“This was the second time Rumi has stayed with Helen and Hommer. We have realized that when Rumi is with them, she is on vacation! She is treated like a princess and given so much love, care, and affection. In fact, they included a picture of Rumi on their Christmas tree!! They go above and beyond, especially since Rumi can be difficult on her leash. They never make us feel like she is a burden, even though we know she can be a bit tricky. I cannot speak highly enough of how amazing Hommer and Helen are. We would never want anyone else to take care of her. These two people are truly special and wonderful. We adore them!!!! Do your pet a favor and book a vacation for them at Helen and Hommer’s house!!”

“Ryder stayed with Valerie for 11 days and this was the longest period away from us, and only the second time we have boarded him. The first was in a traditional kennel, and it was not successful, as Ryder has some anxiety. Valerie's home was the perfect experience! She worked with him to feel at ease and treated him like one of her family! We were nervous too and Valerie went above an beyond by texting us and sharing pictures and videos to show us Ryder was doing well and having a great time with her dog and the others he met at her house. This was an outstanding boarding experience and we highly recommend Valerie to care for your fur babies!”

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire adult life and recently lost my 17 yr old Shih Tzu, Jack. I’d love to have your special family member stay at my home. It is very pet friendly and I have a lot of love to give. I am currently working as a substitute in Loudoun County but am retired. My schedule is my own. There are numerous paths and trails in my neighborhood. I have no dog right now, so it would be solely your pet. I would prefer watching your dog (s) in my home but would consider a clients home. I welcome meeting with any client so that you can make that important decision.
