About: Hi! I’m Ingrid, a mom of 4 boys ages 3-12 and a dog owner to a boy Beagle named Otis. I’ve had dogs all my life and love being with them and caring for them! (I even trained Otis from a puppy!) We have a large house in the country on 2.5 acres of land. We LOVE having other dogs stay and visit! Otis and the children are very good with other dogs! Other than taking care of the house and kids, taking care of dogs is my only other job, so your pup will get plenty of needed attention and have lots of fun with us!!! We are on a 2.5 acre property, but no fence, so outside time will be on leash only- (we have long leashes for more freedom to roam). Inside is more flexible with free roam in the main area- very large sunroom, living room, and kitchen. Overnight sleeping in crate only.
“Cameron is great! We have left our dog with him for day care on different occasions and for boarding; he seems to have a great time playing, going for walks, etc. each time. I would recommend him.”

“Stella is a highly anxious dog and we were very happy with the way Shruti and her family took care of Stella. They tried their very best to assure she was comfortable and even went outside of their own house rules to make her feel loved and safe. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a family environment and their dog is super friendly and happy!”

“Our Great Dane puppy loves daycare at Christina' s. And it's very clear Christina loves dogs too! She's very accomodating, knowledgeable and dedicated to providing a good, healthy time for the dogs.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid and cats since I was a young adult. I have seen them through teething, surgery, diabetes, and other grave illnesses. I have taken care of puppies and seniors. Ask me about my monthly package deals. Reach out for boarding information - it is a one-on-one service. I am coasting into retirement so my schedule is open both weekdays and weekends. I would love to fill it with more dogs and cats. Right now I have Astrid, my Westie girl. We walk most morning before 6 AM and start our day early. My wife will take care of her while I am out caring for your pet. Late evening I take Astrid out for a walk and get both of us to bed.
“I am so bless to have Raghavi P. on Rover. She took excellent care of my toy poodle, Nema. Nema has never been to daycare, and Raghavi P. made me and Nema feel at ease from the very start. She communicated well and even sent me pictures each day. I will definitely use Raghavi P. again and highly recommend her services.”

“Lynn was very accommodating when we ran late to dropping off our dog. She is communicative throughout the visit. I appreciate that I can drop off our anxious dog with Lynn without worry. Our dog sometimes is resistant to people putting her harness on, and Lynn smartly used a treat to encourage our dogs cooperation without frightening her. That is important for anxious dogs! We will absolutely continue to bring our dog to Lynn when we are in the area”

“Gena is amazing! She has cared for our puppy multiple times and he loves going over to her home and also playing with her dog. She communicates often and quickly with updates, she’s understands and respects the boundaries we have for our dog, and she is accommodating and flexible to our schedules. 10/10 recommend!”

About: I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and genuinely love caring for dogs! I grew up helping care for our family beagle for 11 years, so I understand what it’s like to have both a younger, more energetic dog and an older dog who needs a slower pace and extra patience. I’ve also cared for my neighbors’ dogs, following feeding schedules, walking routines, and any special care instructions closely. I believe in gentle handling, clear communication, and making sure both pets and owners feel comfortable and at ease! I’m currently in a gap year, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I structure my days around responsibilities, so I’m able to prioritize walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins without feeling rushed. When I’m not caring for pets, I spend time studying for the GRE, which allows me to stay nearby and attentive throughout the day. I provide attentive and hands-on care, whether I’m caring for dogs in my home or in a client’s home. Since I don’t have a fenced yard, dogs are taken out on leashed walks for exercise and bathroom breaks. I follow feeding schedules, walking routines, and any special care instructions closely. If a dog is crate-trained and a crate is provided, I’m happy to maintain that routine. I’m also very comfortable caring for dogs in their own homes to help maintain familiarity and reduce stress.
“Overall, I am so happy I found Alex and Christina. They were very accommodating to our pup. He is a bit anxious but A&C we’re very understanding and knew how to manage his behavior and make him feel comfortable. Our dog is on the smaller side and he was in a house with bigger dogs, but they all took their time before I left him to make him feel acclimated with his new daycare mates. I would definitely recommend these folks, they have a great professional demeanor and are very communicative and welcoming. Their space was clean and their dogs seemed very happy and healthy! This place is a great alternative to big chain kennels, we thought about Dogtopia- but they seemed so overcrowded and the dogs just seemed stressed out. Six stars for Alex and Christina! Thank you!”

“Yousef was excellent! He was friendly, responded quickly, and agreed to watch our dog relatively last minute. He provided updates which included pictures of our baby. She had a great time! I would definitely book with Yousef again if we are in the area again and need someone. Thank you again!!”

“I gave Gail 5 stars but she needs 10. First time booking and she was a life saver by stepping in after our regular options informed us they they could not accept the booking due to other obligations. She was able to accommodate for the two days and I can tell Buddy really enjoyed his stay. When the creators of this service envisioned the what type of sitters they would need to be successful this is who they had in mind. Thanks Gail.”

“We can't be happier with Sophia's service through Rover. The appointment schedule is easy and flexible with fast responses to our questions; most of all, Goliath seemed to really enjoy his stay. Plus, we also received real-time updates. Affordable and friendly service around the DC area, we highly recommend Sophia! Thanks, Sophia.”
