About: I have raised my own dog since she was ten weeks old, mentored by my father who has raised three litters of puppies throughout his life. I have also done pet-sitting for friends and family for dogs as small as beagle puppies to as large as a Labrador. I am a Graduate student, but I manage to take six- mile walks every morning year-round. As my classes are in the evening, I can fit dog-walking into my schedule in the mornings and early afternoons. I am attentive and responsible for my pets needs, and take pride in ensuring that the animals I care for are happy and healthy. I have a nine-year-old mixed breed dog who enjoys her daily walks and sunbathing on the deck, but does not enjoy the company of other dogs very much.

About: Hi, i’m Allison! I have loved and cared for animals for almost my entire life. I had two cats that I got at 10 years old and cared for up until they passed away just a couple of years ago. I am currently a stay-at-home mom, which means I have the flexibility to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks and belly rubs to your furry dependents! I understand that routine is key and will make sure to keep your pet’s normal routine of feedings, walks and anything else that is needed. I will also make sure to take photos and send updates each visit to give you that peace of mind that they are happy and healthy! While my experience is mainly with cats, I have done visits for family/friends’ dogs for feedings and walks. Happy to do a free meet-and-greet before you book! I am currently a stay-at-home mom so my schedule is very flexible on both weekdays and weekends. Early mornings and evenings are preferred, but with advanced notice I can make times in between work. I will make sure all doors and gates are locked, clean up any messes, and make sure they always have fresh food/water and clean literboxes. For long trips away, I can help with minor chores like bringing the mail in or taking out trash bins.

About: Hi! I’m Ingrid, a mom of 4 boys ages 4-13 and a dog owner to a boy Beagle named Otis. I’ve had dogs all my life and love being with them and caring for them! (I even trained Otis from a puppy!) We have a large house in the country on 2.5 acres of land. We LOVE having other dogs stay and visit! Otis and the children are very good with other dogs! Other than taking care of the house and kids, taking care of dogs is my only other job, so your pup will get plenty of needed attention and have lots of fun with us!!! We are on a 2.5 acre property, but no fence, so outside time will be on leash only- (we have long leashes for more freedom to roam). Inside is more flexible with free roam in the main area- very large sunroom, living room, and kitchen. We have a large area for dogs to sleep overnight comfortably either on a dog bed or crate, whichever is preferred.

Ariana took care of our 17 year old cat for over 3 weeks while we were away. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
