Their lovely home with few dogs/cats was a perfect fit for our dog, who gets nervous easily. Dale was flexible enough to accommodate our late pickup. So thankful we found this family at Rover!”

“This was the second time we used John and his wife Joanna and they were wonderful once again. Our pups can be nervous when they’re away from home but I could tell they recognized their home (and kids) and felt comfortable there, which made it easier to leave them. They communicate and send pictures/updates every day, and when one of our pups wasn’t feeling well they let us know right away and were willing to stay up at night with him to make sure he was okay. They even checked up on him after he was back home. Just lovely!”

About: I treat dogs like a member of the family. I love taking them for walks and chilling at home together. I am experienced with dog-sitting for small to medium size dogs. I also have experience with senior dog care and can provide care for dogs who may have difficulty with going up and down stairs, bathroom/accidents, medication, etc. Please let me know if your pet has any special requirements or concerns. I am currently available to provide pet care full time during the weekends only. Later in the summer I will have greater availability as I will have the summer off. I am able to provide boarding or daycare in my home. I had a Jack Russell mix, Ozzy, who passed away in April 2025. Currently I have no pets. I live in a 3-story townhouse with a fenced backyard, located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Inside the house, I can make adjustments to best suit the needs of your dog, for example we can use or not use baby gates, doggy door access, or dog steps to help them get on the sofa. I am able to carry dogs up to 30 pounds comfortably and safely up the stairs if necessary.

I have a part-time job in the afternoons on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. I am ready to receive your pets on the days that I am available, play with them and take them for a walk as many times as necessary.
