About: I have recently relocated to Frederick, Maryland from California after recently retiring & wanting to be closer to family <3 I have over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits, including senior and special-needs pets and animals requiring medications. I worked as a first responder for almost 14 years, I’m dependable, trustworthy, safety-conscious, and take the responsibility of caring for someone’s pets very seriously. I’m retired with a completely flexible schedule, so pet care can easily be accommodated throughout my day. I’m available mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays for boarding, doggy daycare, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I provide a safe, comfortable environment tailored to each pet’s individual needs and routine. I have a fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and plenty of indoor space, including separate areas when a visiting pet needs their own quiet space away from my animals. I’m experienced with medications, senior and special-needs pets, and will closely follow all feeding, exercise, medication, and care instructions. I will treat your animals as if they were my own while I am trusted with their care. About: Lifelong experience caring for dogs, cats and a horse and studying psychology in college. I believe quality time for bonding, play and affection is just as important as food/potty breaks for pet happiness. The best part of pet sitting is the quality time spent with your pet after all the business is done! I have a flexible schedule so I'm able to make most times work. I can walk, feed, water, scrub bowls, medicate (comfortable administering oral meds to dogs and cats), clean up as needed, play with and generally whatever is needed to keep your pet on a regular schedule. We have 2 friendly smaller dogs and a dog door & ramp straight out to the fenced backyard. The house is one level with only 1 step in and out. There are crates set up in multiple locations and there are ways to separate animals safely if ever needed. Someone is home all day every day, pets are never kept without heat or AC.
