About: I only found about my love for dogs when I decided to get a dog a few years ago. My experience includes raising a chow chow puppy into a member of dog society by individual and dog park playtime, walks outside, administering medication, and enforced chill time as necessary. I know how anxiety inducing leaving your pets when you're away, so I will treat you the way I would like to be treated with many photo / video updates! I love all dogs, big or small, outgoing or shy! If your dog is socialized enough for a trip to PetSmart or marshalls, could do that too! I work full time from home without many meetings which gives me the flexibility I want to walk dogs or drop by a for visits. I can work with whatever equipment your dog is used to - collars and harnesses. If your dog has a schedule, I will follow it so they don't feel out of their routine.

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. I’ve fostered, adopted, and cared for many dogs. Puppies and kittens are my specialty, but senior animals deserve just as much love. If a crate is required, we have plenty of room to set up the crate with in our home.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I started out by helping neighbors take care of their cats and dogs, and over the years that love grew into rescuing and caring for animals of my own. I’ve shared my life with both a cat and a dog with special needs, and I even helped raise an abandoned baby squirrel. I’m a biologist by training, and through my work I’ve also cared for rabbits, providing gentle pre- and post-surgery support. I’ve previously provided cats and dogs care with a company called Pet Nanny and was certified through Pet Sitters International. I especially enjoy walking small and medium-sized dogs and always make sure each walk is filled with patience, attention, and lots of love. After my job ended in September due to a reduction in force, I decided to follow my heart and focus on animal care full time, beginning with dog walking from 11am-10pm. I also except dogs day care. Your dog’s safety and happiness always come first. I walk with full attention to my surroundings and to what your dog needs in the moment. We take our time so they can do their business, enjoy plenty of sniffing and “reading messages,” stretch their legs, and truly enjoy the walk before heading home. I’ll treat your dog as if they were my own and will always keep you updated about anything special, unusual, or urgent that comes up.

Now I'm working my heart out to build my own business ventures while getting back to my love for pet care. Working as a pet attendant has not only enforced my love for animals even further but it has also taught me how to handle various animal-related situations. It was one of those jobs that after you quit for years, you still reminiscing about. I reminisce about the pups I took care of every single day. Seeing the joys on the pets and their owner's face after the end of each daycare session always makes my day — bonus point when the dogs do their little exciting dance when they see you! During my time working fulltime there, I worked with 100+ fur babies a day (from small babies to big boys!) From giving your fur children medicine to showering them due to digestive issue, I've done (and mastered) it all. I'm currently working as a digital designer but the corporate working culture is killing my soul. Hence, I would LOVE to branch out to different paths and journeys. Morning and early afternoon are the ideal time slots for me, but I am open for discussion. At the end of the day, your pets healthy routine is what matter! I am active and love hiking. Although my place doesn't have a yard, I can take your babies out for fun walks and activies in the park. I am also very organized in my home so your pets will feel absolutely comfortable with an odor-free and cleaned environment. My security, Storm (from X-Men), will also make sure no bugs can attack your pets.

“I cannot recommend Jessica enough! She was fantastic with our two older dogs! It was the first time we left them with someone other than a friend, so I was a bit concerned as to whether our little dog (who is very skittish) would warm up to Jessica. I was also concerned because our bigger dog has a lot of medical issues (including mobility problems). Jessica was phenomenal. She arranged some time to come by and meet them and us beforehand. She asked really detailed questions - which let me know she was tuned into their care. She gave great updates on her visits and sent photos, too. Her updates let me know how well she was getting to know their unique quirks and personalities. She kept in touch with everything that came up - and even suggested some things to make our bigger dog more comfortable. I was blown away by the care she gave to our girls! Her thoughtfulness erased my concerns about how the dogs were doing while we were gone. I was able to relax and have a worry-free trip. And our little dog was giving her kisses and greeting her at the door after only a couple of visits! If we travel again without the dogs, I wouldn't want anyone else to care for our girls.”

About: My house has been filled with pets since before I was born! My family has rescued dogs, cats and horses from shelters, bad homes, and the streets in order to give them loving forever-homes. As an only child, my dogs and cats were more like siblings than pets. I've taken care of dogs since I was old enough to do chores and have loved every animal in my life, whether they were my family's pets or those of friends. I have two cats with me here in Maryland and a Lab and Corgi who are with my family in Minnesota! I'd love to take your pup on a walk or care for your dog or cat while you're away! I'm a graduate student with a fairly flexible schedule. I work from home and try to inject breaks into my day by taking walks, which I'd love to do with your dog! I have a vehicle and am happy to drive within my listed range to walk or sit for you. I have a townhouse with a back yard and there is a dog park 4 minutes from my home. Depending on your pet and their needs, I may be able to host your dog at my home while you're away. In my home, pets' safety, comfort, and needs are always met. Preventative measures are taken to make sure no dangerous objects/ingestibles are laying around. Water is always available and food is given at the proper times. Playtime and walking are essential, but proper leash and collar/harness and baggies are always a must when outside! To me, dogs are the focus of a walk and should not just be closely watched to make sure they are safe, but should also be engaged with, praised, and loved throughout. Similarly, pet-sitting is an active role that requires my attention--lucky for me I also get to have a blast playing with and caring for your dog while sitting!
