About: In my experience, cats are much more comfortable in their own homes, with visits from a caretaker person. I have had cats and been around cats all my life. I understand cats and won’t push them to be friendly if that’s not the cat’s personality. Kittens are another matter entirely. Please know that if they are destructive or high-energy, that is going to be a problem.

About: I have had several dogs but do not currently have any pets. I have had to give medicine to dogs and lots of experience with puppy “accidents”. I’m a teacher, so during summer and breaks I have lots of free time. I have two boys, both of whom love animals. They would love to have a pet visit our home. I can only house-sit when I don’t have my children with me, but can board an animal anytime. Important to note that during the school year my Friday availability is evening only. About: Hey! Thanks for taking the time to get to know me. I am a lifelong dog lover, having owned small medium and large breeds since childhood and throughout my life. From Dachshunds, to Dalmatians, to Great Danes and Rhodesians, I have vast experience with all dog sizes and strengths; As well as the psychology and temperament that accompanies each breed, and the necessary handling and demeanor. The time spent as a Veterinary technicians assistant in college means I'm also familiar with some basic dog first aid (doggy first aid kit with me), as well as know what to look for and asist in order to make sure each breed is comfortable (ex. larger and or longer breeds may have hip dysplasia or other difficulties). Having spent every summer on a large farm with over 10 dogs, I not only seem to have a second sense for dog behavior, but understand their psychology in a group situation, the hierarchy involved, as well as the need for a sense of security and comfort. I am the one my friends call to come help train their dogs, or even accompany them on a hike in case some first aid is necessary. Moreover three of my close friends are veterinary doctors, whom I speak with daily, and are a great source for any information needed. I have extensive experience with both young puppies, and older dogs who may or may not have some incontinence or other medical issues. I am very familiar with dogs with special needs, as my own previous dog was partially paralyzed, and required medication. At the end of the day, I just love dogs and want them to be as happy and healthy as possible, including cooking custom meals :) I work remotely and at my own pace, so dogs always come first. There is a well groomed dog park across the street that we can go to at any moments notice. I have a dog proofed home, with a very friendly and submissive doggy to keep yours company. I have a ring doorbell camera that monitors the only entrance/exit; There is a very nice fenced dog park across the street with a dog agility course. There are pleanty of dog toys, chews and treats. The dogs are welcome on all the furniture, with a dedicated TV playing doggyTV in the background.
About: Animal lover since birth! I have taken care of dogs, cats, frogs, rabbits, turtles, fish, lizards, and hamsters ever since I was 6 years old. I treat ever animal with love and compassion as if they were my own. Special skills include senior animal care. I would be able to spend quality time with your fur-baby! I am able to take your pet out as many times as they needed during the morning/afternoon/night. I live in a house with a huge yard for pets to go to the bathroom, play, etc. Just down the street is a dog park that I love to go to! For over nights - I allow the dogs to sleep in my room so they don’t get lonely. About: Huge lover of dogs and puppies of all sizes and breeds! I grew up with family dogs and fostered dogs throughout college; it was a super rewarding and FUN experience. I’ve dealt with shy dogs, dogs with anxiety and pups as young as 6 weeks. Eventually I adopted my own and I can now say I’ve spent hours on end at dog parks. I am a happy owner of a 8 year old mix named Tucker and 4 year old golden retriever puppy named Skye. My husband and I as a team will both be responsible for your fur babies so you get 2 dog sitters for the price of 1! We would love to meet, care and play with your pup and I'm sure our dogs will too. Just to note: Tucker is weary with humans and will bark his head off the second he sees a PERSON he doesn’t know... but other than that, he has no problems with other dogs and would love to hang out with yours! My work schedule changes weekly based on my team's attendance that week, but typically I am in the office Mon-Thurs. On days I’m in the office, I’m gone from about 9am–4:30pm. We have a pet cam set up for when we are hosting other dogs so that we are able to monitor them sleeping on the couch all day. If your dog is house-trained and/or crate-trained and is comfortable being in a calm environment, they are welcome to come hang out with Tucker and Skye during the day! As soon as me or my husband are home from work, we’re back to playing, going on walks around the neighborhood, or heading to the dog park. On days I work from home, your pup will get tons of attention. There’s lots of playtime with my dogs and walks throughout the day. We live in a super dog-friendly area with plenty of walking paths and parks, so there’s always something to do. When your dog stays with me you can expect: 1. A team of 2 dog sitters for the price of 1! (my husband & I) 2. Lots of play with our two dogs 2. Walks around the neighborhood 3. Photo updates to show that you’re dog is happy, comfy and settling in okay! A couple things to note: 1. We have 2 dogs in the house currently (your dog must get along with other dogs). Both our dogs are typically low-key and just laze around with us, but they are also always ready to walk and play at all times. 2. We have a (small) fenced patio area out back for them to potty and be outside. They will have plenty of space inside and outside to play with each other, however, since we don't have a full yard, your dog(s) will join ours on our neighborhood walks.

If you are looking for care for a dog with aggressive tendencies, I would recommend looking for a different sitter. I am currently job searching and pursuing a security + cert. I schedule my job searching and studying around my cat sitting hours, which affords some flexibility. I exclusively care for pets in my clients' homes, as my own cat needs a safe, solo environment. I am respectful of the space, and will spend my time devoted to your particular pets needs (whether that's play, affection, or just side by side coexisting).
