About: Growing up, my family has owned many dogs and other pets, and I have always been heavily involved in their care. I had a dog walking business a few years ago, and I regularly watched the dogs of our friends and neighbors. My family also fostered a dog for a time, which I was heavily involved in. Over the last year, I have had the opportunity to walk and care for many different dogs through Rover. Throughout all of these experiences, I have had to care for many different types of dogs, both big and small, and old and young. As a result, I am comfortable with all types of breeds and know how to navigate challenges when it comes to pet care. Most importantly, I love dogs! I am available every day of the week from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. I am very flexible and can always find time to accommodate other schedules. Please check my calendar for any days marked unavailable. When caring for dogs in the homes of others, I make sure that they are comfortable, well fed, and loved. When walking dogs, I always make sure to go at their pace, pick up after them, and keep them safe.
“We cannot say enough wonderful things about Kally! She cared for our two dogs and our home as if they were her own. Not only was she reliable and attentive, but she also went above and beyond when our pups needed some extra care and attention. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in such loving and capable hands. Kally kept us updated, followed through on every detail, and left our home spotless. It’s rare to find someone this dedicated, responsible, and compassionate—we feel so lucky to have found her. Highly, highly recommend Kally to anyone looking for the very best care for their pets and home!”

“Melinda was fantastic! It’s very difficult for me to leave my 12 year old cancer survivor dog with anyone but family but Melinda did amazing and took all our worries away. Already planning our next booking - highly recommend !”

“Sitter extraordinaire! Look no further….Brooke is a gold 5 star caregiver! I can be a serious worrier when it comes to the caregiving of our almost 12 year old cockapoo, Rosie. With Brooke, I put those worries to rest. I knew immediately that Rosie would be loved, enjoyed and cared for as if Brooke had known her forever——-Rosie knew too! She gave Rosie her complete attention, wanted to know the details of her everyday life to make it easier for her. I knew I could relax leaving Rosie in her care to enjoy an almost 2 week vacation with my children and grandchildren. Brooke sends photos and sweet updates almost daily. We had a serious complication with our return trip home that Brooke handled with such mature kindness and understanding offering to stay longer if it would help and answering all my worried texts. I also came home to laundry done, bed linens washed and bed freshly made and my home spotless. Brooke is the sitter I will always call on for all travel. A genuine 5 gold stars caregiver sitter! Thank you, thank you, Brooke!”

“Raquel took great care of my dog and left my home in pristine condition while house sitting. She was highly communicative throughout the stay and made sure that my dog went out for plenty of walks and had lots of indoor play time. My dog does not do well with other dogs and Raquel did a great job in avoiding any issues while on walks. I would highly recommend Raquel’s services!”

I provide the same patience, love, attention, and care that I would want someone to provide for my own pets. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. 🐾❤️ I currently work from home, which means I have the flexibility to build my schedule around your fur baby’s routine and needs. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 11 years—whether in my home or theirs. Dogs are such fun, always ready to play, and both my children and I love spending time with them. They truly bring so much joy to our days! I have a flexible job and check in a few times a day. I also work from home some days, so there’s always an adult home for TLC and potty breaks. I now live in a pet-friendly Townhome that offers plenty of comfort and care for your furry friend. About: I’m 24 years old and I’ve been working with dogs and cats since I was 9 years old. I’ve had all different types of breeds in my life no matter big or small and I love them all like family no matter mine or not. I’ve been dog walking and house sit since I was 9 as a small part time job growing up. I started training dogs a little bit on my own for fun when I was 16 just with people I dog walked for that had dogs that may have had problems on walks and other issues I felt I could work with. I started growing in June of 2021 when I started my own In home doggy day care which I started that when I was 19. I myself had 3 dogs at that time and absolutely loved it. Sadly after my beloved childhood dog who I took care of had heart failure and passed in 2022. I stop doggy daycare and started only doing drop in visits, dog walking, and house sitting. I have nothing but love and a great passion for animals for years since I was a young girl. I work a part-time job 1-2 times a week 3-4 hour shifts so I’m home 99% of the time. I’m able to do short walks and long walks for dogs I’m able to do short drop ins or log drop ins ima slo able to stay and house sitting if needed since my schedule is so flexible. My dogs are on a schedule of having 2 hours all together of outside time that is 1 hour for a walk and 1 hour for play time that’s 7am-9am. Both my dogs get 3 walks a day big ones morning and night and one small one during the day. We have cuddle/tv time we also do hikes and other fun activities. When doing walks or even house sitting I always check for weak points. When house sitting I make sure all doors are locked and secured. When letting dogs in the back yard no matter night or day I always stay in the backyard with them for safety. When walking dogs I make sure to check the collar, leash and harness and that they are secured safely on the dog. I always keep my pet parents update with their babies. I don’t allow other people or dogs around for safety purposes and reason. I always make sure that if I see something that is a harm to the pet I notify owners immediately. I always keep my owners in the loop of everything so that away it’s less stressful on everyone. I always make sure to get the pets vet information and other emergency contacts just in case I can’t get ahold of the owners.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Leesburg
We are incredibly grateful to Anya for taking such wonderful care of our baby boy, Google. This was a last-minute trip, and Anya graciously agreed to watch him with very little notice. From the moment we met her, she was kind, caring, and clearly went above and beyond to make Google feel loved and comfortable. What meant the most to us was how genuinely loving she was toward Google. She treated him like her own and made sure he felt safe, happy, and loved. Knowing that our baby was getting that kind of care gave us so much peace of mind. Anya is responsible, compassionate, trustworthy, and truly went above and beyond for us. We would absolutely have her care for Google again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pet like family. ❤️

Jaida is so great with Milo and Dani. Since she has house sat for us a few times, Dani is really starting to get comfortable with her and even hangs on the couch. Both Milo and Dani seem really happy and the house is always in great condition when she leaves! We will keep using Jaida to house sit!

Zhanna is absolutely Amazing with our German shepherd. She knows how to not only take good care of her but took such good care of our home. She pays attention to detail and send us photos and updates while we were gone making us know she was taking care of! I came home to a relaxed dog which makes every vacation that much more enjoyable. Thank you Zhanna! We can’t wait to see you next time!

I highly recommend Braylee as a dog and house sitter. She demonstrated exceptional professionalism, responsibility, and care throughout her stay. She provided regular photo updates, maintained the home meticulously (including washing her linens and running the dishwasher), as well as watering plants and collecting mail. Most importantly, my dogs were calm, comfortable, and clearly well‑cared‑for. When they weren’t happy in their beds at night she let them sleep with her, their favorite thing to do! I returned to two very content pups which never happens after a trip to the kennel. Braylee is trustworthy, attentive, and goes well beyond expectations. I will gladly book her again.

Suyen is wonderful. Our two dogs really liked her from our initial meet and greet through her stay with them. She has a very calming demeanor which is good as we have a two year old female GSD who is pretty high energy. Suyen played ball with her several times as well as lots of cuddle time with our other dog as that is his preferred activity. Suyen also took really good care of our home while we were away and it was a delight to come home to two happy dogs and a the house looking even better than we had left. We would be delighted to have her stay with dogs/ home again.

My wife and I were very impressed with Sarah's professionalism and attention to detail. Her updates were very thorough and we appreciated the great pics we received while she was house sitting and watching our Winston. It's clear she has a lot of experience handling dogs, as Winston is strong and can be a bit leash reactive. She had no issues navigating the neighborhood on walks while giving a wide berth to other dogs. We will definitely look to rehire her in the future!

Megan did an awesome job looking after my two sweet kitties! She provided timely updates with pictures and I could tell that she was genuinely happy to be spending time with them! When I returned, the house was super neat and tidy just as I left it. I would gladly have her watch my kitties again!

Great! Nina was exceptional at stepping in for a last minute save. She made me feel comfortable right away staying with my dogs, and took great care of them. I had daily updates, she asked questions to check on things, and provided pictures. My dogs were super happy when we came back. One dog seemed to maybe miss her and sat by the door? She had a friend stay with her who was also very nice. I would use her help again in a heartbeat.

She was fantastic!! This was our first time having our boys watched by someone new and they warmed up to her right away! She was very communicative and was attentive to our dogs’ needs. We felt very comfortable leaving for the night and will definitely be using her for our regular travel!

The average cost for House Sitting in Leesburg on Rover is $49.95 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of August 2026, there are 6,547 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Leesburg. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Leesburg walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Leesburg maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Leesburg choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Leesburg. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
