About: Hi! I’m a work-from-home mom of three amazing boys, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm, so being around animals wasn’t just a hobby — it was a way of life. I’ve owned pets my entire life and have also fostered many dogs over the years, so my boys have grown up learning how to properly handle, respect, and love animals. We recently lost our sweet dog last year and are taking a little break from owning one, but our home feels happiest with paws around. Dog sitting allows us to share that love while giving your pup the attention and care they deserve. Because I work from home full time, your dog will rarely be alone and will get plenty of supervision, affection, and companionship throughout the day. We have a large single-family home with lots of space to relax. There’s a large fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, as well as a spacious front yard — but please know your dog will never be outside unsupervised. In our home, dogs are family. They’re welcome on the couch and even in the bed for snuggles at night if that’s what they’re used to. My boys love giving extra attention, playtime, and belly rubs — always guided by what your dog is comfortable with. Our family truly adores and respects animals, and we will care for your dog as if they were our own — with patience, structure, affection, and lots of love. I’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I work from home full time. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and regular potty breaks as often as needed. Your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches. We go on at least one walk every day, and I’m happy to adjust the length or pace depending on your dog’s age and energy level. In addition to walks, I incorporate outdoor time, playtime, and plenty of affection into the day. Because I’m already on a steady home schedule, it’s easy for me to maintain feeding times, medication schedules, and any specific routines your dog is used to. Because I work from home full time, I’m able to provide constant supervision, regular potty breaks, and lots of attention throughout the day. Dogs have access to our large fenced backyard (always supervised) and enjoy at least one daily walk, along with playtime and snuggles. About: For years, I've walked the fields and trails along the Potomac River with a furry companion - most recently with Flannery, my family's Great Pyrenees who loved romping in Virginia Bluebell flowers and sinking her paws into mud. Animals have always been a part of my life. I've mucked stalls, herded ewes and lambs, evaded headbutting rams, cuddled pigs, milked goats, trimmed hooves, and named a farm dynasty of cats and kittens names like "Nefertiti" and "Isosceles" (after Egyptian royalty and geometry terms). About: Hi all! I am interested in doing some petsitting to find some dog friends for my pup. I am not a full-time dog sitter, however, I'd like to find some more dogs that my dog will play with & hopefully build some puppy friendships. I live in Broadlands and WFH. I work from home & my dog is cage free all day. We usually do a longer walk in the mornings (between 6-7am) and play outside when it's cooler, then a short walk around lunch time, and another walk around sunset. About: I have a deep passion for animals and a keen eye for understanding their non-verbal cues. By focusing on the small details and reading their body language, I ensure your pet feels comfortable, secure, and stress-free. Im a stay at home mom. I take my aon to school at 7:20, i would be available directly after that until 1:30 or 2 depending on where you live. Then Im available from 3-7. Every morning I feel my dogs and then walk them around our property. Then, I feed the kitty who is usually meowing loudly at me. Then, I scoop her box. She likes it if I scoop her box several times a day. The dogs are fed twice a day, and walked several times. My Dad or I will walk our younger dog Molly around the neighborhood or on the Appalachian trail. Dinner for the dogs is at 7pm and "last pee" is before bedtime (usually 10).
“It was my first time trying Rover for my extremely high energy GSD. I needed to board him for an upcoming vacation and had no idea if anyone on the app would be able to handle him. He’s super high energy and super stubborn. Decided to give Colleen a try since she seemed to have experience with the breed. We tried a doggy day care day to make sure both he and Colleen would be okay with a whole week of boarding and it went as well as I could have hoped. He was a little bit of a problem in the begging it seemed but Colleen was able to get through to him and he had a great rest of the day with her. He came home exhausted which is also good for me! I have no doubts about my upcoming boarding with her and would recommend her highly to anyone with a similar dog. It was very nerve-racking for me to leave him alone all day with someone else who had never watched him before and Colleen did an amazing job.”

About: Have only had 9 months total of my life without a dog or a pack of them by my side. Your fur baby will be fostered as one of my own; their walk, run, or potty break is all about them!
