About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 13! I have had multiple dogs (all rescue) in my home that I have fed, bathed, walked, and administered medication. I have been working in dog shelters since 2021, so I am comfortable with all dogs from all backgrounds! I have a pitbull terrier mix, a semi-feral outdoor cat, fish, and two crested geckos! Pet care is something I do every single day, including: feeding, bathing, walking, medication administration, and habitat cleaning! I always meet an animal where they are. I don't want to impose on their personal space or do something to make them scared. I don't expect every animal to be super warm and cuddly, everyone has different needs! I can cater as fancy or as downplayed a routine as you need to make your fur-babies (or non-furry) feel safe!

About: Growing up, my family has owned many dogs and other pets, and I have always been heavily involved in their care. I had a dog walking business a few years ago, and I regularly watched the dogs of our friends and neighbors. My family also fostered a dog for a time, which I was heavily involved in. Over the last year, I have had the opportunity to walk and care for many different dogs through Rover. Throughout all of these experiences, I have had to care for many different types of dogs, both big and small, and old and young. As a result, I am comfortable with all types of breeds and know how to navigate challenges when it comes to pet care. Most importantly, I love dogs! I am available every day of the week from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. I am very flexible and can always find time to accommodate other schedules. Please check my calendar for any days marked unavailable. When caring for dogs in the homes of others, I make sure that they are comfortable, well fed, and loved. When walking dogs, I always make sure to go at their pace, pick up after them, and keep them safe.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for 4 years and currently share my home with 4 dogs and 2 cats, so caring for animals is just part of my everyday life. I’ve watched pets for friends, family, and neighbors, and I’ve consistently gotten great feedback for being reliable, attentive, and treating every pet like my own. I can do daily walks, drop ins, or daycare any day of the week, mornings or afternoons, without restriction! About: I’ve had em all! Dogs, Cats, Lizards, Turtles, Fish, Goats... My family has always kinda been drawn to animals, so we’ve pretty much always had (at least) a cat or a dog throughout my life. And people have noticed that I get on well with just about any dog or cat or whatever else, because my friends and neighbors have, more often than not, called on me for their pet-sitting needs. I’ve pretty much been doing this since I was 10 years old, so I generally know what I’m doing. I have a flexible schedule, and am okay with traveling a fair distance. My only limitation is that I cannot board dogs at my own house. However, as I said, I am flexible and can travel as needed. I am doing this as my job, and while school is out, I am mostly free, so I can devote time to your pet’s care. I care about animals, and I understand that they can be traumatized by being separated from their family. I try to be a calm and reassuring force in their world. Their needs are paramount, and I am willing to adjust my schedule to accommodate them. I am trustworthy and will respect your household as a guest. Any special requests you have, I will do my best to accommodate.

About: I started taking care of neighbors' and friends' dogs, cats, fish, hamsters and birds when I was 14 years old. I love animals and wildlife of all kinds. I have been a cat and dog mom for 28 years and have had 2 leash and dog-reactive dogs (strong, 60 pound+ mutt and pit bull) so I am experienced in dealing with these situations. I have strong situational awareness with my head on a swivel when walking dogs. My senior kitty required specialized medical care at the end of her life with daily prescription medication and subcutaneous fluids. I have volunteered as a dog walker and cat snuggler at Friends of Homeless Animals rescue. I have been a social worker for 30 years and am nearing retirement from full-time employment. I would love to use my love of animals to continue working as a pet-sitter and dog walker. I am very organized, detail-oriented and will care for your pet as I care for my own. I would love to meet you and your pets to see how I can be of service. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday but am retiring at the end of September. My weekends are currently free. I have some flexibility in my weekday schedule so I may be available on a case-by-case basis for weekday dog walks that are in western Loudoun County and within a 10 minute drive of my home. I will care for your pet in your home so that they will be the most comfortable. I am available for overnight stays to keep your pet company and to provide close supervision, lots of TLC, food, water, potty breaks and anything else you may need. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. I am very detail-oriented, responsible and dependable. As a bit of an overprotective dog mom, I have needed to entrust my dog's care to a pet sitter. My dog is my world. So I know just how valuable trust, dependability and attention to detail are. What matters to you matters to me. I will follow your instructions down to the smallest detail. I will be diligent in communicating with you, sending regular updates and photos of your pet so that you know they are safe and happy in my care.

About: I've lived with dogs since I was born, being able to responsibly care for them even as a kid. I've taken care of the dogs of my neighbor and family friends plenty of times, but even when I'm home I always do the same job. Walk/run, play, feed, water, medicate. Whether it's a grapefruit sized chihuahua or a polar bear sized pyrenees, I've got you covered. Whether they're energetic, shy, or old, I'm here for them all the same. I'll be a junior at Kent State University this fall and I'm looking for work this summer from 5/11 to 8/17. I'm a college student with no part or full time summer job, my availability is always up for discussion whether it's the morning, afternoon, or multiple overnight stays. If I agree to a job, I'm going to come through and finish it. You won't see me flaking out on an opportunity to see dogs. So long as I have a rundown of what I need to do and where everything I need to complete the job is, you can count on me to respect your home and your family. Dogs are always family, they deserve to be treated as such. I'll be sure to write down specific rules about crating or separating multiple dogs when feeding you might have if you haven't written them for me.

About: I grew up with so many animals and was taking care of them as soon as I could walk! We had at least 3 dogs at a time, a cat, etc. I love to take my dogs on long walks!
