Dog walker with experience and love
I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I started out by helping neighbors take care of their cats and dogs, and over the years that love grew into rescuing and caring for animals of my own. I’ve shared my life with both a cat and a dog with special needs, and I even helped raise an abandoned baby squirrel. I’m a biologist by training, and through my work I’ve also cared for rabbits, providing gentle pre- and post-surgery support. I’ve previously provided cats and dogs care with a company called Pet Nanny and was certified through Pet Sitters International. I especially enjoy walking small and medium-sized dogs and always make sure each walk is filled with patience, attention, and lots of love.

Your dog’s safety and happiness always come first. I walk with full attention to my surroundings and to what your dog needs in the moment. We take our time so they can do their business, enjoy plenty of sniffing and “reading messages,” stretch their legs, and truly enjoy the walk before heading home. I’ll treat your dog as if they were my own and will always keep you updated about anything special, unusual, or urgent that comes up.

Elena has been a phenomenal dog-walker. My dog wags his tail LOTS each time she shows up. She gives him lots of love and attention. Elena sends me great updates at the end of each walk, and cute pictures too. HIGHLY recommend!

Elena is truly exceptional, and I cannot recommend her enough! We have two very different dogs - one is an elderly chihuahua who requires special care and the other is a shy dog who gets very sad when we leave. Elena handled both of them with so much patience, compassion, and understanding. She followed all of our care instructions perfectly (especially for our senior chihuahua) and made us feel completely at ease knowing our pup was in such capable hands. Our shy dog has grown to love Elena and gets very excited when he sees her!

Schedule
After my job ended in September due to a reduction in force, I decided to follow my heart and focus on animal care full time, beginning with dog walking from 11am-10pm. I also except dogs day care.
