Your dog can stay indoor in my apartment or outdoor in the fenced-in yard, as needed. I live in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for walking. If additional space is needed for running and walking in the open countryside, I am also happy to take your dog on a "field trip" to my family's little farm.

I am comfortable walking large and medium-sized dogs, and I've provided pet-sitting for a variety of breeds. I take a gentle approach and enjoy making shy pets feel relaxed. My basement apartment is on the smaller side and the upstairs is used as an Airbnb, so I have a few (occasional) limitations providing daycare. Happy to discuss how we can best meet the needs of your pet!

I love to make circuits around the neighborhood and explore all the sights, sounds and scents. There's a loop along the edge of town with plenty of empty stretches of green grass to roam. A game of fetch is always possible in the back yard.

For years, I've walked the fields and trails along the Potomac River with a furry companion - most recently with Flannery, my family's Great Pyrenees who loved romping in Virginia Bluebell flowers and sinking her paws into mud. Animals have always been a part of my life. I've mucked stalls, herded ewes and lambs, evaded headbutting rams, cuddled pigs, milked goats, trimmed hooves, and named a farm dynasty of cats and kittens names like "Nefertiti" and "Isosceles" (after Egyptian royalty and geometry terms). Nicole was so sweet and kind, she made it extremely easy and was very accommodating, as the week before Ollie had to go on medication and a special diet. And jumped right in and sent us amazing pictures of him loving his time with her.
Nicole was great- very communicative and took great care of our pup!
