“We are very happy with the care that Milo received both during day care as well as during a week long boarding recently. Sophia is meticulous in her caring and it is clear she loves dogs. Milo is demonstrably happy when we drive up to her house. There is a large backyard where the dogs can run around. Sophia only cares for medium sized dogs, so we had no concern on this account.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since 2000 and cats since I was 8. From kitten, puppies to senior dogs and cats, I love them all. I will care for your dog like they were my own. I currently work from home everyday. I can walk dogs before work, pet sit all day, or watch them in the evening or overnight. I am available for long stays as well. I have no pets at this time so your pet can be comfortable and roam around freely. I can feed, play with and give lots of attention.
“I am so bless to have Raghavi P. on Rover. She took excellent care of my toy poodle, Nema. Nema has never been to daycare, and Raghavi P. made me and Nema feel at ease from the very start. She communicated well and even sent me pictures each day. I will definitely use Raghavi P. again and highly recommend her services.”

“Yuhui took great care of Miso, played with her, and gave Miso a lot of attention. She gave us a detailed report on what Miso did during her time there and took her out on multiple walks. Miso enjoyed spending her time there.”

“Caden is an incredible sitter. He kept me updated throughout the day with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. My puppy started off shy, and Caden knew exactly how to support him — even hand‑feeding him to make sure he ate despite being nervous. His home is welcoming, and his mom is just as sweet and attentive with the dogs. I highly recommend him and will definitely book again. 10/10.”

About: Hi! I'm Yesi, and I work from home full-time, which means visiting dogs receive plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I have two friendly pups, Max and Luna, who are a big part of the family. We understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your dog, and I strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where dogs can feel at home while you're away. Because I work remotely, your dog won't be left alone for long periods. Whether they enjoy playing, exploring the yard, going for walks, or simply relaxing on the couch, I'll do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I have the most experience with small and medium-sized dogs, but I am also open to larger breeds, as long as they are friendly, well-socialized, and a good fit for my home. The safety and comfort of all dogs in my care are my top priorities. I provide regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is happy, safe, and well cared for. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! Typical Daily Schedule Because I work from home full-time, your dog will receive plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. Morning Potty break and breakfast Outdoor time and light exercise Midday Potty breaks, playtime, and companionship Walks or enrichment activities based on your dog's needs Evening Dinner, outdoor time, and family time Final potty break before bed I do my best to keep each dog's routine as consistent as possible during their stay. Safety & Environment Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. ✔️ Work-from-home supervision ✔️ Safe, clean, dog-friendly home ✔️ Friendly resident dogs, Max & Luna ✔️ Frequent potty breaks and outdoor time ✔️ Daily photo updates ✔️ Personalized care based on your dog's routine and personality Meet-and-greets are encouraged before the first booking to ensure everyone is comfortable and a good fit.
“I worked with Huan for doggy day care while I was away for the day. She was very kind from the start and very responsive to messages and communication. I really appreciate how welcoming she was to both myself and my dog. She ensured that I was comfortable with leaving my dog with her, and made sure to understand any needs for my pup and any concerns I might have had. Was a great experience and I will definitely be reaching out again the next time I need a sitter!”

“Ingrid was fantastic with Zazu! Also very responsive and accepted last-minute booking and sent tons of pictures and videos. If I am ever in the area again, I will surely be going to her.”

About: (September 13th-16th..... October 12th-18th... November...December 1-5 and the 14th-31st still open for boarding) Please reserve a spot early if you are looking at specific dates. *Coming Soon...Pick-up and Drop-Off Service (within a limited radius). There's no place like home but if you can't be there, your pets should be here. I take the responsibility of providing great care and protecting pets here very seriously during their stay. Whether you’re going on vacation, buisness trip or just need a hand, I'm around and available to provide great care. Most pets have unique routines and behavior. I'll try to customize a schedule that suits each one best. Pets are never left alone and unattended in the yard. My top priorities are the exact same as yours; the safety, comfort and happiness of your pet during their stay, Just let me know if there are activities they especially enjoy...walks, playing catch, afternoon naps etc...and I'll take care of the rest. Most pets seem endlessly entertained by all of the action at the park directly across the street. They'll sit at the front window watching everything that passes by, If your dog happens to be an exteme jumper, let me know and I'll focus on long walks and other activities instead so they aren't left alone at all in the yard at all so there are no escapes. There's no need for your pet to be crate or cage trained here. I prefer not to use them unless instructed by you. One of the absolute great features here are the ramps we have leading inside and outside for pets that are older or have mobility issues. I've had dogs, cats and other pets at all different energy and age levels throughout my life including beagles, pitbulls, poodles, cats and many others. Sometimes a little attention and exercise is all they desire. I definitely enjoy caring for all animals and do understand that most pets have their patterns of behavior that give them character and make them who they are. I'll care for your pet like they were my own making sure they receive the attention they deserve. They'll be allowed to hang out pretty much all over the house, including sitting on the couch if you allow it and will not be left alone. If your pup loves walks, parks, creeks, playing catch and fenced yards, this is the place for them! A stay is more like going to camp for them. I currently don’t have any pets of my own and I’d love to care for yours in the meantime. I appreciate how much a great friend means to someone. If you’re trying to find genuine, loving care for your pet, you have found the right place. I'm always available for a meet and greet visit and it's best to reserve a spot early if possible, especially close to holidays. If you have a chance, please check out the photo gallery to see some of our buddies enjoying their time in the parks and surroundings. If you would like any other information, just get in touch anytime. Thank you again for your time and interest. We hope to see you soon. I'm usually at home and available most of the time. I do my best to remain flexible and accommodate most schedules. You never have to worry about being early or late with drop offs and pick ups, we can always arrange to keep everything convenient as possible. There's nothing better than spending time away without worrying about your pet’s safety and happiness. Here, I take precautions to ensure that everything goes well with no incidents. They have a fenced yard to explore and play in, a park right across the street where we take long walks, extended trails with a creek area to explore, and more right across the street and around the corner! If your dog occasionally acts uncomfortable or anxious around other dogs or people, I'll walk them in isolated-unpopulated areas. I've had more than one dog just like this so I know and understand how to work with these situations. I always keep things safe as a first priority. If pets don't seem to get along that well, they remain separated as necessary. There's plenty of room here and I make sure everything is dog proof, including making sure there's nothing they can get into on the counters or floors.( I know some dogs are like magicians and are very good at reaching things anywhere) If you have any questions or would like any other information please let me know anytime. I do my very best to make any stay for pets enjoyable and safe.
“Katherine was seriously a life save for our 3 month puppy Finn. We unexpectedly realized we could not take our puppy to an event and she had a quick response and was willing to take care and watch our puppy. We are incredibly grateful to have found Katherine. Couldn’t recommend her enough and will definitely be rebooking!”

“Juju received great care. She was happy when we picked her up. Cornell is quick to respond to any questions or to provide updates as requested. He gave great details and feedback on her visit when we picked her up.”

“Shadid is amazing! It was my first time using Rover and I was nervous about leaving my puppy, Rudy, with someone else. From the moment we met Shadid, she was great with Rudy. I was concerned about Rudy getting anxious and being difficult to manage. I realized quickly that I had nothing to worry about with Shadid. Rudy was immediately comfortable with her. I don’t think he even noticed me leave because he was so excited to hang out with Shadid & Pebbles all day. Throughout the day, I received pictures of Rudy at the park and playing. It felt great knowing that Rudy was in good hands and having an amazing day. When I picked Rudy up, he was sad to leave! Rudy can be challenging and usually takes a while to warm up to people, so I was extremely impressed by Shadid’s ability to care for dogs. I would absolutely be comfortable leaving Rudy with Shadid again and am so grateful that I found her. If you love your dog and don’t know which sitter will be best, contact Shadid!! Your dog will have the best day and you’ll feel great knowing he/she is in good hands! From a professional standpoint, Shadid is excellent. I’m in medical school and was taking an exam during Rudy’s stay, so it was important to me that the sitter be professional. Shadid was perfect. She responds quickly and is completely reliable. I strongly recommend her!”

“Rachel was great! We always get nervous leaving our anxious little pup in a new place but he did great! Rachel was very responsive too and send updates & pictures. Will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Gena is amazing! She has cared for our puppy multiple times and he loves going over to her home and also playing with her dog. She communicates often and quickly with updates, she’s understands and respects the boundaries we have for our dog, and she is accommodating and flexible to our schedules. 10/10 recommend!”

I highly recommend Chash C.! They took wonderful care of my 16-year-old toy poodle and gave her the extra patience, attention, and love that an elderly dog needs. I was especially grateful that they were able to accommodate us on such short notice. Before her stay, they arranged a meet-and-greet so we could get to know each other and make sure our dogs would be a good fit. That thoughtful step immediately made me feel comfortable leaving my precious girl in their care. Throughout her stay, they sent pictures and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind and let me see how happy and well cared for she was. It was clear that she was treated like part of the family. If you’re looking for someone who is kind, dependable, and truly cares about your pet, I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Chash C. again!

We are very happy with Rhea. She did a great job caring for Cocomelon and provided pictures and a video. This helped put me at ease since this was the first time I have left my little Cocomelon with someone I did not know previously. She provided a card so I could see what she did during her time with my pet. Thank you.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
