About: We have had dogs our entire lives. Our Lab Mac passed away after 14 years. We are not ready to have another dog yet, just looking to enjoy yours. We love dogs and we walk often. We’d like to walk your dogs to ensure they get exercise and love. My husband Joel and I love dogs! We have a house with a fenced in backyard. We live in a safe area for walks, with parks and sidewalks. We will walk your dog as much or little as you like.

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals my entire life. Growing up, my family always had dogs (including raising multiple litters of puppies), which gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and personalities. Over the years, I’ve also helped with wildlife rehabilitation and found safe, loving homes for pets in need. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s something I truly enjoy. My job position is incredibly flexible giving me the extra time to love and provide care for some furry friends. I have access to a very very large grassed extension to my home, with trees and lots of area for fun and exercise. My neighborhood is quiet and provides many different accesses to grassed areas of different kinds. We have a cemented sidewalk that circles the neighborhood perfect for walks. My home also have a porch on the back for sunshine/fresh air outside of walks.

About: Hi! I’m a work-from-home mom of three amazing boys, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm, so being around animals wasn’t just a hobby — it was a way of life. I’ve owned pets my entire life and have also fostered many dogs over the years, so my boys have grown up learning how to properly handle, respect, and love animals. We recently lost our sweet dog last year and are taking a little break from owning one, but our home feels happiest with paws around. Dog sitting allows us to share that love while giving your pup the attention and care they deserve. Because I work from home full time, your dog will rarely be alone and will get plenty of supervision, affection, and companionship throughout the day. We have a large single-family home with lots of space to relax. There’s a large fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, as well as a spacious front yard — but please know your dog will never be outside unsupervised. In our home, dogs are family. They’re welcome on the couch and even in the bed for snuggles at night if that’s what they’re used to. My boys love giving extra attention, playtime, and belly rubs — always guided by what your dog is comfortable with. Our family truly adores and respects animals, and we will care for your dog as if they were our own — with patience, structure, affection, and lots of love. I’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I work from home full time. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and regular potty breaks as often as needed. Your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches. We go on at least one walk every day, and I’m happy to adjust the length or pace depending on your dog’s age and energy level. In addition to walks, I incorporate outdoor time, playtime, and plenty of affection into the day. Because I’m already on a steady home schedule, it’s easy for me to maintain feeding times, medication schedules, and any specific routines your dog is used to. When pets stay in my home, they become part of our daily routine and are treated like family. Because I work from home full time, I’m able to provide constant supervision, regular potty breaks, and lots of attention throughout the day. Dogs have access to our large fenced backyard (always supervised) and enjoy at least one daily walk, along with playtime and snuggles. They’re welcome on the couch and even in bed if that’s what they’re used to. I stick closely to each dog’s normal feeding schedule, exercise routine, and any special instructions to help them feel comfortable and secure. My goal is always the same: to provide safe, loving, reliable care so both you and your pet feel completely at ease.

About: For years, I've walked the fields and trails along the Potomac River with a furry companion - most recently with Flannery, my family's Great Pyrenees who loved romping in Virginia Bluebell flowers and sinking her paws into mud. Animals have always been a part of my life. I've mucked stalls, herded ewes and lambs, evaded headbutting rams, cuddled pigs, milked goats, trimmed hooves, and named a farm dynasty of cats and kittens names like "Nefertiti" and "Isosceles" (after Egyptian royalty and geomotry terms). If additional space is needed for running and walking in the open countryside, I am also happy to take your dog on a "field trip" to my family's little farm.

About: You want the best for your pup and we do too! We have a large fenced yard which allows for lots of potty breaks and playtime. We live a few miles from a dog park, and are a big outdoor family. We are firmly a no bed/furniture family, and hope your dog will be happy with his/her own bed and/or crate. My husband and I both work from home, so there are plenty of potty breaks throughout the day, as well as 2x daily walks. We are happy to accommodate your dog whether he/she is crate-trained, or just needs to be in a room while we're away. We look forward to having your dog come and stay with us!! I work part-time during the week so will have plenty of time to keep your furbabies company!
