About: I only found about my love for dogs when I decided to get a dog a few years ago. My experience includes raising a chow chow puppy into a member of dog society by individual and dog park playtime, walks outside, administering medication, and enforced chill time as necessary. I know how anxiety inducing leaving your pets when you're away, so I will treat you the way I would like to be treated with many photo / video updates! I love all dogs, big or small, outgoing or shy! If your dog is socialized enough for a trip to PetSmart or marshalls, could do that too! I work full time from home without many meetings which gives me the flexibility I want to walk dogs or drop by a for visits. I can work with whatever equipment your dog is used to - collars and harnesses. If your dog has a schedule, I will follow it so they don't feel out of their routine.
“"DJ" was very prompt and caring with our (large) dogs! We were so pleased with his attention to detail, we are going to request his services during our next trip without hesitation.”

“Dee Dee is awesome! We can always count on her for weekly weekday walks. She always gives great updates and sends pictures during each visit. Happy we came across her profile on Rover!”

“Hired Brittany to walk/play with Mason during the workday (60 minutes). He had a blast and was relaxed and tired when he came back. Brittany was timely and efficient and sent pics/update when finished. Will be hiring Brittany again.”

“Theresa is AMAZING! I used Rover for the first time last week and I was so nervous about my pup being home alone/meeting someone new but Theresa is a rockstar! My pup loved her and had a great time with Theresa. She texted me updates while I was at work and really made sure my pup was taken care of and put all my anxieties at ease. I will definitely be scheduling daily walks with Theresa!”

I follow their routine, provide plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.

About: I am fairly new to the pet care industry, I have experience in taking care and training pets my family have owned. I am very good at bonding with any animal I meet and making sure all needs and responsibilities are taken care of. I look forward getting more experience and am super excited to work with you and your pets! Because I work a busy schedule during the week, I dedicate my entire weekend to pet sitting! I have full, uninterrupted availability from Friday evening through Sunday night, meaning your pet will get my 100% undivided attention, long walks, and constant companionship Your pet's safety is my absolute top priority. I tend to never rush through care routines or try to juggle multiple tasks. I strictly follow your specific feeding, walking, and medication instructions to keep your pet's routine consistent. I am highly attentive during neighborhood walks, always keeping dogs on a secure safe leesh and avoid interactions with unknown animals. You will receive frequent photo and text updates throughout the weekend so you can relax knowing your furry family member is safe, happy, and thriving.
About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I started out by helping neighbors take care of their cats and dogs, and over the years that love grew into rescuing and caring for animals of my own. I’ve shared my life with both a cat and a dog with special needs, and I even helped raise an abandoned baby squirrel. I’m a biologist by training, and through my work I’ve also cared for rabbits, providing gentle pre- and post-surgery support. I’ve previously provided cats and dogs care with a company called Pet Nanny and was certified through Pet Sitters International. I especially enjoy walking small and medium-sized dogs and always make sure each walk is filled with patience, attention, and lots of love. After my job ended in September due to a reduction in force, I decided to follow my heart and focus on animal care full time, beginning with dog walking from 11am-10pm. I also except dogs day care. Your dog’s safety and happiness always come first. I walk with full attention to my surroundings and to what your dog needs in the moment. We take our time so they can do their business, enjoy plenty of sniffing and “reading messages,” stretch their legs, and truly enjoy the walk before heading home. I’ll treat your dog as if they were my own and will always keep you updated about anything special, unusual, or urgent that comes up.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for years through friends, family, and pets I've had the opportunity to care for along the way. Those experiences taught me that every dog has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level, and I take the time to learn what makes each pet feel safe and happy. Today, I'm the proud owner of a Cavapoo puppy, Oreo, which has given me daily hands-on experience with puppy care, exercise, feeding routines, enrichment activities, and positive reinforcement. Caring for my own dog has strengthened my understanding of the patience, consistency, and attention that great pet care requires. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. That's why I prioritize communication, reliability, and regular photo updates so you can feel confident your pet is receiving the same level of care and attention I'd want for my own. Whether your dog enjoys walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to a familiar routine, my goal is to help them feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home. Because I work from home, I'm able to maintain a flexible schedule and be present for the pets in my care throughout the day. This allows me to provide regular walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention while keeping pets comfortable and on their usual routine. My goal is to create a safe, stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. Because I work from home, I'm able to maintain a flexible schedule and be present for the pets in my care throughout the day. This allows me to provide regular walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention while helping pets stay comfortable and on their usual routine. I also have a friendly Cavapoo puppy, Oreo, who loves companionship and can be a great playmate for dogs who enjoy being around other pets. About: I am a huge pet lover who has experience taking care of dogs and cats alike. I am patient, honest, responsible, and flexible to whatever your needs may be! Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions :) I have owned both dogs and cats since I was a baby, pets are a part of my daily life! My loved ones share the same ideals, so my daily routines usually always revolve around walking/cleaning/feeding schedules. I am very attentive when it comes to my pets and those that I am caring for. I try to include them in my personal activities, whether that be having them next to me while watching a show or taking them with me on a walk around the neighborhood. What helps me a lot is setting reminders for specific tasks, such as administering medication or special “out” times. Regular feeding and letting outside periods are inherent, as they are usually the first thing I do when I wake up and never forget in the evening.
“Ellena was great! We needed someone last minute and she not only responded right away but was able to come. Her friendliness came through immediately and we knew Cooper was in good hands. Sure enough, we got our very detailed Rover card and lots of pictures. She was very responsible, punctual, and communicative. Highly recommend her. We’ll definitely reach out to her again!”

“Romario was fantastic with Nalu! He was incredibly communicative throughout, always letting me know exactly when he arrived and when he was leaving, plus sending pictures during the walk so I could see Nalu having a great time. That level of communication put my mind completely at ease. You can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs he walks; Nalu came home happy and well-exercised every time. He’s reliable, punctual, and clearly experienced with different dog personalities. I’d trust him with Nalu again in a heartbeat and recommend him to anyone looking for a walker who treats their pup like family.”

We did a meet and greet earlier in the week and it went great. My dog can be shy with strangers so she was patient and let him sniff her. Then for the scheduled walk, they walked along a trail that I recommended since my dog is people and dog reactive. She gave him more water and put him back in the playpen as requested which is important since he gets into stuff. Overall, great experience.

I am so thankful and pleased with Dymond! She took care of my 8 month puppy with such ease, although he is not easy! She was so patient when he was nervous and so calm when he was wild. I will absolutely use Dymond again and again! She also sent photos, videos, and updates! Thank you!!

Fabiola is great! She was able to accomodate our last minute request, which we truly appreciate. She is reliable, communicative and took excellent care of our pup Georgie. It gave us peace of mind knowing our Pup is in good hands. Highly recommend and would gladly rebook. Thanks Fabby!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
