About: In my experience, cats are much more comfortable in their own homes, with visits from a caretaker person. I have had cats and been around cats all my life. I understand cats and won’t push them to be friendly if that’s not the cat’s personality. Kittens are another matter entirely. Please know that if they are destructive or high-energy, that is going to be a problem.

Your dog will be part of the household here — not crated in a back room — with plenty of attention, a regular routine, and photo updates so you know how the day is going. A few things to know about my setup: I have a yard, but it isn't fenced, so all potty breaks and outdoor time are leashed and supervised. Never off-leash. I have one dog of my own, a friendly female Bernedoodle named Dorothy. She's good with other dogs, and I'm happy to do a meet-and-greet first to make sure everyone gets along. I work from home, so your dog won't be alone for long stretches. Comfortable with puppies, senior dogs with special needs, and everything in between. For walks, I'll stick to whatever route and pace your dog is used to, and I'll let you know how it went. Happy to set up a free meet-and-greet before booking anything. About: I’m a teacher who is looking forward to working with pets! I have had my own dog for 10+ years and have taken care of other dogs as well! Neighbors, friends and families have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets! I am also an active dog sitter who lives near Algonkian Park! During the academic school year my availability is a little different, but my summer schedule is very flexible. I love spending time with my own dog and will take her out during various parts of the day if the weather allows. I firmly believe that pets are such important members of the family and giving them all the care and love is priority! When I care for pets, I make sure they are fed, taken outside on their daily walks and have some fun! When going on a walk, I make sure to carry a water, portable water bowl, bags and treats. I’m a teacher, so during summer and breaks I have lots of free time. I have two boys, both of whom love animals. They would love to have a pet visit our home. I can only house-sit when I don’t have my children with me, but can board an animal anytime. Important to note that during the school year my Friday availability is evening only. I have a fenced yard. At my home, I can almost guarantee your dog or cat would get to sleep in a child’s bed and be loved like family. At your home, I would respect any rules you have set.

About: I grew up working at an animal hospital and hotel which i loved. Fostered dogs throughout college. Took care of my family dog growing up. I work from home part-time so I have a very flexible schedule to help accommodate any pet family! I am available all hours of the day usually as well. I make sure to give the pet undivided attention to make sure they have a comfortable and safe stay. If in a clients home, i make sure to be respectful of the persons home. Take them on frequent potty breaks and walks. Have a schedule set when to feed them. Make sure to clean up after the pet when necessary.

About: Huge lover of dogs and puppies of all sizes and breeds! I grew up with family dogs and fostered dogs throughout college; it was a super rewarding and FUN experience. I’ve dealt with shy dogs, dogs with anxiety and pups as young as 6 weeks. Eventually I adopted my own and I can now say I’ve spent hours on end at dog parks. I am a happy owner of a 8 year old mix named Tucker and 4 year old golden retriever puppy named Skye. My husband and I as a team will both be responsible for your fur babies so you get 2 dog sitters for the price of 1! We would love to meet, care and play with your pup and I'm sure our dogs will too. Just to note: Tucker is weary with humans and will bark his head off the second he sees a PERSON he doesn’t know... but other than that, he has no problems with other dogs and would love to hang out with yours! My work schedule changes weekly based on my team's attendance that week, but typically I am in the office Mon-Thurs. On days I’m in the office, I’m gone from about 9am–4:30pm. We have a pet cam set up for when we are hosting other dogs so that we are able to monitor them sleeping on the couch all day. If your dog is house-trained and/or crate-trained and is comfortable being in a calm environment, they are welcome to come hang out with Tucker and Skye during the day! As soon as me or my husband are home from work, we’re back to playing, going on walks around the neighborhood, or heading to the dog park. On days I work from home, your pup will get tons of attention. There’s lots of playtime with my dogs and walks throughout the day. We live in a super dog-friendly area with plenty of walking paths and parks, so there’s always something to do. When your dog stays with me you can expect: 1. A team of 2 dog sitters for the price of 1! (my husband & I) 2. Lots of play with our two dogs 2. Walks around the neighborhood 3. Photo updates to show that you’re dog is happy, comfy and settling in okay! A couple things to note: 1. We have 2 dogs in the house currently (your dog must get along with other dogs). Both our dogs are typically low-key and just laze around with us, but they are also always ready to walk and play at all times. 2. We have a (small) fenced patio area out back for them to potty and be outside. They will have plenty of space inside and outside to play with each other, however, since we don't have a full yard, your dog(s) will join ours on our neighborhood walks.

Mango had so much fun with Sujan and his family and their dog. She was very happy and healthy when I picked her up. She even had a day or two of sadness missing her new friends!
