She was extremely responsive to messages and sent thoughtful updates, including a photo that clearly showed my dog was relaxed, comfortable, and settling in well with her pack and environment. That gave me great peace of mind. Tamara is calm, professional, capable, and very trustworthy. Knowing that she has four dogs of her own and works from home was especially reassuring, and she had no issues administering my dog’s daily pill. My dog really enjoyed exploring her yard (especially the chickens!) and Tamara clearly knew how to manage her gently and confidently. When I picked her up, she was happy to see me but calm and relaxed, which told me she had felt safe and well cared for. Tamara was also wonderful to work with from the beginning - she met with me beforehand to answer questions and make sure everything was a good fit, and she was easy to communicate with throughout. “I was looking for a place to board Sake that was a mid-point between my home to Bryce Mountain to go skiing. I found Maki who was on the way to the slopes. She was very accommodating when I forgot the dry food (Mom Brain), but luckily I brought enough wet food for Sake's meals. I appreciate they were very patient with Sake trying to sleep in her crate at night while I am attempting to crate train her. I was worried she might be howling most of the night, but surprisingly, Sake ended up napping inside her crate after we got home today. This is a new behavior for Sake which I am so happy to see!!!! This is a good sign that she is dreaming of all the fun walks and attention she got from Maki and her family. She shared photos and informed me on all of her walks, her desire to chase a squirrel, and when she peed, pooped, finished her meals, got several belly rubs and chilled at the house. I highly recommend you go to Maki whenever you need boarding. She is conveniently located on the way to the slopes. Upon pick up, her son was kind to carry the crate out to my car and place it in my trunk. I noticed that Sake's belongings were neatly folded, cleaned and organized inside the overnight bag. Sake will definitely return when I need to go back to the mountains for the weekend or day when I am not able to bring her with me. Thank you for taking good care of her. When I see Sake sleeping well after her visit from boarding, that is a positive sign that she had an awesome time with the family.”

“What an amazing experience! From the very beginning Kristen was so helpful! This was our very first experience using Rover, and also our first experience with leaving our precious Furbaby in someone else’s care! We drove all the way from Florida to visit Washington DC and unfortunately we were not able to bring Eleanor with us to the Smithsonian museums! Lol! About: Hi! I’m a work-from-home mom of three amazing boys, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm, so being around animals wasn’t just a hobby — it was a way of life. I’ve owned pets my entire life and have also fostered many dogs over the years, so my boys have grown up learning how to properly handle, respect, and love animals. We recently lost our sweet dog last year and are taking a little break from owning one, but our home feels happiest with paws around. Dog sitting allows us to share that love while giving your pup the attention and care they deserve. Because I work from home full time, your dog will rarely be alone and will get plenty of supervision, affection, and companionship throughout the day. We have a large single-family home with lots of space to relax. There’s a large fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, as well as a spacious front yard — but please know your dog will never be outside unsupervised. In our home, dogs are family. They’re welcome on the couch and even in the bed for snuggles at night if that’s what they’re used to. My boys love giving extra attention, playtime, and belly rubs — always guided by what your dog is comfortable with. Our family truly adores and respects animals, and we will care for your dog as if they were our own — with patience, structure, affection, and lots of love. I’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I work from home full time. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and regular potty breaks as often as needed. Your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches. We go on at least one walk every day, and I’m happy to adjust the length or pace depending on your dog’s age and energy level. In addition to walks, I incorporate outdoor time, playtime, and plenty of affection into the day. Because I’m already on a steady home schedule, it’s easy for me to maintain feeding times, medication schedules, and any specific routines your dog is used to. When pets stay in my home, they become part of our daily routine and are treated like family. Because I work from home full time, I’m able to provide constant supervision, regular potty breaks, and lots of attention throughout the day. Dogs have access to our large fenced backyard (always supervised) and enjoy at least one daily walk, along with playtime and snuggles. About: I grew up with 2 Labrador retrievers, who I grew a special bond with where I grew to love taking care of dogs! I now have a 3 year old German Shepherd pure bred, who I raised and helped to train. I just adopted a Hound, who is a 2 year old rescue. About: For years, I've walked the fields and trails along the Potomac River with a furry companion - most recently with Flannery, my family's Great Pyrenees who loved romping in Virginia Bluebell flowers and sinking her paws into mud. Animals have always been a part of my life. About: I'll love them like their my own. I'm new to Rover but I've helped friends, family and neighbors care for their fur babies for the last 30 years or so. I grew up with Old English sheepdog but love all animals. My friends joke that I can't go anywhere without meeting a new dog friend. About: I have a deep passion for animals and a keen eye for understanding their non-verbal cues. I take my aon to school at 7:20, i would be available directly after that until 1:30 or 2 depending on where you live. Then Im available from 3-7. Every morning I feel my dogs and then walk them around our property. Then, I feed the kitty who is usually meowing loudly at me. Then, I scoop her box. She likes it if I scoop her box several times a day. The dogs are fed twice a day, and walked several times. My Dad or I will walk our younger dog Molly around the neighborhood or on the Appalachian trail. Dinner for the dogs is at 7pm and "last pee" is before bedtime (usually 10).

About: I have taken care of animals all my life. For the last 3 years I have worked professionally as a pet sitter. My services include, feeding, walking/exercising, administering medications (orally and subcutaneously), and entertaining. I have worked with dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, chickens, rabbits, frogs, turtles, snakes, and pet rodents. I am available Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM. I can work weekends and after hours (before 8AM or after 5PM) on a case-by-case basis. My care plan for your pet will be based exclusively on your expectations. I am happy to schedule an in-person Meet & Greet, where we can go over your pet's routine in detail.

We are always running, playing fetch or simply going for a walk. I can’t imagine my life without them. Sometimes even my husband doubts who I love more. I think if you meet my dogs you would probably notice how happy they are. Brady, Gimli and I both love dogs of every shape and size. With me you don’t have to worry about things like if your pup is home sad or bored.. I will make sure that little buddy is entertained! I would absolutely love to play, go for a walk or just snuggle with your furry friend. Brady, Gimli and I can't wait to meet you and your pup!

I always keep a close eye on pets during walks and outdoor time, make sure doors and gates are secure, and provide plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is to create a stress-free experience for both pets and their families by providing dependable, loving care in a safe environment.

“I was looking for a place to board Sake that was a mid-point between my home to Bryce Mountain to go skiing. I found Maki who was on the way to the slopes. She was very accommodating when I forgot the dry food (Mom Brain), but luckily I brought enough wet food for Sake's meals. I appreciate they were very patient with Sake trying to sleep in her crate at night while I am attempting to crate train her. I was worried she might be howling most of the night, but surprisingly, Sake ended up napping inside her crate after we got home today. This is a new behavior for Sake which I am so happy to see!!!! This is a good sign that she is dreaming of all the fun walks and attention she got from Maki and her family. She shared photos and informed me on all of her walks, her desire to chase a squirrel, and when she peed, pooped, finished her meals, got several belly rubs and chilled at the house. I highly recommend you go to Maki whenever you need boarding. She is conveniently located on the way to the slopes. Upon pick up, her son was kind to carry the crate out to my car and place it in my trunk. I noticed that Sake's belongings were neatly folded, cleaned and organized inside the overnight bag. Sake will definitely return when I need to go back to the mountains for the weekend or day when I am not able to bring her with me. Thank you for taking good care of her. When I see Sake sleeping well after her visit from boarding, that is a positive sign that she had an awesome time with the family.”

“What an amazing experience! From the very beginning Kristen was so helpful! This was our very first experience using Rover, and also our first experience with leaving our precious Furbaby in someone else’s care! We drove all the way from Florida to visit Washington DC and unfortunately we were not able to bring Eleanor with us to the Smithsonian museums! Lol! So we were in need of someone to take care of her while we were sightseeing and I am so thankful that we found Kristen and her beautiful farm! We left Eleanor at the farm for three days, and it seems like she had a blast!
