“We had such a great experience with Sarah taking care of our dog, Duke! From the start, she was responsive, professional, and clearly very experienced with dogs. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Duke was in such good hands. She kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which we really appreciated, and it was clear Duke was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. When we got home, he was relaxed and his usual self, which says everything. We would absolutely book with Sarah again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitter. Thank you again for taking such great care of Duke!”

“Our cats love when Joanne comes over. She does a great job in feeding and cleaning up their chaotic litter habits. I also really enjoy the pictures and recap she sends of the visit.”

“Kate was so sweet and very flexible. She always sent an update and photos each time, she also never hesitated to reach out if she had any concerns. I will definitely let Kate watch Lucy again!”

About: I grew up with 2 Labrador retrievers, who I grew a special bond with where I grew to love taking care of dogs! I now have a 3 year old German Shepherd pure bred, who I raised and helped to train. I just adopted a Hound, who is a 2 year old rescue. I love walking my dogs everyday, and also driving them to parks as well. I feed my dogs everyday, and have always been known to be taking care of dogs my whole life. I am 21 years old, and a student at East Carolina University. I come home very often, especially during breaks, and live here all summer! My pets are apart of my everyday life, and I am willing to take care and spend valuable time with pets whenever needed and necessary for you! “Celina was excellent! There was a miscommunication on my part, but Celina handled it with so much understanding and she did a wonderful job with our very hyper Aussie. She sent us photos and updates at every check-in. I would highly recommend her for drop in visits.”

“We have used Francisca twice and will use her again! She was very responsive to our concerns and questions. Through her updates, we felt very close to our cats even though far away.”

About: I have had 5 animals that I have taken care of over the past 18 years. I absolutely adore any cat or dog and know what it takes to make sure they are loved and cared for. I am reliable and trustworthy when it comes to making sure your animal is taken care of. I am currently in highschool but I will be done in June and going to college beginning of august. I can work weekdays starting after school and weekends during the day every weekend. I do have senior trips and college orientation in the summer so my schedule is not fully flexible. I feed, walk, and play with my dog who is 2 years old every day. I measure out specifically her dry food and additional wet food/chicken every day. I feed my two cats and refill their water every day. I also make sure they have enough play time/toys to fulfill themselves.
“We were able to relax while we were on vacation, knowing Alexandra was checking in on our “kids” each day. She was perfect and so sweet! They love her maybe more than us now ?”
“Rachel did any amazing job caring for our senior dog Lucy! She sent pictures with every check in which made it easy to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing our Furry family member was in excellent hands!”

Meagan is very responsive especially with short notice. She took care of all the specific needs of both our dog and cat while we were out last minute. She was able to help calm our dog during fireworks and made sure they were feeling safe before she left. She sent many pictures and deeply cares about our pets as she would her own. Shes fantastic and I highly recommend her to anyone!
