About: While I don't own a dog, I have been around them all my life, and have never know i dog I didn't love, or didn't love me. Rover has opened doors for me to meet and relate to new people and pets. I am a supervisor at my job and i also am in school as a grad student, so i take responsibility very seriously. As a dog sitter, I view this as an oppurtunity to connect with different people and of course animals. Also, forcing me to get outside and be more active! I would like to be able to walk your dog, complete check ins, and house sit. Unfortunatley, as much as I would like to, I cannot dog board with my current living status. My schedule is very tight, so I do have to limit myself to the number of clients I take on. The more time advance a booking is offered, the more I will be able to adjust my schedule to meet those requirements. I care to the standards of the pet owners, and frequently send pics an updates as well as I ask questions when necessary. I also do my best to go above and beyond when i can!
About: Hi, I’m Nathan! Animal care isn't just a hobby for me—it’s a central part of my life. I have years of hands-on experience looking after a diverse family of pets, ranging from high-energy working dogs to delicate toy breeds, independent felines, and backyard poultry. Whether your pet has four legs or two wings, I provide the specialized, attentive care they deserve. I understand that no two dogs are the same, and I adapt my approach to fit your pup’s unique size, breed personality, and energy level. Because I am currently on summer break, I have completely open, flexible availability! My schedule is wide open, which means pet care is my absolute top priority right now. Whether you need last-minute coverage, daily recurring walks, or extended house sitting over the summer months, I am available and ready to help! When I am house sitting or drop-in visiting, your home and your pets are treated with the utmost respect. I pride myself on clear communication, punctuality, and sending you regular photo updates so you can have complete peace of mind while you are away. I can’t wait to meet your unique pet family! Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a meet-and-greet.
“Melissa was absolutely great! She worked with me when I need care for my pup pretty much last minute. She kept in contact and kept me at ease during her care for my dog.”

“Catherine was wonderful! I hired her for drop-in visits for my 4 cats, including a diabetic cat who she gave insulin. She was very kind, sweet with the kitties, and even took the bags of litter out to the trash even though I told her she didn’t need to do that (it’s a bit of a walk to the dumpster.) I’m very happy I hired her for my trip :)”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I can remember. From house sitting, to walking them, to even taking care of my own dog. I’ve worked with different breeds and ages, and I love them all! I stay at home mostly throughout the week, and I’ve been wanting to get out a couple of times, and this would be the perfect opportunity to take care of your dogs in walking, or dropping by to play! I live in an apartment complex, so I would have to go to where you are to walk/play with your dog, or I could take them to a dog park!

“Love Jennifer’s report cards! She always sends so many pictures and updates me on what’s going on and what she cleaned! I know my cats are in good hands when she goes over to visit and take care of them!”

“I am consistently impressed with Don’s attentiveness and excellent communication when caring for my two cats! I am a repeat customer of Don’s and will continue to hire him. I am often out of town for long stretches of time for work and I always come home to two happy, well cared for cats. Don always makes note of my cats’ behavior, as well as general care he performed. It’s a comfort knowing that Don is giving thorough attention to detail when I’m away.”

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for years through friends, family, and pets I've had the opportunity to care for along the way. Those experiences taught me that every dog has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level, and I take the time to learn what makes each pet feel safe and happy. Today, I'm the proud owner of a Cavapoo puppy, Oreo, which has given me daily hands-on experience with puppy care, exercise, feeding routines, enrichment activities, and positive reinforcement. Caring for my own dog has strengthened my understanding of the patience, consistency, and attention that great pet care requires. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. That's why I prioritize communication, reliability, and regular photo updates so you can feel confident your pet is receiving the same level of care and attention I'd want for my own. Whether your dog enjoys walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to a familiar routine, my goal is to help them feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home. Because I work from home, I'm able to maintain a flexible schedule and be present for the pets in my care throughout the day. This allows me to provide regular walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention while keeping pets comfortable and on their usual routine. My goal is to create a safe, stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. “As a first time Rover user, I’m very happy with the service and the visits provided by Mary. She took time to meet us and the three dogs a few weeks before we went out of town. She sent us photos of each visit which let us know the dogs received excellent care while we were away. Very comforting to know the dogs could stay at home and receive high quality care at a reasonable rate. Will request Mary’s assistance again; her prompt communication and friendly demeanor made it very easy to work with her.”

Washington Grove pet parents share their Rover experiences
This is the longest time I’ve been away from my cat and I felt very comfortable knowing she was in good hands with Rachel. She was able to give Pixel her oral medication and always provided detailed updates on her demeanor and playfulness for the given visit. I looked forward to seeing the summary and pictures each time!

Kate accepted our last minute request to drop by to check on our cat while we were out. Our cat is elderly, shy and not very friendly, but Kate managed to get her out of her shell and play/pet her. She sent many pictures and details about how she was doing and it was great peace of mind. We came home to a happy, well fed and well taken care of kitty. Thanks Kate! Happy to recommend if you need her to take care of your kitty.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended! Hanah is very reliable, trustworthy, and easy to work with. She is clearly knowledgeable and experienced with dogs, and she takes the time to understand both your needs and your dog’s needs. Her expertise and genuine care gave me complete peace of mind. I was very pleased with the service she provided and would not hesitate to use her again in the future. I highly recommend Hanah to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter or dog walker.

We used Leticia recently to watch our 3 dogs. She did an excellent job. She was communicative, flexible, warm, and friendly. She came out ahead of time to meet our pets and asked appropriate questions. She also sent lots of pictures of our pets so that we knew they were happy and well cared for. We will absolutely be looking for her again in the future.

Mark was fantastic! He put us at ease the whole time we were away not just with great photos but with amazing information about how our two cats were doing and confirming everything was taken care of. He really went the extra mile and offered to do more than what we asked. He was reliable, kind, and the cats were clearly very comfortable with him. We would love to use him again in the future!

Nicole was absolutely wonderful! My wife and I looked forward to her daily updates and appreciated the videos and pictures she sent us of our little boy, Bruce (4 years old Bombay cat). She was detailed in her daily updates which provided us with a sense of ease, knowing that she was taking such good care of him and our home. We highly recommend her and will definitely be booking her services for any future travel :)
